We came to have pizza and watch football- the bar atmosphere was fun, the pizza was good, service was excellent. We will be back.

Favorite pizza place in NWI! The sauce is sweeter in taste, which I prefer. I've never had a pizza I didn't like at this location!

I liked this so much more than anticipated. Usually, pizza is just pizza. But I went to an event here and it was pretty fabulous. Not a bad private room for a larger get-together. Very attentive waitresses, considering the size of our group. And most importantly: good pizza. I love the thin crispy crust. Tons of fun toppings -- pesto? chicken alfredo? fresh veggies? Yes please!! It's nothing fancy but my family has been looking for a new takeout pizza and this is probably it. read more

I'm always happy to pick up a pizza from Gelsosomo's when I am traveling in this area. Although they aren't currently accepting online orders, it is easy to call in an order and pick up at the convenient drive up window. My favorite pizza is the Hawaiian Volcano. It has just the right amount of toppings and cheese, and the barbecue sauce is excellent. This pizza makes great leftovers, warm or cold. I always order enough pizza to ensure leftovers. read more

Really one of the best options for pizza in Crown Point. My only caveat is the 1/2 ingredients are the same price as having the item on the full pizza. Guess that this is how most places do that now. But still not a fan of that. Will not stop me from the occasional once a quarter pizza. read more

Ordered pizza for pickup via app--was sent to WRONG place (wanted to pick up in Crown Point/was sent to Schererville). $39 for a large veggie pizza *added onions and green pepper* the sauce was tomato paste, very sweet and not sauce at all and awful, SPINACH all over the pizza which we would have removed if we knew it was on there, counted exactly 5 pieces of onion in total-- all in all a lousy tasting, expensive pizza that was horrible. WILL NEVER RETURN. read more

Pizza was decent but NOT worth 50.00 , they are not some steak house. They just didn't make anything special, we ordered the extra lg bbq chicken pizza. We have been there and had pizza, the first one was worth the money. read more

This is a great location. They have bingo, singo. The pizzas are amazing the service is always good. I've never had bad service there. The bartenders are very courteous to their guests. read more

Order on line at 6:04 pm, after waiting for a one hour and a half I called to check on my order, the person that answer the phone said we're really busy!! Your pizza is on its way. Should be there in 10 minutes. We received the pizza at 8:26 pm, pizza was cold and hard as a rock.. horrible service read more

Fantastic pizza. I ordered an extra large at least once a week.. got to have my pizza fixed, and it takes care of that pizza craving. They never disappoint every time I order.. read more

Pizza is good every time we go but I do not recommend the Ham and Provolone sandwich for the price. It's 12 and some change and you literally get bread ( not bad tasting) 2 thin slices of ham and cheese. Also a handful of fries. The sandwich comes with no condiments. Plain. If it was half the price , it would be worth it I would say or if they doubled the meat atleast. read more

Best pizza around, good service, good prices , can't say one bad thing about this place, owner walks around at times

To begin our table attendant was great she did a fine job. We were there on July 8 at 2:30 PM and our pizza was terrible it was dry it was hard it appeared to be leftover from the day before. We did not complain at the time because we were in a hurry. But $45 for a medium sausage, mushroom and onion and two sodas is not acceptable. We will not return. read more

Pizza was excellent. Sauce was on spot. First time there took me a little bit how the drive through was set up. Overall was a good experience. read more

Years ago I had Gelsosomo's pizza and loved it. However, last Friday we ordered a pizza for takeout and were extremely disappointed. It appears that they ran out of sauce because while we saw some around the crust, there definitely didn't appear to be any going towards the middle. So essentially, we received a very dry pizza. Won't be back. read more

Awesome go there every month at least and never disappoints my family has gotten to love pizza not just from Gelsosomo's but everywhere The sauce is definitely the best along with there parm wings definitely 5/5 stars GO THERE NOW also the service is nice and kind read more

I had an old-fashioned to drink. It was pretty good, but they just use the generic Marchino cherries. The food was pretty good and came very fast. The place was packed, but I sat in the bar, but that didn't put me at the lowest ranking of the restaurant, which was nice. I didn't have to wait for food. It came out right away. read more

Ordered takeout. The pizza was doughy and undercooked. The taste was as if it had some sharp cheddar cheese. Chicken wings tasted over fried and dried out. I don't get the good reviews. read more

