It took a few weeks but I was given a proper quote and explained the process which all seems very professional to me and prices were fair and in line with other quotes I had gotten at the same time since I reached out to a few jewelers. I've attended one of their piercing parties and bought some beautiful jewelry to go with a second hole I had wanted for a while. It was a fun experience at their partner location for the event, The Parlor Room. They're right across the parking lot from Whiskey River Tattoo and usually have a piercer from there attend and you can go there for piercing care and advise if you have issues so it's nice they're so close. I stopped in the store for the first time last week while in Red Mill and, although it's small, they had a lot of beautiful and quality diamond and gold jewelry on one side and some cheaper options on the other side. I was greeted by a friendly sales associate and spoke to her for a while.

I wanted to engrave his name and years of service onto the mug and after searching for a shop that can do it, I was finally referred to Nunez by one of the shop keepers on Little Creek Base. I drove to Nunez and showed them the mug and exactly what I wanted and they said sure no problem. 24 hours and they gave me a quote of about $70, which was a great deal considering the short notice; I needed the mug done for the retirement party which was in two days. The next afternoon, after work, I went to pick up the mug. The finished product was perfect! Great job done by the owner of this small family run business!

This spot has been here forever. I grew up getting my jewelry fixed here…read more So when I was traveling back to Va beach from Las Vegas last week to visit, a chain my grandparents gave me from Greece happened to have the clasp break. I took it to another place that was down the street from where I was staying (Jewelry Plus on general booth behind the new Bojangles being built) and the guy was kind enough to tell me it was the spring in the clasp, but when I asked him about having it fixed quickly, he told me he was 2 weeks behind on everything. When I said, okay, who do you recommend? He went off on a tangent about how he was the best and everyone brings everything to him, even other jewelers. And since he's backed up, everyone is..... I said okay. Left and then asked my friend to run me over to Choi's. Walked in, explained what I needed and how I would pay whatever to get it fixed, I didn't need a new spring, I just wanted it fixed The kid at the counter was super helpful. Looked at my chain. Mentioned how it was 14k. Then showed me 14k clasps, as well as 10k clasps if I wanted a cheaper option. Told him I wanted the 14k one, and the kind old man stopped what he was doing, and replaced the clasp in 15 minutes. They've been there for me for at least 30 years. They've been at Lynnhaven as long as I can remember riding a bike there. This is the best non-flashy very experienced jewelry store that everyone should bring their stuff to. Not like these other guys who think highly of themselves but don't have customer service skills.

March 4 2023 Back in December 2022, I contacted this jewelry store specifically to order a designer…read morering by Steven Douglas, who is my favorite designer. Long Jewelers was very prompt in providing a quote which I appreciated. I was interested in the cherub angel ring, which is actually discontinued now, but Steven Douglas himself created my ring from his archives. I was pleased with Haley at the jewelry store who I worked with via email. The ring took a little bit over six weeks to create due to the Garnet needing to be sourced. It was well worth the wait and even more beautiful than I could have imagined. An appraisal was even provided. I have been wanting this ring for probably 15 years. Over the years, I've noticed it's becoming harder and harder to find, so this was the year I decided to splurge. This particular ring is available in sterling, silver, and also solid gold with the heart being solid gold as well. What made me fall in love with this ring is the contrast of the white gold crown with diamonds and also the beautiful deep cabochon Garnet heart that really makes the ring so special and unforgettable. I thank everyone at Long jewelers who assisted in obtaining this gorgeous ring for me and also, I will tell you that I quoted this ring from several jewelry stores and Long Jewelers - Virginia beat everyone else's price. The ring is by no means inexpensive, so it pays to shop around, and there are only so many Steven Douglas dealers who can provide this beautiful ring.

To reset the diamond on my 1930s engagement rings isn't a job for everyone - the man who did the ring clearly knew his jewelry and I felt comfortable with him fixing the ring. To reset the diamond cost $25. The diamond was reset on the spot. The gold necklace/chain needed to be relinked and this had to be kept for a few weeks. To fix the small chain it cost $15. The links were extremely small so I was super impressed that they were even able to fix it. The customer service here is great - whether you're on the phone with them or face to face. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because my chain was kept a week longer than promised. In the future I will be fixing all of my jewelry here.

They previously were associated. But the different Websites & commercials run on Hulu by the VB Boulevard store leads me to believe that they're now separate businesses. Jim is our longtime contact at the business. He's made fantastic recommendations over the years, that were tailored to my taste. When my late husband decided to upgrade my engagement & wedding ring we chose beautiful diamonds with Jim's assistance. The ring was purposefully left without the center stone. Jim then brought out a choice of fine diamonds of different shapes & sizes. I was able to choose the one that fit my taste & finger/hand shape, I couldn't have been happier with the final product. One benefit of choosing fine diamonds is that their value only increases over time. And you can be certain that you're receiving quality stones at Long Jewelers by the Bay.
