The process of purchasing our car in July was simple and aside from declining typical upselling attempts, it was easy. However, follow up is horrible post sale. We left 3 voicemails to follow up on our expiring temporary tags with no return call. After an email to the GM, we received a snarky voicemail from Crystal about how she did her job correctly. (And no direct reply from GM) After contacting our county clerk to further investigate, we discovered that they had also not had a phone call returned to correct an error the dealership made on the registration, in addition to submitting insufficient payment. Now we get to go to the clerk in person, make the correction ourselves, and pay the difference in fees. read more

Do NOT ever purchase an extended warranty from Wolfchase if you sell your vehicle they will not honor a refund of the unused portion of the warranty which they claim they do and I think are legally responsible for. Next complaint will be Yelp, Facebook, BBB.. CROOKS!!!! read more

I had the opportunity to purchase the new Genesis GV70 from this dealership. I will say the finance team deserves serious kudos for their exemplary customer service and efficiency, but that is the full extent of my positive feedback. I wanted to venture into the luxury car market and after research determined the GV70 was for me. I had a pleasant test drive and with my advanced due diligence, I was able to make a rapid choice. I initially had a positive impression of my salesperson. As woman consumer, you become accustomed to some finessing in the car buying experience. I did deal with some degree of haggling regarding a down payment, however, I was able to secure on site financing in addition to entering with a prequalification. After the financing and paperwork was complete, I was informed I would need to return several hours later to allow for inspection and detailing of the car. I was amenable and returned 4 hours after the deal to retrieve the vehicle and did a cursory walk around of the vehicle. Despite the car been kept for "detailing", there were numerous areas where plastic, tags, adhesive residue, and unnecessary stickers were left in the vehicle. The next morning, I discovered a gouge in the paint and immediately contacted my salesperson to pursue remedy. It took him 3 days to respond. It was eventually (another 2 weeks) escalated and a sales manager reached out. They offered me an exchange rather than a repair--yes, another vehicle instead of paint repair, however, the exchange was of lesser value, was not as well equipped, and would require another finance process and hard inquiry. The feedback I got from the dealer when I alerted them to the difference in value in amenities was, "Well, the note would be much lower." I declined as the car I initially purchased was done so with intent, not concern over price or my ability to afford. Genesis Customer Care did provide a $250 gift card. However, an estimate to achieve a quality paint repair was in excess of $1200. I called and left a message with the general manager that has to this day gone unreturned. This luxury car buying experience has been anything but. The customer service and attention is severely lacking. There has been no service recovery in subsequent interactions as it is impossible to get a service agent on line even when following up on recalls and the concierge they presented as a benefit to Genesis customers is even less responsive than calling the Service Department directly. While I love the care, I will never purchase from this dealer again, never recommend them, and will certainly identify another dealership for service needs going forward. read more

Unfortunately in the current Covid conditions we are all suffering in , there are some businesses that have adopted reprehensible practices much like what you would expect if Hell were in the car sales business. This dealership is price gouging padding sticker "plus" adding thousands of dollars to the price. To add insult they try high pressure tactics telling me there is someone else ready to sign if I do not want the car. I leave only to see the car there the following day. I originally bought my Infiniti from this dealership and purchased the extended warranty from a WONDERFUL woman named Shannon. She was AWESOME in every sense of the word although she is no longer there. Every time I return for service Matt takes care of me. One time I had an issue with the wait time when I had an appt. scheduled and the service manager, Keith, took the time out to have a conversation with me and make it right. I really appreciate Matt always taking such good care of me and I probably wouldn't return for service if it wasn't for him. Wolfchase Hyundai did the right thing. I'm still not happy with the car itself or even the brand but at least the dealership fixed most of the problems below. I bought a used Veracruz in August 2015 and I have had nothing but problems with the vehicle and the dealership. First they sold me a vehicle that battery died 3 days after I bought it, then a day later the door handle broke, 1 year later the same door handle broke, I was told it had new tires at time of purchase and I find out today the tires were almost 2 years old when I bought the car. And now right after paying $500 for 4 new tires... I get pulled over for expired tags... come to find out the registration the dealership gave me does not match the tag they put on my car and oh by the way they only registered my vehicle for 6 months. Oh and 4 months ago the door locks broke... If I could get rid of this car I would! The Veracruz is made cheaply. Make sure if you are going to buy a Hyundai especially a used one to get it checked out first. read more

