To be clear, salesperson Michael Joyce was excellent--professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. I initially worked with him on Friday, March 20, and nothing that followed reflects on him. The issue arose in the finance office. After waiting roughly 3 hours, I met with the finance manager (forgot his name). Early in the conversation, he made inappropriate personal disclosures, including discussing his role as a pastor and firing an assistant pastor due to an incident/ military combat PTSD. This was unprofessional and irrelevant. I came in pre-approved through USAA at a competitive rate (my credit score is in the high 700s to low 800s). I made it clear I would only consider dealership financing if they could beat my terms. After reviewing their offer, I declined and chose to proceed with my own lender. At that point, the finance manager stepped away briefly, then returned and said they could no longer complete the deal, claiming the dealership would "lose $3,000" if I didn't use their financing. This contradicts the agreed-upon out-the-door price finalized with the sales team, including sales manager Ivan. The deal was effectively withdrawn solely because I refused their financing. This suggests the pricing was contingent on backend profit from financing--something that was never disclosed upfront. I would not recommend this dealership. Be cautious: agreed pricing may not be honored unless you accept their financing.

Based on that, I moved forward in good faith and even asked if they could beat a pre-approved interest rate I already had through my bank. Without clearly communicating any changes to me, they ran my credit--but for a loan amount that was $2,500 higher than the price I was originally quoted and saw advertised. I was never informed of this change beforehand. In fact, I had to follow up myself after not hearing back, only to be told the original pricing was "incorrect." I spoke with the general manager to try to resolve the situation. While he did apologize, he ultimately said there was nothing he could do. I also made it clear that the sales associate never reached out to inform me of any price change before running my credit. This felt extremely misleading and, honestly, unethical. At minimum, I would expect: * Clear communication before running my credit * Transparency if pricing changes * Respect for the written quote and advertised price Instead, I was left feeling like the numbers were changed behind the scenes to see what I would qualify for, rather than what I actually agreed to. I would strongly encourage others to double-check everything and get full confirmation of numbers before allowing any credit checks. Proceed with caution.
