I fully understand why this restaurant has 2.9 star rating. As a newbie to the area, we thought we would try out this restaurant. We arrived at 7:48 PM. We asked to dine in and some old lady came out of the woodwork having a meltdown that we wanted to eat in. She went on a rampage about it being 7:50pm and there was no way we could dine in. Now mind you they are open until 9pm and there arent any signs stating the dining in option closes at 8pm or in this case 7:48. If she would've calmly said we closed the inside restaurant at 8 PM. We would love to serve you with something to go, it would've been a better experience. Needless to say we left and I'm not sure I'm willing to go back anytime soon. Definitely look at the ratings before you go. Not a very welcoming restaurant to somebody new to the area. read more

We are from Tucson and get remarkable service at the Tucson location. We're in town visiting friends and order pizza horrible service. We complain about our pizza we wanted well done usually we get that done in Tucson and the bottom is nice and crispy. The top was crispy, but the bottom was RA. which can cause major health concerns. The manager on duty damah was extremely rude and told us " do what you gotta do" so professional! Not only did we waste $35 on one pizza but now we have to find somewhere else to eat. I ordered chicken parm from here. They obviously don't know what that is. Overpriced restaurant with horrible food. No love in the sauce or any effort at all. San Tan Valley needs better pizza and service. We ordered take out and as you can see in my pic we ordered a 10 piece boneless wing. To our suprise upon arriving home there were only 7 wings. We called and spoke to some one who said they were the owner. When we shared our concern they advised that they changed their policy and sell their wings by the pound and that our order was for half a pound.They were not concerned at all, even though it is listed on our emailed order summary and the paper recipt that was stickered to our box. I am not a fan of managers/owners who are not accountable. If you have a product listed for sale stand by it, don't hide behind policies. Also the food was same level of quality as the service we received when voicing our concern. The cheese is placed on top of the toppings and makes all the toppings come off when attempting to pick up a slice. Do yourself a favor, save a couple of bucks and order little ceasers. My granddaughter and I called in to pick up pizza tonight. It was the first time I've tried Rosati's since moving here a few months ago and we were both pleased. I asked them to make my pepperoni, onion, and green olive calzone a little on the well done side, which they did. It was delicious! My granddaughter asked for a 12" pan pizza with light sauce and pepperoni. She was also just as pleased with her meal as I was with mine. I appreciated that the staff opened the boxes and showed my granddaughter our food before she left with our order. They were very kind and seemed to care that we were happy with what we ordered. I've already recommended Rosati's to my daughter and son-in-law who live about a mile from me since they haven't tried it before and their daughter raved about her pizza when they asked if she enjoyed it. After staying away for 3 years after my last bad experience I decided to give it a go. I was shocked and the food was great. I am worried because I just read so many complaints ( some of which I reported) years ago. The blonde lady is the owner and maybe you should really try and hire in a fully experienced staff? Reliable Chicago style pizza. Tastes like it did in Chicago. The mozzarella cheese sticks have almost always arrived crisp upon delivery (all but one time). I have not been in the store. I have only used delivery. I have not tried any of the other food but the pizza is solid. read more

Pizza sucks plain and simple. It used to be really good! Husband insisted on ordering from them again and just like last time it's awful. Very dry crust, so dry it splits like it's days old. Staff is friendly and inviting. Seems to have a good menu. First time coming here, it was a bit of a last minute choice. The minus stars are for the particular dish I ordered. It was last minute so I went with a staple item, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Came out to $18 -$3 tip. It was not good. The sauce taste and chicken texture reminded me of those $1 Michelinas microwaveable plates. Now it could've been that particular dish but I was not a fan of it. The food is alright but the service is terrible. Their online pricing adds on $5 to the family pack for no reason and when you call in they will make up reasons to charge more for delivery $10 instead of $4. All we wanted was dinner while staying home with a day old baby and they got mad when we tried to point out the issue online. This is bad business and false advertising on their own website. Don't know why I keep trying this place. They can't ever get it right. Tonight I ordered on line. Lasagna was the special today for $12.99. Meat sauce was an extra $3. Couldn't find a way to get the promo price but went ahead and ordered plus an Italian Beef sandwich. I took a visit to Rosati's pizza a couple days ago. And I just have to say I am in complete disappointment of this place. The racism me and my family endured was very hurtful. When we first walked in they looked like they had seen ghosts (customers and associates). They made faces at us like we didn't belong there. When I told the lady we were "dine in" she said "oh" with an attitude. Our server was also very stand offish towards us, but was chopping it up with the Caucasian party next to us. She had an attitude towards us the whole time and I had to go and ask for my check when she was giving everyone else theirs. We have had issues with this location in the past, but had gone almost a year without any incident. As of late we have had no issue with delivery from here. Last night we were quoted 40-60mins for a delivery. After the driver had not shown up at 1hr 15mins we called back for an update and were told the driver was a couple of mins away. 15mins later no driver so we called back and were told oh sorry they are about 10mins away. Another 15mins goes by and we once again called only to be told the driver was a mile away. It took 2 hours to get our pizza and the boxes were warmer than the pizza itself. I called today to speak with the manager/supervisor as we were frustrated that we paid for a service and goods that were not satisfactory. The manager Shelby answered and had zero interest in talking to me -very terse and short with no regard for my frustration. I was told that i should have called the night before, when i informed them that we called multiple times for updates we were told that it was our error for not asking for a manager as they had not been told about any issue. I was given excuses about being short staffed. So i asked why it wasnt communicated that they were behind. Shelby made an excuse that she was busy and offered a $20 credit. We just had a family of 3 order spaghetti dinners at a cost of $20.99 each - when I questioned the cost, the employee told me there is a four dollar up charge to have meat sauce rather than marinara. This was never told to us when ordering and when I pointed it out and questioned it later I was told well it's on the menu in small print. The spaghetti dinner came with spaghetti and garlic bread no salad .. Meat sauce was extremely bland and certainly not worth a $4.00 up charge that as I mentioned we were not aware of until the large bill came. Our waitress or server was friendly . when I pointed out my disappointment, no effort was made to accommodate us at all. Food in my opinion was waayyy overpriced and I won't return there based on that fact as well as it wasn't that good for the price and no effort was made to make sure customer was happy. We ordered the Pan pepperoni pizza. It was perfect!! The sweet chili bones in wings had great flavor. They also have delicious ranch. And their chicken fettuccine is super creamy and they use real chicken. All in all it was a great experience. Service was great. Ask for Capryce. She was super helpful and attentive.
