The original appointment had to be rescheduled due to a family emergency on his end, which I completely understood. He even offered a refund at that time, but we chose to reschedule. Our new appointment was set for 10:00 a.m. on 3/9/2026. He didn't arrive until 7:16 p.m. When he finally got here, he looked at our furnace and pointed out mold. He said he could clean it but that it might cause more issues. Then he told us we needed to replace ALL of our ductwork and quoted $8,400. That immediately raised concerns, so we had two reputable HVAC companies come out for second opinions. Both said our ductwork was in great condition. They found the real issue was a refrigerant (Freon) leak--our A/C unit is 25 years old and was leaking at 42%. That explained the problem. They also said that even if ductwork repairs were needed, it would not cost anywhere near what we were quoted. We decided to move forward with a new A/C unit through another company, which also included a free air purifier and duct cleaning. I requested a refund of our deposit and even offered to let him keep $150 for his time and gas. Since then, I have received no response and have been completely ghosted. Please be very cautious. He is very convincing, but based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major work.
