They moved me from Lakewood to Fairview Park, Ohio, at a speedy rate, but were very cautious and professional. I was given a time range and they arrived within it friendly and ready to go. Prior to the move, they called a couple of times to confirm locations, prices and optional add-on's. Please note we paid for additional insurance to cover up to $15,000 worth of damage. I spent weeks trying to get in touch with someone. Jovelyn who was barely responsive. The company would screen my calls. Then finally the GM, Scott, took over my case. The company admitted fault and took responsibility, then the company agreed to replace our furniture that was damaged/broken (I have proof) and then Mike (whom till this day refuses to return my calls) decided I had to file a claim through this CSI company that investigates claims. After waiting almost 2 weeks for Jovelyn to get me the information I needed to file, I complete one. Then I contacted Moving Ahead Services MULTIPLE times because no one from this CSI claims ever reached out to me or answered my emails/calls after I filed. It's now August 22nd, I moved June 13, and I'm still sleeping on a bed on the floor because my bed frame was snapped in half. Movers were on time, but truck was too small to fit all my belongings. Very upsetting considering the lengthy process of covering the contents of my apartment. This caused me to have to ask 2 other people to bring their vehicles to help as almost my entire storage unit and items in my garage were left. All the loading and unloading of the content, gas, and time it took all of us to travel back and forth 2 hours each way to do it. Additionally, the movers caused damage to my walls in the stairway which I will have to pay for out of my apartment security deposit. The back-and-forth with the rep about an appropriate reduction in costs was also stressful and time consuming. His insistent reluctancy to take a minimal amount off the bill was ridiculous. He seemed to completely disregard the issue and want me to realize they wouldn't make any money if he gave me too much of a discount. That's what happens when your company completely drops the ball!
