I originally tasted and ordered the cinnamon oatmeal cookie ice cream, but my sample didn't come with raisins. The scoop came with plenty of raisins. Consistently top notch ice cream! Been going to Gelati Celesti since childhood, and it's really never disappointed. If I had to pick *one* ice cream spot as a favorite, this is it. With high quality delicious product and delightful staff. And thankfully they are consistently good across all their different locations. They let you sample. I was many different ice cream for free. And have a freezer full of there more popular flavors in pints and corks that you can take to go. Their location on the boulevard is quite spacious inside with lots of seating. One of my favorite Ice cream places when I want a decadent treat. Their ice cream is definitely on the thicker and creamier side of the sliding scale of ice creams. They have fun, rotating flavors along with their classics that never change. My favorites include: just ask (white chocolate ice cream with oreos and ribbons of peanut butter), the banana pudding seasonal is amazing and so is their panda (coconut ice cream, fudge and Oreos). Thursday 3/21/2024 & Friday 3/22/2024 This ice cream is legit some of the best I've had and that's why I'll always continue to go here whenever I'm in the Virginia area. I first had this spot in Virginia Beach and since trying it for the first time, I make sure to always visit when I'm on a trip in that area. It's a Virginia ice cream chain but I WISH it was in Maryland. I was in Richmond for an overnight so I made sure I went back 2 back days before heading back home. The service was solid on the first visit and amazing on the second visit: the worker was very friendly and highly generous with the portions. I sampled the chocolate decadence, brownie sundae (rotational flavor), and the duo (cookie dough & Oreo). I had to stock up so on my first visit I got a large cup of Oreo ice cream $7.95 and on my second/last visit I got 2 large oreo cups & 1 large brownie sundae cup $7.95. - Oreo ice cream * always great and my go to whenever I visit, it's just too good. - brownie sundae ice cream (a mix of vanilla, fudge, and brownie pieces) * this was pretty good and it deserves to be a permanent flavor rather than a rotational flavor. Overall, this ice cream is still some of the best ice cream I've ever had (might be THE best ice cream I've had). After lunch at work, we were looking for something sweet and landed here. They didn't disappoint. There were many delicious looking ice cream options, but only 23 non-dairy vegan choices. I really wish more places would increase the non-dairy options. there should at least be 10 flavors. Aside from that, we couldn't step away from the strawberry with some kind of cookie in it, making it similar to my fav strawberry shortcake. so delicious! incredibly creamy and soft geleti, reminds me of ice cream made in europe. i came with my partner and we got the chocolate covered strawberry, one of their season flavors, and just ask. the chocolate strawberry flavor was definitely a favorite! amazing in texture and flavor. as for the just ask flavor, it's a mix of cookies and cream with peanut butter based on what i could taste. also very delicious! all of their flavors are displayed with allergens, so it's very nice to know if you're allergic to anything. the staff was very kind. as for the interior, it's certainly nice inside and big with ample seating. worth it! read more

Love the ice cream, full stop. Lots of flavors, always delicious and served with great customer service. The ambiance is not great for a few reasons. The metal chairs make a horrendous noise against the cement floor. And with the absence of any acoustic tiles, the place is LOUD in an unpleasant way. I never mind the sound of children and families or sports teams, but it's the metal on cement in an echo room and it makes you not want to hang out and enjoy the lovely ice cream treat. Seems they could add rubber to the feet of the chairs and add some sound dampening panels to the ceiling/walls. read more

I've been meaning to pop into a Gelati Celesti location for a minute, especially since one just popped up close to home in Virginia Beach. I think I have been to 2 or 3 of their locations and both of them deserves 5 stars! from the surrounding, employees and the top quality of ice cream they have, they are indeed a number 1 spot for ice cream. I do not even care if its cold outside, I will tell my sister to go here to get ice cream! they also have different flavors to choose from and to be honest, I do not remember what my favorite flavor is but I have tasted a few and they are all good! you will not go wrong here since they use the best of the best ingredients here and all of their locations are so cute!
