Broke my screen and called up A&K they had a screen and did so I went to get it changed. The guy…read moresaid it would take an hour and they had a cheaper screen option than the certified apple screen. I decided to get that one. I went to pick it up and he wouldn't let me see the phone before I paid in order to inspect the work. Upon payment as soon as I looked at the screen I noticed something was off. The refresh rate was way too slow and there was a noticeable lag when I swiped through my phone. There was also a substantial difference in the colors on my screen. I immediately brought it to his attention and he said "that's normal. It will still work just fine" and offered no solutions to my problems. The next day I noticed something else not quite right about the screen; it's absolutely draining my battery life on my phone. My 15 pro max used to last all day of constant use and still have battery left at the end of the day. Now if I look at a text or scroll less than 5 TikTok's it will eat 10% of my battery. As far as the speed of the repair, if you really need something fixed fast I guess I would recommend them for that. If you want a quality repair with quality parts, find someone else to do the work.

When I went on-line, although there was nothing in Yelp, there was a pretty positive on-line opinion about Guardian Computer Systems, so I decided to try here first. In addition to many other services, they were able to help diagnose my problem, which indeed was the universal charger. They did not have one in stock for me to purchase, but they did diagnose the problem so I knew how to fix. They were super friendly, quick, helpful. And when they could not sell me the charger to solve my problem, they referred me to another place locally where I could. So although my time with Guardian was limited, for my laptop repair, they were helpful, friendly and got me moving in the right direction....at no charge.