I have visited every department in Wolfchase Hyundai and am happy to return for service and parts. I like being able to schedule service appointments and the hold time is usually short unless you call in the late afternoons. The work is good and the service writers are prompt, friendly, and organized. They are able to discuss anything with the car in simple terms and are able to give you a pretty accurate estimate on repair times and costs. Some drawbacks however is that when you visit the dealership, there is no front desk reception and there is no one who will warmly greet you unless it is a salesperson or someone walking around with a name tag. I think this is a drawback because I needed the finance department and the wait was very long, and in fact, I never met with anyone after an hour and a half. This is avoided usually when there is someone who coordinates people who walk into the building. The seating area in the showroom floor is nice but limited. The waiting area however for the service department is very nice, spacious, and clean. At any rate, you will easily get someone friendly to buy a car from and you will have hassle free service performed on your vehicle while you wait. I bought my car here and would plan to buy again from them. Just pack your patience if you need to see someone other than service or parts. read more

Hyundai's (service system) will nickel & dime you for EVERYTHING. I've always hated coming here for service since the day I ever needed it. When I got this car 3 1/2 years ago, It had a partial bumper to bumper, but I also requested the extended warrenty, that covered all major car parts. So that I would have less worry, about huge of out-of-pocket expenses. Unfortunately, I received a warrenty that did not cover the $656.00 starter/labor, etc., they recently charged me for... which is only good for 12 month warrenty by the way. Then had the nerve to give me this so-called Courtesy car wash, (meaning they just didn't bother to wash it at all because it was "raining" when I picked it up) which still had mud all around the tire, and the back sides of my car. Also I always thought it was funny how the machine can tell you what's wrong with your vehicle when it actually stops working. But it won't tell you what's about to go wrong/go bad in the future. Especially if it's something that's covered under the warranty. I know.. I know..you won't make any money that way right? One thing for certain two things for sure. I am not that "naive woman" that don't have common sense (like most people think we women are) when it comes to vehicles and especially when it comes to treating a person/ customer how they ought to be treated. But I am that woman who weighed her options and for the first time had to lose $656 dollars to the dealership as an unfortunate result. But I know that God will take care of everything. Because I've been watching a lot of businesses fail. Partially for reaping the bad seeds that they've sewn (getting over/mistreating people). Once I get rid of this vehicle, it'll be Landers Ford, Nissan, Toyota, or Honda, instead. AND BTW IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET PULLED OVER BY THE COPS EVERY OTHER WEEK/SLICK BEING MADE FEEL LIKE A CRIMINAL BECAUSE YOU ONE WEEK HAVE A "TAIL LIGHT OUT.... Purchasing my 2022 Santa Cruz was a genuinely thrilling experience, made so by Aaliyah and the wonderful staff at the dealership. Yes, I said thrilling, as I have zero regrets or second guessing on the purchase, which is more than I can say for many other large purchases, including my last vehicle (i.e. it wasn't a Hyundai, existing vehicle was practically dead on the lot back then, and credit and finances were way different too). I had done a fairly considerable amount of research on the model in advance of my visit; it's what I wanted going in, but I needed to see if it would be a good fit (physically), furthermore, I was familiar with the trim variants, but hadn't mapped out costs and my full capacity. I just came in with monthly payment threshold in mind. Aaliyah let me take point and drive the conversation (and the vehicle:). She was very attentive, answering my questions and following up as needed. I found it to be quality salesmanship, neither pushy, nor too lax. Plenty of people harp on the former in their car buying experiences, but for me the latter was very telling, and in a good way. I am happy to admit that I don't know what I don't know, and Aaliyah was very good at picking up on points or queries that I was emphasizing in our conversation and offered appropriate recommendations when applicable. It could have been used as an opportunity to try and sell me every option and perk available regardless of utility to my needs and circumstances, or she could have let me "go through checkout" without advising me of pertinent options, variables, services, etc.. As someone who did a fair amount of research ahead of time on the vehicle itself, but is hardly experienced in the buying process (this only my third vehicle in 18 years- second purchased), I appreciated this more nuanced approach and that my agent/ consultant would put in the same degree work for me. I bought a car here and registered it out of state. They overcharged me for registration fees by $580 and was sent a refund check back from the state of Florida. 5 months later and they never notified me to give me a refund and are dodging my calls for the last week after i confirmed with Florida that the dealership cashed my refund check. Every time I call, everyone goes straight to voicemail or tells me "dont involve too many people." Super sketchy and super unethical to not notify a customer of their mistake. read more

