Grabbed some ice cream vanilla for my grandson and banana pudding for me. The ice cream was not only delicious but creamy...just melts in your mouth. I think this was hands down the BEST banana pudding ice cream I've ever had. I definitely want to stop by to try some of their milkshake combos. Wish they offered some of those flavors as an ice cream combo. Staff were friendly and they offer outdoor seating. It was very nostalgic and reminded me of an outdoor old school country store

Vanilla waffle cone with sprinkles

Second time at Kline's Dairy Bar, I ordered two vanilla waffle cones with sprinkles. The ice cream is tasty and I love that they rotate flavors weekly, keeps you on your toes. The service is great and they manage the line well which is nice, especially on hot days. Be sure to get plenty of napkins, the ice melts fast! I went on a day where there wasn't much happening, late evening so it was quiet. A couple of small things worth noting, one of the cones came broken and the sprinkles were only on one side, would love to see them go all the way around. Would also love to see more than one dairy free option on the menu but overall worth the visit!

Oreo explosion dirt sundae.

Love love love Kline's. And they open at 11am on a weekday? Perfect spot to ruin my toddlers lunch with custard. We were the only ones there on a Wednesday morning. And the girl who helped us was so kind. She helped us decide to get this Oreo explosion treat and it was amazing. And came with gummy worms. It was chilly so we ate in our car but I imagine on a nice day it's great to enjoy their patio. If you're looking for custard and a kind face check out Kline's.

Stopped here after going to the metro zoo. Just about a 5 min drive and it's currently in. New development so you just know this place is going to blow up (aka popularity). Also, I was told it's a JMU thing and I wouldn't understand but just have to taste it. lol Plenty of spaces to park at. We were in and out pretty quickly. My youngest enjoyed the chocolate icecream on a cone. I had to try one of their specialty ones. It was a lot and we had leftover to bring home to enjoy for the next few days. It had plenty of outdoor tables to choose and sit at. Staffs were friendly and helpful. A must go to with your family or date!

Oreo flurries

We beat the "post‑dinner" crowd, and the staff greeted us with smiles, patience, and a thorough rundown of everything that goes into a classic banana split. I ended up choosing the OreoFlurry - hands down the best summer send‑off! The cup overflow with creamy ice cream, generously swirled with perfectly blended Oreo chunk. Every spoonful was pure, delicious bliss.

Good quality custard. Decadent and rich but worth it for special occasion . Typical ice cream shop with walk up window and outside seating

The moment you walk in, you're greeted by display cases filled with beautifully presented baked goods. It's the kind of place where you want to grab a tray and try a little bit of everything. Their mix of sweet and savory pastries pairs perfectly with their milk teas or coffee. The atmosphere is laid-back and works whether you're meeting friends, studying, or just stopping in for dessert. With affordable pricing and a broad menu of drinks and baked items, it's an easy place to return to when you want something different from a regular coffee shop.

It's so open, vibrant and aesthetically stunning. I love the self serve option for pastries with importance places on sanitary practices. Each customer grabs their own set of tongs to get pastries and provide to staff upon checkout. I love their dedication to high quality cleanliness and sanitation standards. A definite plus! There are so many pastry options both sweet and savory. The presentation of treats is immaculate. It makes you want to try everything. I had to stop myself, haha! I ordered the Boba Brown Sugar Matcha (cold) with almond milk substitute due to lactose intolerance. It was very delicious, especially the brown sugar boba pearls. The cup is so cute and you can tell so much thought was placed in having high quality products. Im saving this cup for alternative use at home. I also had the ube bun however I didn't like it. It wasn't as sweet as I had hoped and the texture inside wasn't pleasant to me. The ube filling was chunky and kinda broke apart. I wouldn't order that again but would love to try other treat options. Staff were really nice and patient. Service was quick and efficient. Pricing is reasonable in my opinion for the quality and presentation. Highly recommended and I will be back soon!

That employee also completely ignored me, despite the fact that I was clearly standing there waiting to be helped. I was there to pick up a DoorDash order for someone else, but based on the way I was treated, I can guarantee you I will not be choosing to spend my own money at this establishment. I ultimately had to ask another customer who was standing in line if they knew where to pick up a DoorDash order. The entire experience was incredibly dismissive and unprofessional. A simple acknowledgment or, at the very least, "We'll be with you in a moment" would have made a huge difference.

The ambiance was clean and orderly. Upon entering, you grab a serving tray lined with parchment and some tongs. The items are in a glass enclosed display that you have to open and place your selections on your tray for purchase. I settled on the pistachio cream filled pecan pastry, the almond twist, and strawberry shortcake. The beverage menu was extensive: matcha, flavored teas, cocoa, espresso/coffee, and more. We were greeted by pleasant staff at checkout and our orders placed in a parchment type bag for take out. They also have seating inside. The pastries were just sweet enough without being overly sweet, which I like. The pistachio cream was a perfect compliment to the pecan encrusted pastry. The almond twist was both flaky and crunchy with the sliced almonds on top, and the strawberry shortcake had layers of real strawberries, whipped topping and yellow cake that was moist. All were fresh. All in all, a great place to stop by for a morning pastry treat and tea/coffee while in the area,