Went about 3:15 today looking forward to trying their pizza which is VERY pricey. Ordered a Bloody Mary which tasted like just the mix, husband ordered Starry which tasted like carbonated water. Waitress was supposed to go get him another one while we decided what we were going to order. She never came back. After approx. 25 minutes we said screw this. Went to the bar to see if we could pay so we could leave. Bartender had to go look for our waitress. The staff were all dressed like slobs. Tables not bussed, 10-15 minute wait on a Friday afternoon with pretty much an empty restaurant. The ONLY positive was the waitress did not charge us for our drinks. Will NOT be going back! read more

I would have given. 2.5 star, but since you can't do 1/2 stars, I went up to 3. Disappointing because the vibe seemed great walking in... nice and cool, clean, plenty of seating, good decor, etc. I was extremely disappointed in Gelsosomo's pizza, as I had heard it was pretty good. What a letdown. It seemed like there was very little cheese on, the sauce had a somewhat sour taste to it ... and to boot, the service was not great. I had to remind the waitress 3 times for my drink. And, it wasn't even busy when I was there (just a handful of people scattered). Another member of my party tried a pasta and also found it to be "just ok". Maybe it was just an off day, but I won't be going back to find out. read more

We discovered their Keto menu, and now it's our go to place. Tonight we got pizza bowls. We were wondering how we would eat our bowls when suddenly Greg appeared with napkins, silverware and plates. Good thing Greg was there to help us get through. By the way, happy birthday to Kate our bartender and server. Great all around. read more

My daughter and three grandsons love Gelsosomo's pizza. We have had the pizza from the Portage, IN and St Joe, MI locations as well. I personally do not like the sweet sauce and the slightly high prices, but there are other things I do like about this place. Service has always been fast and courteous. I normally call in my order, or I pick it up myself because a disabled stepmom and three young boys can make eating out a challenge. I like how this place has a drive-through for take out orders. I also like how the kitchen staff is trained for accuracy and speed. Pizzas have always been delivered faster than told over the phone. This new location in CP is spacious. I like how the bar area is separated from the restaurant, giving it a more intimate feeling. It also has a separate small room with arcade games, perfect to send the little kids to when out dining. My grandsons love the pepperoni pizza and I just go along with them, but next time I am in the area, will try one of their pasta dishes. read more

Food is good. Pizza very good. I love their tomato bread. It's amazing. Also their customer service top-notch.

We ordered a pizza for dinner and frosted breadsticks for dessert. The pizza was decent, greasy with a lot of cheese. I did not feel well after eating it. I was totally unimpressed with the frosted breadsticks, which ended up being some reheated breadsticks with a packet of icing (see picture). For $8 I expected something a little different. By the time we got home from picking up the pizza the breadsticks had harden and we're inedible. Would not eat here again, there are better options near by. read more

This visit wasn't as good as a previous visit we had about 21 months before. The salad was good. The wings were tasty but the pizza was just okay. It wasn't as cheesy as Rosati's and not as tasty in my opinion. The service was spotty. It took a view asks before the waitress was able to get my daughter her drink. I don't know if it was an off day but as my brother said as well, I've had better from them. read more

We were pleasantly surprised to find a realy good pizza at this place. The sauce is sweet, the crust was nice and crunchy and toppings were fresh. The cheeses were just the right mix. Gelsosomo's is THE place to eat piazza in Crown Point! I personally prefer the bar area to enjoy my pizza. It feels more cozy in there. Plus, I usually enjoy the bar area more at just about every restaurant. The staff there is always super friendly, down to earth, good people. Peter, the owner, always makes sure to stop by the table to make sure everything is good. The pizza is a thin crispy crust with a sweet sauce. The cheese and toppings are always plentiful. On Friday's, they offer beer specials too! $2 for a pint of Miller Lite, Coors Light or Yuengling. $3 for a tall. Pizza and beer at the price on a Friday night? Sign me up!!! I live closer to Gelsosomos in Schererville but the drive to crown point is worth it!! Pizza is great we usually have a group with us when we go and order a couple different pizzas and every one we've tried the last couple of times has been amazing! On Wednesdays they also have a pizza buffet and it is amazing! They constantly bring out new pizzas and keep it fresh pizza after pizza coming out. It is affordable also I believe around $13 for the buffet and allows for you to try the other pizzas and is more affordable because the pizzas here are at a bit pricey. Lastly the owner (I think) is also walking around when we are there and making sure everyone is satisfied which is great to see because not often do you see an owner of a restaurant doing that. read more
