I just got back from getting my eyebrows done. She had the worst attitude and rushed through the entire service. This salon used to be good now the past two times I went my brows were botched and unfinished. I was loyal to this place for more than 6 years. After my visit today I'm never going back. They didn't clean up the rest of my hairs near my brows and left a bald gap in my sisters eyebrows. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. There is a better one further on old country road. read more

I went here on a spur of the moment kind of thing. I parked my car in the parking lot situated dead center in front of the eyelash parlor. It was just staring at me. I ordered some food before parking from a store a few doors down, picked it up and dropped it off to my car Before I even stepped foot outside my car, I decided to do a little research to see what the reviews said. They were pretty good, so I was a bit more confident in my choice to proceeded to get my eyebrows threaded. The establishment is "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" "just right" in size; not too big and not too small. The lady who did my eyebrows moved so quickly in doing them, that I was getting the feeling that my eyebrows were going to look horrid because surely, one cannot do an impressive job if they're moving so fast....right? I'm glad to say that I was wrong and pleasantly surprised at the outcome. My eyebrows almost looked like twins. I would definitely consider stopping by again if I can convince myself that I'm not cheating on my eyebrow lady because in my experience, a good eyebrow place is hard to come by. This is the correct location I inadvertently did a review for another threading place close by. I was in the area and saw the $4.99 eyebrow threading deal. Not my usual place. I showed the lady a pic of how I like my eyebrows. I also asked that she not take off hair from the top of my left eyebrow because I have a natural arch and raised eyebrow on the right. I also asked for her not to take off hair on the ends because they're thinning out. It wasn't a complete disaster but didn't get what I asked for. A month later still waiting for them to grow back properly. Lesson learned somethings you shouldn't cut corners on. read more

She was on the phone so again I waited. No biggie. She said something to me and pointed to the back. I couldn't understand what she said. Assumed she was saying that the person she had been working on is still here, in the back so I should wait. No worries. Wait a few more minutes and nothing happens. She's still on the phone. Eventually she said something else to me which I couldn't understand so I said "excuse me?" She says "bathroom door. You have to close". Never been so dissatisfied after getting waxed. Went to this place only bc nyc phase 3 hadn't started and my mom recommended them but she only does her eyebrows. Made an appointment for full legs, arms, underarm, and Brazilian. Apparently it takes two ppl to do a full body wax... that was a first. I came out of the room bruised!!!!! Then they said oh your skin is very sensitive. I've been waxing for 5 years and NEVER has I gotten bruised so it's not my skin it's their wax and no skills. I usually get watery eyes, but I didn't with her. My eyebrows get really red or swollen and with her they didn't get red as they usually do. The place is also clean. read more

I only come here for emergencies when I can't travel to queens to get my eyebrows done / face threaded or waxed. Although the shape of my eyebrows do come out nice, I've had wax before on my face and she burned me. Left marks for a while. Every person who works there manages to leave cuts on my face when threaded too. And it's not because my skin is sensitive because I always get it done at my regular place and that never happens.
