Avoid this business, Shuey Custom, at all costs. I sent in an expensive 1911 pistol for some work which was to take up to 45 days to complete, because of some other jobs that were ahead of me.
I agreed to that, but more than nine months later I have not yet received my pistol, and cannot find out what the status is. I think I will never see that pistol again. There is no excuse for this, and I heard quite a few, up until the owner stopped communicating with me altogether.
I can live with bad customer service sometimes, such as in a retail store with lazy teenagers as employees, but in the firearms industry where all of us shooters have come to expect professionlism, this rock-bottom level of accountability is unacceptable. read more
