Despite offering to pay any amount out of pocket -- because they don't accept our insurance -- the office refused to see us simply because we were "out of network." Dr. Shah does not accept cash-pay patients. As the founder of this office, he can apparently create whatever rules he wants -- including refusing to make an exception even for a desperate, suffering child. This is not just bad customer service; it is inhumane. Turning away a suffering patient who is willing to pay is unconscionable and violates the very principle of medical care: to help those in need. If you are looking for a practice that values compassion, patient well-being, and basic human decency, look elsewhere. This office has made it clear that policies come before patients.

My sister, a general surgeon, recommended I find a massage therapist. I started searching the internet, with visions of cucumber slices and fluffy white towels. I stumbled on the Evolve website and after reading the mission statement, I nearly cried from relief. Finally - someone who understood what it was like to live with chronic back pain and had a holistic approach to solving the problem. Well, it wasn't the spa I was dreaming of, but it sure sounded like what I needed. After only one visit Patrick identified the root causes of my back pain and helped me understand why the Physical Therapist's approach not only wasn't helping the problem, but was making it worse. With Patrick's thoughtful guidance, I feel I am finally on the real road to recovery. I have a new Physical Therapist, I am caring for myself in ways that promote overall healing and we are all working toward correcting the muscular skeletal imbalances that are causing my back problems.
