I have never did eyelash extensions and I was very nervous. I saw that Gem iLash was fairly new and I thought I would give them a try. I was right, they had only been open a month and when I called to inquire, Chloe was there to answer all my questions. The salon itself is gorgeous AND spotless. Chloe sat with me for a 15 minute consultation with me prior too to get a feel of what I wanted out of my lashes. Very important: she did not upsell me in the slightest. In fact, quite the opposite. Being this was my first time, she encouraged me to go very basic. We went over everything from lash length to curl and even how they were to be placed. After the consultation, we went to the back room where there was a line of beds. Again, everything looked pristine! Chloe also applied my lashes and she was so gentle. It was actually very relaxing to the point I think I fell asleep. Guess who is making lash extensions a part of their regular routine. Thanks Gem iLash. So gentle! I ran in here last minute to get my lashes removed without an appointment and they were kind enough to take me. The tech was so gentle i didn't feel a thing! The space itself was huge and so clean. the beds were very comfortable with soft fluffy blankets. i was starting to fall asleep how relaxed i was. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the woman at the front. She answered my questions about parking and offered me a seat. Parking side note: there are meters in front of the store, but they do not work, and parking is free there. They also have a lot in the back, which I did not go see, since I found a spot in the front. After sitting, another woman came and sat with me and gave what she described as a consultation. She showed me pictures and lashes, but I did not get a trying-hard-to-up-sell vibe from her, which was a breath of fresh air from my most recent nightmare lash experience. This was the first place that I saw offered more than the standard 2 types of lash quality (e.g., mink and premium). I got the human hair one (top of the line) because it was sooo soft and only $20 more! After my consultation, they brought me back to their HUGE lash application section with comfy beds. They ask you to take off your shoes (to keep the bed clean) and almost tuck you in as if you're going to bed lol they know lash time is nap time. The lashes were applied so gently, and they look great Finally, their bathroom is cute and everything smelled so good (that says a lot for a bathroom)! The place is very professional. I get concerned about going to any place especially when it dealing with your eyes. I research several spots in Nassau and Suffolk but say this location had the most highest reviews with the largest amount of reviewers. I made an appointment they provide price range over phone. They send a nice text message reminder. I arrived 15 mins for a consultation with Khloe. She went thru all the packages and types of lashes. I picked a more natural look but they have several levels. Once I choose we step into back into a very spacious and clean room with possible 5-6 beds and several technicians. They safely secured your property in a basket under your bed. You get into the bed they cover you and that's it. Took like 45-50 mins for 90 pieces. I was impressed they looked beautiful, natural and super light. No discomfort at all with human hair. The prices were fantastic only $90. I will follow up with how they wash but on there on they look fantastic. I highly recommend! read more

First time visitors: they take their time with a consultation. Going over lash types, curl, length, etc. There are complimentary drinks and the salon is very clean. The actual lash extension process is very calming - I fall asleep every time. They do a great job here, i have excessively oily skin so I was concerned with lashes not lasting. They use just the right amount of glue and when I return for fill ins every 3 weeks my lashes still look good. Don't hesitate - try them out!! read more
