Later, when I pick up my laptop, it turns out that during the repair process the NEW screen had somehow gotten cracked (a minor crack, but noticeable) due to an employee error. This was freely admitted. Fortunately, they were willing to replace the brand new screen free of charge, I just had to wait another week. Well, it has now been 2 months, and I have not heard back from this place. Overall, I am pretty disappointed, although my initial problem was indeed fixed.

Sadly, they didn't work after the repair, and just a few days later they called back and said that the new pair came in and I could go pick it up. The new, used pair they gave me looked great, it was in almost perfect condition. That was at least two years ago and the headphone still work perfectly. Overall, iMechanic is an amazing place, and they repair almost all electronics if I remember correctly. Not just iPhones.

Bryan for assisting the truck driver at 6:55 pm, who stated that he drove 2.5 hours to get to the store. He stated that he had not had contact with his family for 2 days since his screen was shattered. He had an additional 3 hours of driving today. Bryan assisted him with making a claim and then clocked out at 7pm stating that he would stay off the clock to fix it. He told me that his father is a truck driver so he felt the pain.

I was impressed. I could not get my laptop complete loading to the log on screen which prompted my second visit. The harddrive was failing but they were able to recover some important data. The cloud backup had not recorded anything for the past 5 years so although I was glad I got some of that data, getting the recent data was very important to me. Although I struggled to find the recent data, they were finally able to steer me directly to it. I was SO RELIEVED. They replaced my hard drive with one with lesser capacity but still plenty large. I got all my data back and the new drive, and even though I had to follow up a couple more times to get to the data, the cost was most reasonable. I would recommend Lightning Repair highly. Also, the young men working there were all friendly and knowledgeable.
