So I have been coming to Charming Lash for a few months now. And my honest assessment as a frequent customer is that they really need to change their prices. The prices are high then they say they have to charge you 5% when using your card and then you have to kindly tip ... it's like come on why am I spending $200 on a new set -3D lashes/$100 for a 2wk refill. Refill prices are just as ridiculous too. And the price they try to charge for the difference between synthetic or mink lash is ridiculous now we all know you are not buying the lashes that expensive to charge that much. You are getting them imported on a great deal so stop it. I have been to locations in Manhattan that are half this price and just as good quality I just don't have the time to commute there. They need promotions/specials and a significant price drop. I get it applying lashes is time consuming and you want to get paid for you labor but it's too much ...they will seriously will be losing customers especially post covid if they don't change these prices. At a time when people are prioritizing and truly seeing what matters and is important, it makes this expense just seem superfluous. I have been going to the lash tech Luna and she is very friendly and great ! Tried a new set and this was the breakdown: $120, Charming Set add$30 for mink=$150 then 5% for using my card 157.50. Then tip=167.50

While the promotion of being a first time customer is good, I was unfortunate to get a technician that was also working the cash register. She kept on stopping and going back to the register. A lot of people paid in cash and she didnt wash her hands in between doing my lashes and collecting cash. I felt kind of grossed out about that. After a while her hands were clamy. There was no AC even though it was a really hot day. The lashes came out okay but they only lasted a week and a half and started falling out a lot, which for the price they charge (without the promotion) I dont think its worht it. Had no idea what a difference a different glue can make on an eyelash extension experience! Tried again and my eyes feel like a brand new refreshing experience. The staff truly is so nice and this is such a nice salon. My eyelashes really look so pretty too!

Kind of stumbled upon this place and called to book an appt, I booked for today at one it was easy to make appt and got a confirmation via text. I showed up a little earlier and discussed what I was looking for and the pricing and what not. Lady was nice and I didn't feel pressured into choosing. I honestly was willing to spend whatever I just wanted my lashes done right and last a while. The lady I had was super nice I don't know her name. I think she did an excellent job and you can tell she was struggling with the left eye a little because I literally have zero lashes there. However with that obstacle it didn't seem to be a issue bc my lashes look stunning! Update her name is Jasmine! Super sweet and very talented. I love her doing my lashes I request her!

I have been getting my lashes done here for quite sometime now. I have gone to other establishments for the sake of convenience, but I find myself always returning for the professionalism and quality and workmanship. The service and quality is always consistent. There is the change of technicians that may happen from time to time but that is the nature of operating a small business. What's impressive is the quality and service is consistently of high standard! I have always been satisfied with the results. They prioritize customer satisfaction. I absolutely LOVE Leann and my lashes every time I go to her. I first started getting eyelash extensions from around 2015 and have tried a few different places until I found Leann. I would drive out of my way just to see Leann because I only trusted her. 1.5 years ago, I moved to Austin, TX and have tried multiple studios but have yet to find someone as good as Leann. I came back to visit NYC and decided to see her new shop and nothing has changed!! She is not only FAST but the quality is amazing. My lashes always last at least 3-4 weeks and it's so much more affordable than the studios in Texas. I'm sad that I don't have access to Leann more readily but I highly recommend her to anyone !! She is WORTH the drive or commute !! Not only that, she is so sweet and won't harm your natural lashes. She's honest with me and let's me know when I may need to take a break from extensions as well. Came here for the first time. I went to Esa as recommended. This was my first time doing lashes as well so I was already very skeptical. The woman at the front, though very nice, was not very helpful in giving me suggestions for a natural look. Like I said this was my very first time getting my lashes done and I wanted to make sure I kept a very natural look, nothing too over board but I also didn't want my lashes to look the same way I walked in. Anyways she suggested size length 8/9. Esa, very nice too, also didn't have much to say besides going by what the woman wrote on the receipt. Fast forward, an hour later, my lashes are done, check the mirror, my lashes look blah. So they add some size 10's, now they look like something. Honestly though this place is very well kept, there's only about 5/6 stations. Atmosphere is very peaceful, but it's just not worth the $80 (1/2 off for first time customers). I'll wait for these to fall off and go back to using mascara. read more

They are professional and honest!!! I got my lashes removed here. I was not happy at all with the place I was going to. So I looked on yelp and saw they had a discount on here and on Groupon. The Groupon discount is awesome. Skeptical as I am- I went in to have them look at my lashes. They charged my a fair fee $10 to remove the little amount I had left. The technician was very honest and told me to wait to have lashes added on again. My natural ones were weakened and needed time. She applied some serum and told me if I had some at home to use that. I also saw other women leave with amazing looking lashes!! She also gave instructions how to properly care for them. She didn't even try to "up-sell me" like most places would!!! Almost anywhere else they would have just added lashes or pushed to sell the serum. I will absolutely come back after my lashes have time to heal. I might even go back and buy the serum they have there because I looked it up and looks great. read more

