Rest in heaven our princess Zoey.
Amie Y.

Had to make a painful decision on a short notice and this team was very responsive. They were able to help us book an appointment for the same night. Dr. Gonzales was beyond amazing. She was very compassionate and took her time explaining the steps to us over and over. We had moments of hesitation but we knew it was for the best and she helped comfort us before she got started. She made sure our princess was comfortable until the very end. Thank you Gemcore team and Dr. Gonzales.

I went on Yelp and called several vets. The veterinarian with Gemcore is the only one who answered. I'm so sorry I can't even remember her name because everything happened so quickly and it's all such a blur, but she answered my call at almost 10:00 p.m. while she was driving, when no one else answered. The last thing you want when your fur baby is suffering is to reach voicemail after voicemail. Hearing a compassionate human voice on the other end of the phone brought me so much comfort. She came to my home first thing the next morning. I was worried about my younger Golden Retriever jumping on her or interfering with her care, but she was absolutely wonderful with both of my dogs. She encouraged him to stay in the room with us once he was comfortable with her, and I truly believe that helped him understand what was happening. She was incredibly professional, but I'll never forget one small moment. Out of the corner of my eye, while I was saying my final words and paying my last tributes to my girl, I saw her quietly wiping tears from her eyes. As a healthcare provider myself, I know how often we're expected to wear a mask and stay composed. Seeing that genuine emotion didn't make her seem less professional, it reassured me that she truly cared. In those final moments, your mind races. You question whether you're making the right decision. Seeing her emotion gave me peace because I knew she wasn't simply going through the motions. I knew that if she believed my girl wasn't ready, she would have told me. Most of us are fortunate enough to experience this kind of heartbreak only a few times in our lives. She carries families through it over and over again. That takes an incredible amount of compassion. Thank you for your kindness, your empathy, and for helping my sweet Lilo leave this world peacefully and with dignity. Please take care of yourself, too. The first photo is the day Oliver met Lilo as a puppy, their first photo together. The second was taken just before the veterinarian arrived to help Lilo pass. I didn't realize until later that I had unknowingly captured both the beginning and the end of their story together I will miss my Lilo for eternity.

These people made all the difference on one of the saddest days of my life. After making the horrible decision to let our almost 16 year old little girl cross over the rainbow bridge, a friend recommended their services after having experienced letting his kitty cross over. Both vets were so caring and supportive. They explained everything with the process, the effect it would have and treated my baby with the most loving care. I was an absolute emotional wreck and they were so kind and patient with me and my husband. They also helped make sure our other dog was present in a way to make her understand her sissy was gone. I can't recommend at home euthanasia and these wonderful folks highly enough. They help make those last heartbreaking minutes a dignified and peaceful send off.

We love you always Kiba. Feb 2007 to August 2025

I called Gemcore multiple times that I annoyed myself. I canceled Kiba's home euthanasia because I thought he was good and we could manage his issues. But then he started to decline. Our 18 and a half year old companion and little love of our lives, was losing steam. I thought I could push the appt out and stretch out my time with our senior yorkie but as the days passed, everything became more difficult for him so I called and rescheduled and rescheduled. They were always pleasant and accommodating. They never gave me a hard time. Finally, Dr Gonzalez came over and helped our Kiba transition. She was caring, respectful, kind and walked us through the entire process. Our Kiba passed peacefully in the arms of my husband and with a very heart broken mama by his side. For a very difficult decision to make and in a time of grief, I am so thankful I chose Gemcore and Dr Gonzalez. I definitely recommend this compassionate veterinarian who offers a wonderful way to say goodbye. We have loved Kiba for over 18 years and this was a fitting way to let him rest. I ugly cry every 5 minutes but I know he's on to his biggest adventure of all.

Our beloved Katsu. Thank you Gemcore for giving him a peaceful transition. We love you Katsu!!!