Two service visits in a row now, I've dealt with dishonesty in the service department. In March, they tried to sell my wife on new front pads/rotors at 41k miles and she still had plenty of pad left. We questioned it and they said it was measurements from another vehicle and they were sorry. Today, I go in for oil and tires rotated. I declined the ethanol treatment. Wife picks up car and I have a bill that includes ethanol treatment and new cabin/engine air filters. I'm not debating that they may have needed replaced, but they were without discussing it. I can replace filters. The filters were never recommended or agreed upon. And we just purchased our 3rd vehicle from there in the last 5 years. Continued dishonesty in their service department is going to affect future sales. read more

I was dealing with David Fulton on 2005 Hummer and ask him to send pictures of any damage or blemishes inside or out. I requested this because I live 200 miles away but was traveling to Memphis at Christmas. I'll include pictures of text he sent. The deal went south when they gave me a 7% interest rate on a loan, my credit score is 850. After objecting and saying I'll get my own financing they informed me the price quoted would now be $750 more if they didn't let them finace. I went to the dealer today while in Memphis to view the Hummer the I was told was in great condition with only a few dings in the driver side. They're a typical car dealer, liars. The Hummer was a piece of crap with nail polish, marker and other stuff on the back seats and back of the front seats. Scratches all over on the exterior along with a huge paint chip on the right front, partial flat tire, glove box scratched beyond belief. Also the roof leaks around the grab handle on passenger side, headliner was wet. I checked this because I had owned a 2007 Hummer that had the same problem. I'll include pictures. I'm glad I didn't make a special trip based on their word of condition of vehicle. read more

Be careful with the service department. My wife went in for an oil change and spent $350 on a car that is a year old. They charge 25 dollars just to put on "20 dollar" air filter that I can get from Autozone for $12.99. I'm not going into the list of charges but don't be afraid to get the list and say no. I bought a used Hyundai Sonata Sport from the folks next door. This is a great car and my third Hyundai. I needed to update the maps and the only way to do that is to register the car at MyHyundai.com. I tried to do that and it was already registered to the prior owner. Well, after some time on their website, I found out I could send in a BUNCH of paperwork and wait 2-3 days or just go to the dealership. I called and was told just to bring it in during service dept. hours and they would hook me up. Well, I went in on Saturday and the woman I needed to see only works M-F. I got her name and number and called Monday. She's on vacation this week. I left a voice mail for her boss. He's out too. I called back and got hold of someone named Shannon. She is wonderful. She spent 30 minutes or so on the phone with me and not only got me registered, but got me a 3 month free trial to their upgraded package on MyHyundai.com. She went above and beyond. Later, she called me back to follow up and make sure I got on the website and everything was as expected. If I could hire her away from Wolfchase Hyundai or at least give her a raise, I would in a minute. read more

They only took off with the jeep and floored it down the highway. I'm sure they probably knew they couldn't offer what it was worth but still, just say that. Bought a 2016 closeout. Simple cash deal. They spent the whole time emphasizing how they needed us to give them a good review. The price included a pinstripe as part of the deal. They take the afternoon doing that and the prep. Came back to pick it up-no pinstripe. "Please don't count this against the sales review." OK, sure. So the temp tag expires a month later and I call about the plate.Nothing. So I come in to talk- they have to get the manager. Sorry, cash sales don't include the license fee. TT&L - isn't the L license???? Up to that point the whole conversation was they were ordering the plates.They said if I wrote a check they'd order the tags. I was pissed. I told them to get me the paperwork and I'd take care of it. No wonder they were worried about the review. I haven't been back. Car is fine. no complaints there. read more

Use caution when buying here. Their online posted "no hassle" prices do not include a list of added addendum prices that total $1000 to $2000 or more. In the case of the vehicle I was looking at these addons included $499 for interior and exterior "protectants", $199 for a pinstripe that didn't exist, $399 for a set of all weather floor mats(Hyundai was already charging $155 for carpeted ones), and $499 for some mud guards which are listed at less than half that price on the Hyundai website. I spoke with finance manager who told me he could give me payoff for my trade in, but through further discussion it turned out he was actually willing to give me $1500 less than payoff while taking the difference from the "no hassle" discount. When I questioned him he told me that it was the bottom line that mattered and it didn't matter how we got there. Seems kind of sketchy to me. Needless to say I purchased elsewhere. I emailed the general manager about my concerns but I have not received a response. read more
