After having researched many movers in the Vancouver area, we reached out to BungoBox. One of their friendly professionals immediately reached out and walked us through all of the details - with no pressure to commit. We valued their advice greatly as we have never had to book movers before, let alone from a such a long distance away. One thing we highly recommend, is to add-on BungoBox's rental containers. For us it was a set of 23 large, 2 extra large, and one dolly - along with some extra wrapping paper and a mattress protector. These items were indispensable and made packing, and moving, a breeze. As arranged, they were delivered early in the day, two days prior to the move. Move day couldn't have been more relaxed! The BungoBox team of two arrived right on time, wrapped all the furniture in blankets, and ensured everything was secured inside the truck. I will admit, I was anxious about where they would park as the two buildings did not have loading areas and the receiving end was located in a very busy part of the university. The lead mover reassured me that this was not a concern, they deal with this all the time. Sure enough, they arrived at the new apartment, parked the moving truck like the pros they are, and delivered all of our child's belongs without a single scratch! The moving containers were a 7 day rental, so we took some time over the next day or two unpacking, then simply let BungoBox know and the boxes were quickly picked up again. We are happy to say that we would not hesitate in recommending BungoBox to anyone moving in and around Vancouver. Their service is friendly and very professional. They are well worth the money and lifted a huge weight off of our shoulders.

This was a very last-minute move but they were able to schedule us in quickly, were super responsive, and very accommodating of our schedules. The boxes were absolutely a godsend. We had bungobox movers do the bulk of the move but we continued to use and re-use the boxes afterwards to cart the rest of our junk over bit by bit. They loaded into the car easier than standard boxes, the cart that comes with them makes them very easy to roll around even fully packed with heavy items, they stood up to a lot more punishment than cardboard ever would, and they were generally just easier to pick up and move around because of the handles and lids. Of course being environmentally friendly is a huge bonus as well. As for the move itself, I can honestly say I'd never do it myself ever again. The movers were on time, professional, friendly, and SO FAST. They're definitely pros. They took great care to wrap and/or tape up all my furniture and even my many awkward glass-top tables. I don't think a single item was damaged or broken. If I could give bungobox more stars I would.

I moved all my other designer or expensive items myself and forgot this new purse because it was still in the shopping bag. I had to go to work while the movers were coming. I left the new purse which was still in the shopping bag sitting on top of a arm chair in clear site, while I was at work during the move, my partner was with the movers and was unaware that the bag was sitting on the chair so he didn't keep an eye on it. When I was off work the move was finished and when I asked my partner where the bag was, he's said he hadn't seen it. The arm chair it was sitting on was moved, and everything else was moved. The one designer item I made the mistake of leaving in my home while this company was moving my stuff was stolen. I waited to post this review as I hadn't unpacked every single box, and as a business owner I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and be sure I hadn't mistakenly packed the new purse somewhere and forgotten, now that I've unpacked EVERY SINGLE BOX I'm 100% positive that this purse was stolen by this coming. No one else was in either my old apartment or the new one asides from them. Not one other item was lost during our move, only the one designer purse. Called Ferguson initially mostly because the reviews seemed decent. Our initial inquiry was responded to promptly and an estimator visited our house a few days later to give us a quote. It was the visit from the estimator that clinched it for us. Juville was so professional and thorough. Asked about things we hadn't even thought of. Made some excellent suggestions. My initial reaction to the quoted price was that it was higher than expected, but considering what the sketchy / overly complicated options were coming in at, it wasn't actually that much more. And Juville clearly knew what she was doing, which was extremely reassuring. We really appreciated that she came to our house, prepared a detailed written estimate on the spot, and left us to think about it, without any pressure. We called her back, booked the move and paid our deposit. On moving day we had the worst possible rain (and that's saying something in Vancouver). The movers were organized and professional, and the rain didn't slow them down at all. When the truck was weighed it was very close to what Juville had estimated on our written quote. So far, so good. Sadly, a lack of experience or care badly soiled our 2 sofas and armchair. Black fingerprints from dirty hands (no gloves or wipes when it counted), upholstery sitting on dirty truck floor without benefit of a blanket, then being pushed (yes on upholstery!) into the new condo, a suitcase being stacked with dirty wheels on armchair - do I need to say more? a corner of a night table was bashed in (not visible until plastic cling wrap removed).
