I told them that I needed a pedicure but they ended up selling me into also getting my nails done LOL which I'm so glad I did. I have really small nail beds and let them know, but they were extremely accomodating and was able to work around it. I told them that I'm usually shy of getting my nails done since my job is extremely strict on nails on length and color and they understood completely, asking me everytime if the length was okay and wasn't annoyed at me for wanting them shorter. They recommended me to get a builder gel extension which is something i haven't done before and it's been around almost a month since I got them done and the retention is INSANEEE. My nails usually last me less than 2 weeks since I'm super rough handed at work and daily activities I do, but they haven't even budged or wobbled or lifted and I'm genuinely so impressed. Literally life changing for me and I am so SO happy I decided to stop by this salon. They also gave me snacks and drinks too and they were so smiley and friendly. I've always had trouble finding a salon to stick to but this is genuinely going to be one of my go-to spots now. I don't usually get my nails done often, but now I want to after going here to continue to support them. If you're reading this review and debating whether u should go in or not, DO IT! After YEARS of getting nail services done here, it's only right I make a review. This salon gets…read more5/5 stars every time I come. I send friends here, recommend them to whoever asks about my set, and always brag about each tech I get. Usually I'm calling in randomly and last minute asking to come in, so I'm never picky with the techs and they're always able to get me in every time right away. They save my nails and me 10x over and they don't even know it!! They offer complimentary drinks and are always so friendly. I've gotten dozens of long gelx sets here over the years and can say I've rarely ever broken a nail or gotten cut. The gel is always perfectly cured and my designs are PERFECT. Every tech who does my nails envisions my ideas to a T. And it means a lot because my designs are usually not easy to do. With that being said, the price is always reasonable and always around what I'm expecting to spend. There's never any blindsiding or miscommunication when it comes time to pay. And the lil discount for paying in cash always adds the cherry on top. My sets last over a month so I'm coming in like clockwork every 4-5 weeks without miss. Out of all the nail salons in my area I've tried to give a chance to, the ones on the corner of my street, ones next to my laundromat, even the ones I see on instagram, my loyalty is with Chrome. The other nails salons don't top the service and quality that Chrome NailBar delivers to me.

I've been coming to this salon for a while, but unfortunately this will likely be my last visit…read more I showed a photo of pink and purple flowers for my nail design, but the technician painted the flowers white without asking me what color I wanted. When I pointed out that the flowers were supposed to be pink and purple, she appeared frustrated about having to redo them. I apologized for the misunderstanding and explained that I thought the white was just the base color that would be painted over. After that, I felt uncomfortable with how my service was handled. While doing my cuticle work, the technician nicked my skin twice, and toward the end of the service seemed to be digging the cuticle cutter into my fingers more aggressively. I brought the cuts to management's attention before leaving. I also had concerns about the pricing. My total was $122, and I was told I was receiving a $7 discount, bringing the total to $115. However, the salon advertises a cash discount, and when I offered to pay cash, I was told I could not receive the cash discount because I was already receiving the $7 discount from fingers being cut. This was confusing and did not feel transparent. To be fair, I do like how my nails turned out, and I tipped both technicians because I appreciated the work that was done. However, customer service and professionalism are just as important as the final result. I have experienced similar issues here before, and after this visit I don't feel comfortable returning. I've included photos of the cuts on my fingers as well as the finished nails so others can make their own judgment. I also included a photo from a previous time my cuticle was cut that I brought to their attention which hurt very bad and received a $5 discount.

Prices are very reasonable....$25 starting price for gel manicure, $7+ extra for any add ons. I got light chrome added to mine. Color/look wasn't originally what I had in mind but that's my own fault. My nail tech was quick, yet precise and gentle. Normal pedicure starts at $25. I have uploaded the most up to date price sheet if you would like to check and see other services they provide. Walk ins welcome but make sure you call ahead because when I decided to go on a Monday afternoon, they said they're planning to close that day at 6:30p even though Yelp hours say 7:30p since they were having a slow day. Took about an hour (maybe 50 min) for my gel manicure. Not sure if they accept debit/credit cards because we paid with cash.

Check. Yummy complimentary Vietnamese coffee. Check. Then it goes downhill. Lisa was very nice but she's rough. It was painful getting my gel off, getting my cuticles pulled, and the scrub on my legs was too much. Then a corner was taken off one of my toenails, half of them are uneven, parts of the nails don't have enough glitter flakes, and my large toenail didn't get filed or taken off properly and looks like I have stuff under it. I paid for a deluxe but there was absolutely nothing done that was in addition to a regular pedicure....no paraffin wax, callous removal, etc. When we were finishing up, I asked Lisa if I could use the restroom. She said yes but when I asked the Bosslady where it was she said they didn't have a working bathroom. Interesting. I will not be returning.

I don't get my nails done as frequently as I used to, but when I did, I always came here. I've only…read moreever had an issue once before and they fixed it nicely, which is why I am in shock at how horribly I was treated today. I have never felt so embarrassed in my life. My nails looked like wide eggs. The tech told me it was because my natural nail base is wide and that they "would've looked better longer"--something they absolutely should have advised me on before starting. Because I had my 3-year-old daughter with me (who also got a paid service), I left and called them from the car. They explicitly told me to come back and they would redo them. When I drove all the way back, they flipped the script. They refused to redo them because I left the store. I asked for a simple reshape instead; they said yes on the phone, but once I walked in, they refused again, saying it would make them look worse. It wasn't until I demanded they just take them off completely that they finally agreed to reshape them. Please look at my media. The photos show they look way better after the reshape (going from wide houses to almond), meaning they lied to me just to avoid fixing their mistake. Furthermore, the video shows the terrible application: the nails are angled upward instead of flat, and the pinky is totally crooked. It is a horrible feeling to be treated this poorly by a business you have supported for years. Never again. You first said you could redo them and then said you couldn't. Leo didn't not want to reshape them till I told him to remove them. You did absolutely nothing to help in this incident and only embarrassed me as a customer. Do not come in here talking about policy when you disrespect your clients. Shame on you for your poor response and service.

I went here two days ago (07/18) and got a mani pedi. I requested for french tip design on my fingers. The whole process probably took about two hours and my nails looked okay... not great, but they looked okay. When I got home, I took a good look at my nails and realized that one of my hands didnt even have a top coat. I didn't realize at the salon because I was close to falling asleep. Luckily though, I gave them a call and they said I can come back in to fix the issue at no extra cost. I ended up going the next day because I had plans for the rest of the day. When I came in for them to fix it (yesterday 07/17), they happily took me in and applied the top coat. And I thought that was it. Unfortunately I woke up this morning and saw my nails were chipped in certain areas- ALREADY. It's only been two days since I got my nails done and they already look like this.