Dr. Gonzalez and Gemcore were amazing and made a difficult decision very peaceful. Everyone is extremely sensitive and professional. Thank you Dr. Gonzalez. We look forward to getting our baby's ashes home. Rest easy good boy, Nacho. 4/2/26

This review is long overdue. Our beloved corgi with DM was getting to the end of her life. Since a pup she absolutely hated going to the vet. We decided that when the day would come we would let her pass at home in our arms surrounded by all the thing she loved. It was the least we could do for our baby girl. Well that day came quick and her health declined rapidly. I came on to Yelp and saw the reviews and was sold. I cannot stress enough how compassionate, gentle and professional the Dr was. Our darling Penny passed in our presence and in her home with dignity and love. I've since then any chance I get I recommend Gemcore. Thank you so much for helping our suffering girl make that transition. We are forever grateful.

Despite arriving about an hour and a half later than our scheduled time, Gemcore Veterinary Services still provided truly great service during one of the hardest moments of our lives. Dr. Gonzalez was incredibly professional, patient, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain every step of the euthanasia and made sure we felt supported and understood. Her calm presence brought us comfort during an emotionally overwhelming experience. Most importantly, my doggie crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully and with dignity. For that, I will always be grateful.

How we will always remember our sweet boy Riggins.
Houston G.

We had to make the incredibly difficult decision to let our sweet boy go. Dr. Gonzalez was very respectful and empathetic and walked us through the process from beginning to end. At no point did we feel rushed or unsure of what was happening. Our boy, Riggins, experienced no stress or fear and was given the peaceful transition he deserved. We can't thank Dr. Gonzalez and Gemcore enough for making an unimaginably difficult and sad process as smooth as it possibly could be.

Had to say see you later to our family dog who I adopted back in 2012. He was dealing with multiple ailments, the last of which was vestibular disease which caused severely weakened back legs. It was painful seeing him go through this. Dr. Gonzalez was compassionate, heartfelt and kind when she arrived, understanding that it is never an easy decision to let your pet go. She was amazing throughout the entire process and they treated my dog with respect. She was even kind enough to drive out of her usual region that she visits. Highly recommend her for anyone looking. Love you my sweet boy, I'll see you again.

Ariel was God sent to me. The way Ariel memorialized my little sassy girl Cutie was more than I could ever imagined! Ariel engraved all four of her paw prints in a heart shaped terracotta stone along with her tail which gave it that extra special unique touch. The ability to feel her feet and hands by tracing my fingers along each anatomical groove brings a smile to my face. Cutie would often times take her front paw and wrap it around my finger and now I can replicate that feeling over and over thanks to you Ariel. Ariel inked my Cutie's paws, nose and whiskers too! When I saw the prints it brought me back to when I use to touch her nose and she would look at me and I could just feel her smiling at me with her eyes. Ariel made me a special ink design with Cutie's tail curved forming a half heart with her back paw in the middle. I don't have tattoos but if I were to ever get one this would be perfect! Ariel created so many personal touches for Cutie's send off to heaven that she had me crying tears of joy. I'm confident in saying my little sassy girl Cutie knew she was so loved not only here on earth but in heaven. Hi Jeanette, Sunnie and the Peaceful Pets Family-…read more I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you did for our family today. Saying goodbye to Ace was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do, and you and Sunnie made it as peaceful and loving as it could possibly be. The way you cared for him--and for all of us--meant more than I can put into words. You took the time to talk with us and our kids. You explained everything in a way that made sense and bought calm. You made our children feel safe and supported no matter what they were feeling. That meant everything to us. You gave us space and time to say goodbye to our good boy in a way that was meaningful and kind. And the little touches... the blanket under his head, the pets and love you gave, the fur you kept and boxed for our children, the invitation for our kids to write a letter that will be with him forever, the calm and warmth you created--it didn't feel clinical, it felt like family. You gave us a moment we'll always be grateful for in the middle of so much heartbreak. Thank you for the love, compassion, and dignity you gave Ace and our whole family today. I really REALLY miss Shiloh, but I'm glad we said goodbye to him in the best way possible considering the circumstances. And it was all thanks to Dr. Yamamoto and her team. They walked me and my family through the entire process, gave us time to grieve, and even had us share our favorite moments with him- as if in a way to honor and celebrate his presence in our lives. Their sensitivity in that time helped us focus on giving as much love to Shiloh as we could before, during, and after the procedure. While no loving pet owner would ever want to say goodbye to their companion, Peaceful Pets Services provides a way for our loved one(s) to share their final moments with their family in an environment that they are the most comfortable in. We love and miss you, Shiloh!
