The wife and I had purchased a "Litter Robot" a little more than a year ago, when it suddenly stopped working. When I called the company's tech support, I was told that the warranty only covered the box for a year, and that they no longer refurbished or repaired boxes past warranty. The company stated I'd have to purchase a new one, at considerable cost. I refused to spend that much cash again so soon after its purchase, so I started calling around to multiple tech repair companies. About half of the companies I called never bothered to call back, and the other half stated they only worked on phones. Finally I got a response from Ryan of ZCR Technical Solutions, who stated that while he had never worked on a Litter Robot before, he was willing to take a look at it. While he was a little out of our way (Indianapolis to Martinsville), he was willing to travel to any location with a mileage cost. The wife and I chose to pass on having him drive to us, and instead decided to drive to him. I'm more than pleased that we decided to make the drive, as Ryan fixed the issue in a timely manner, and at what I considered to be a VERY reasonable cost. He was friendly, communicative, and kept us up to date on the progress. Aside from Litter Robots, he also works on phones, tablets, laptops, computers, gaming consoles, and more importantly vintage repairs (as long as he can get access to the replacement parts). Money is tight these days, and with the recession, it's only going to get tighter. If you have something you want fixed at a good price, I can't suggest calling him enough. Bryan for assisting the truck driver at 6:55 pm, who stated that he drove 2.5 hours to get to the store. He stated that he had not had contact with his family for 2 days since his screen was shattered. He had an additional 3 hours of driving today. Bryan assisted him with making a claim and then clocked out at 7pm stating that he would stay off the clock to fix it. He told me that his father is a truck driver so he felt the pain.

Broke my screen and called up A&K they had a screen and did so I went to get it changed. The guy…read moresaid it would take an hour and they had a cheaper screen option than the certified apple screen. I decided to get that one. I went to pick it up and he wouldn't let me see the phone before I paid in order to inspect the work. Upon payment as soon as I looked at the screen I noticed something was off. The refresh rate was way too slow and there was a noticeable lag when I swiped through my phone. There was also a substantial difference in the colors on my screen. I immediately brought it to his attention and he said "that's normal. It will still work just fine" and offered no solutions to my problems. The next day I noticed something else not quite right about the screen; it's absolutely draining my battery life on my phone. My 15 pro max used to last all day of constant use and still have battery left at the end of the day. Now if I look at a text or scroll less than 5 TikTok's it will eat 10% of my battery. As far as the speed of the repair, if you really need something fixed fast I guess I would recommend them for that. If you want a quality repair with quality parts, find someone else to do the work.

The first time I came to Lightening Repairs was for an issue the counterman was not quite familiar…read morewith. He looked up a couple of things and solved my issue while I stood there! I was impressed. I could not get my laptop complete loading to the log on screen which prompted my second visit. The harddrive was failing but they were able to recover some important data. The cloud backup had not recorded anything for the past 5 years so although I was glad I got some of that data, getting the recent data was very important to me. Although I struggled to find the recent data, they were finally able to steer me directly to it. I was SO RELIEVED. They replaced my hard drive with one with lesser capacity but still plenty large. I got all my data back and the new drive, and even though I had to follow up a couple more times to get to the data, the cost was most reasonable. I would recommend Lightning Repair highly. Also, the young men working there were all friendly and knowledgeable.
