At one point, one nurse came in and asked me to move from the examining table to the chair to be more comfortable while waiting. Supposedly this was at the request of Dr. Mendes. Cool. At another point, a second nurse came in and told me the doctor was running a little behind with other patients and asked if I had anywhere to be. Not sure it would have mattered if I did, but it was still nice of her to ask. Dr. Mendes spent about 5-10 minutes with me and ultimately prescribed me an MRI, which is the outcome I was expecting. Because of the subtlety of my injury, he explained he wasn't really able to diagnose me in the absence of those results. Overall, the staff was courteous, professional, and prompt. My only complaint is that Dr. Mendes acknowledged that his associate, Dr. Chase, was who I should have seen in the first place. Chase specializes in sports and I did specify with the secretary when I made my appointment that I was coming in for a sports-related injury. No Mendes's fault, but still kind of annoying.

Dr Liu took all my pain away and gave me back my lifting abilities all while treating me like an actual person, not like a dollar sign as i had been in Erie. he explained the surgery completely, and the team set up everything from my hotel as well as travel to and from the hotel to surgery center. i have often spoke with folks debating on getting surgery done and hands down the most amazing place i've had work done. and because of that, i went to them again last year for detrimental cervical spine issues. In early 2025 was told my spinal column c5-c3 was unstable and in x-rays you could see it tipping off to the left. the pain i endured was so bad, i often thought about just ending existence. my pain was as if someone put red hot coals under my skin and into my muscles from my skull down to my lower lt region and across my entire back and into my shoulder and down both arms...and the pain was 24/7 with zero relief for months. Dr. Bitan preformed a double discectomy with the insertion of 2 cadaver bones and a mesh around c3-5. I INSTANTLY had relief of all that pain. recovery went well as i was back to doing the bulk of my normal life within a couple days and as the pain subsided from the surgery (he really had to move things around as i have a large, muscular neck) i've been accomplishing more and more of my life again (this spring i will go back to cutting firewood) and i've even picked up a few NEW hobbies in life.... Obviously if this was true, no one would even know my name or that I had surgery that day. after the coordinator told me to change in to the dress, she did come back to say she made a mistake. A new nurse came in and started asking about the insurance, which startled me, because it should've already been in the system. I told her it's fine, I will go back downstairs, while im downstairs registering, in comes the surgical team upset that im down stair registering. How Ironic?! After making it back upstairs with my wristband, there's another set of 3 nurses just waiting in the room. As im on a call, 1 nurses starts talking to me while im on the call, and I advised her of hw mannerless that was. I told her I couldn't talk to 2 nurses and finish up my call all at the same time. Dr. rizzo enters the room and DEMANDS me to sit down, like im not a patient, but the SLAVE ,that he made as a recent purchase. I advised him id rather stand and then he states he feels uncomfortable about doing the surgery if a physical person can't be there, which I totally understand. I told him thats fine, and then gathered my belongings and left. With that piece of information already in place, I didnt find it feasible enough to stay in a room with 10 people, once the Dr. is basically saying he has to cancel because the policy isn't being followed. I didnt have any issues with that. Th nurse, however, said he didnt know about the medical transport, and that she would tell him. All the while I had already made up my mind to not be seen there. Due to the lack of professionalism on his end and his staff. I felt as though they really wanted to blame me so bad for this and just couldn't admit they lacked communication. Yea! Literally was the worst day of my life. Im glad I dodged a bullet, He then proceeds to find me in the hallway and expressed his emotions towards me and that he wasn't comfortable. Meanwhile, im the patient, and no one is consoling me or asking me about how I felt. The narrative listed below is only 1 side of the story, not 2 sides. She takes "First, do no harm" seriously, and is careful not to prescribe unnecessarily. I have found the side-effects of medication and, unfortunately, surgery, are sometimes bad enough to avoid the treatment altogether. It's good to have a doctor that isn't so eager to do something that she does something ill-advised. I have seen Dr. Pride a couple of times when Dr. Schram hasn't been there. She is kind and caring and if Dr. Schram isn't available, I feel quite comfortable seeing her. I saw Dr. Snyder once. He is friendly and personable and was quite helpful. A response to people who love the doctors but rate the practice low because of wait times: If you want to see a really good doctor, expect to have to wait sometimes. I know it's hard to wait around when you're sick, but when lots of people are sick, you're going to have to wait. A doctor can only see one sick person at a time.

On December 18th, I made a video appointment with Denise, during this call everything went well; as usual. I was told by Denise as we ended the call, to follow up in 2 weeks. TWO WEEKS LATER...... I go to MyChart to schedule a follow-up with Denise, and I can't schedule an appointment, there are NO PROVIDERS LISTED!! Also, there was no way to send a message!! I call the office next, and I'm transferred to someone who tells me "You've been discharged from this practice!! SHOCKED!! ME?? WHY?? All that was explained to me was that "They are short staffed". Next, I was told that they would provide 1 month of medication while I find another provider. Now, for most people this might be ok, but for me, I'm on Controled Substance meds, and finding another provider is More than Difficult, and I explained them of this; THEY DID NOT CARE!! Being a patient with 3 chronic conditions in need of continuous medications, this type of behavior should be ILLEGAL!! Doctors take an oath, to "DO NO HARM", these Doctors Harmed Me Terribly!!