A person of color be wary. One of the "greeters" is a rude/ not welcoming. I've been going there, but it's evident that if your a person of color your are NOT greeted with the same enthusiasm as others. I thought that was sad. My lash technician was a sweetheart. There is another lash salon in the vicinity, I found them to be much more friendlier !! If that business treats you as if they are not excited that you chose their business, then maybe they do NOT deserve YOUR BUSINESS !! read more

I switched from glamour and lashes to charming lash in October. Lynn is amazing at her job and so are the other ladies who work here. Staff is so nice and my lashes always come out perfect. Anytime I want a fill in she always fits me in right away. My lashes always look perfect! read more

Charming Lash did a beautiful job on my lashes. Foolishly I went somewhere else for a fill-in and was butchered. There was so much glue I could barely blink and my eyes were in a lot of pain. Charming Lash kindly and carefully removed the horribly applied lashes and applied a new set to my much damaged natural lashes. The before and after is amazing. These ladies are the best and I won't go anywhere else again! read more

This is the second lash place I've tried. I had a bad experience a few months ago somewhere else and was apprehensive to ever get lash extensions again. But Charming Lash was different. They were so thorough and detailed with the types of lashes and styles they offered. Leann was super sweet and gentle, I fell asleep. I usually take my contacts out before getting lashes but Leann told me I could leave them in. And I was AMAZED my eyes didn't burn whatsoever once she was done. The salon was very clean also and everyone was so nice. I'll definitely be back in a few weeks for my fill in! read more

Love this place! I don't think I'll be going anywhere. They're a little on the pricey side but their service is absolutely impeccable. They're nice, the place is clean, they have calming music playing in the background, they take their time and they send 2-week text reminders. Went in to get an opinion on what they thought I should do. I was tires of wearing mascara to work every morning and I 'm always looking for the lazy way out when it comes to getting ready.The girl in the front was extremely nice and stunned by how long my eyelash were.she recommended I just do something natural since my lashes are already perfect.Added silk lashes for some Volume.loveee how they came out!so light and natural.No one has even realized they're extention everyone is commenting on how nice "my lahses"look read more

I called on Wednesday at 3pm for a next-day appointment, and they said only tomorrow 6:30pm is available which was Thursday. I took the appointment. When I showed up on Thursday at 6:30pm, the receptionist told me my appointment was "yesterday." wtf no, it was not. Then I see I was charged $45, I'm assuming it's the deposit. No one told me about a deposit being charged. They claim they don't charge you until the day of the appointment. Then they lied and said they called me. Like I don't have a call history on my phone. I never received a confirmation text and I did not receive a call. If you canceled my appointment to book some else that's messed up. I don't understand what games this location is playing but you lost a good paying customer. Then have the audacity to tell me book another day. No I can't I have a life and I work out of town. I only had this day available to try your services which now after this experience I don't want to anymore because I don't need to pay for a service then feel it will not happen on the day I'm available. I recently booked a classic set for a trip. Unfortunately, within the first few days I noticed an issue with the longevity of my lash extensions. Because I was away, I reached out to the business (via email), but was told that I can get faster responses via text message (however, the response time was equally as long)... When we were able to get in touch, I told them that my lashes are falling out, and I won't be back in town for a few days. They said they'd be able to book me a discounted "2 week refill" appointment for when I returned. When they offered me this, I expressed concern because I did NOT THINK THAT THERE WOULD BE ENOUGH eyelash extensions on my eye for the service to be considered a "REFILL" (because of how fast the lashes were coming out). Despite my concerns, the appointment was scheduled "as-is" -- without any additional time modifications. Fast-forward to my appointment to fix/re-fill my lashes: I was told that I "booked a '2 week refill', but there is not enough time to redo all of the lashes that fell out"because of the time constraint of the appointment. When I got up & looked in the mirror after my appointment I was upset. I understand that sometimes things happen when it comes to beauty services and can empathize with running a business, so I was willing to work with them... BUT when a situation that was avoidable presents itself, it is very frustrating. The longevity of the patchy set I that just got is pretty good. For reference, it was with a different lash tech than my original appointment. The lashes are still on, but I wish I would've had this experience with my lashes the first time around. I'm disappointed that the proper time wasn't allocated for me despite bringing this EXACT concern to their attention. Had I known that my lashes would look like this (have gaps/be patchy), I would've simply booked a removal. Overall, I would not recommend to a friend.

I didn't even have a regular specific technician, every 2 weeks a different lady would do my lashes and they always came out great. Leanne is amazing and makes sure clients are happy with their lashes, if not they make sure they get it right to make you happy. It's a beautiful and clean environment and my lashes always come out perfect however they need improvement with their customer service. They also lack consistency with their prices and sometimes they expect more than the actual price.
