I drive an hour for the Jamaican Jerk Gator Taco. You can get it as a meal with a drink & 3 pierogis. Great value! The menu is large including their shake menu. I call ahead because the lead time is usually 15 minutes. They have outside tables to sit at on a nice day. Worth the trip! read more

Got there and it didn't look like it was open. Signs on windows said "opening at 3PM tomorrow for required maintenance)" so it was confusing as to whether or not they were open and no one came to the window, so my husband and I peeked in the window to see if anyone was inside (thus - were they open or not). Owner's wife came to the window and barked "I was on a call in order", rolled her eyes and slammed the window shut so hard I'm surprised it didn't shatter!!!! I said to my husband: "I'm not giving them my hard earned money for an attitude like that" so we left!! Never had a problem there before and owner himself is always nice but his wife is a nightmare and driving customers away with that attitude!!!! Fluffernutter milkshake is a peanut butter heavy milkshake. It's delicious and well worth it. The soft tacos are massive, the hard tacos are pretty standard sized tacos. - The beef was too greasy for me but the taste was decent - gator taco - I've never had alligator so this was unique (tastes like seafood chicken - you know it's not chicken but it tastes like it). I enjoyed this taco Corn nuggets - hard to mess up. Fried corn and tastes good The food is good and well priced but it upset my friend's and my stomach. I'm not sure what did it but for that I had to knock off a star. They're always busy so you know they're doing something right. Would come back again! read more

I'm not a taco fanatic, but Geakers has the best tacos I've ever had. I had a soft shell shrimp taco w/mango habanero sauce. It was phenomenal and so filling. Pace yourself because ONE taco is big! This wasn't your average doughey soft shell, there was something different about - cant quite find the words to accurately describe it. DELICIOUS though! Every bite. The shrimp were well seasoned, not hiding behind thick breading. The service is inviting; the gentleman who took my order was so pleasant. Everything is made fresh to order and the wait isn't too long. I can't wait to go again when I'm in the area. There are a few other sauces I'd love to try! I'm disappointed that I just had the experience I did. I live locally and order from Geakers often. The customer service I received today has changed that. My husband and daughter went to the window to order lunch for the family. I wanted the fish sandwich which comes with tartar, lettuce, and tomato. When asked, my husband said he wanted the sandwich with the items that go with it and extra tartar sauce. When we opened the bag when he got home the chicken fingers were missing and my sandwich had no lettuce or tomato. I called and they said that they didn't hear my daughter ask for chicken fingers and they would need to charge me for them when I came back. No problem. I also asked about my sandwich and if I should bring it back. They said no. When I went to pick up the chicken fingers and my sandwich they wanted to charge me for both items. When I reminded them that they had not put the toppings on the original sandwich and I was there for the corrected order they still wanted to charge me. I told them to forget it and left without my items. I called to speak to someone in charge and was able to speak with the female owner. I confirmed with her that on the posted menu the sandwich comes with three toppings and that is what it should have come with. She said that I would have needed to say each item I wanted on the sandwich or else it wouldn't come on it. That is not how ordering works...at any establishment I've been to. If the menu lists the items it comes with then those are the items... unless you would like something removed or substituted. Such a shame, I've been a loyal customer since they opened. read more

Okay, so this isn't authentic Mexican or anything, more like Americanized summertime street fair/carnival food? They have more than tacos--hot dogs, burgers, onion rings, ice cream. The food is GOOD. Like primo, grade-A comfort food. Hard shell taco with bourbon ground beef and mango jalapeño chicken?? Yum. Super yum. All the taco flavors you see on the menu are just a sauce they add to the protein, but they're sauces done well and you can actually taste the distinct flavors. Quality tomatoes, lettuce and cheese for toppings make for an overall delightful experience. They have corn nuggets, which are exactly what you expect. Like a creamed corn situation battered and dipped in the deep fryer. Decent prices all around, but they just put signage up saying they had to make a recent adjustment to the prices on the menu, so it must have been cheaper before which is kind of hard to believe. Haven't been here in years and it's just as good as I remember. It took me forever to choose my milkshake as there are so many different flavors to choose from. The shrimp taco with sweet pineapple chili sauce was bomb! The sauce was flavorful and the tacos are huge. Decided on a mint chocolate chip milkshake (thin) and it was super refreshing. The Mac n cheese bites are similar to those of sheetz and cheese fries were smothered with cheese. Food was out and hot in 5 minutes. Great little place to stop and grab a bite & a shake! read more

Very interesting place. Very friendly staff, the owner himself there introduced himself when I said I was new to the area. Glad to help support local businesses like these. Menu is very broad, with burgers, steaks, tacos, and ice cream/shakes. I got a taco combo with pierogies and a milk shake. A weird set of food, for sure. I will say the tacos are very american, not a bit "authentic" mexican, but they dont advertise as that. Still was decent taste and a decent size. Basic cheese, etc. Pierogies were good, and the milk shake was really good. I was in and out of here very quickly. Food was ready fast. My only complaint is that there is no inside seating. A couple stars for great ownership/cook and staff who clearly have good intentions for their customers and strive to please the people. My interaction with them was warm, friendly, and professional. That said, my palette and stomach do not understand good intentions. The salad is based on a tortilla that makes eating the salad impossible. You can't cut or eat it without wearing the salad. While the vegetables were "fresh", they were clearly the lowest cost, bulk lettuce and tomatoes that tasted and smelled of chemicals. It is all stuffed into a tiny cardboard box. Dense enough to fill you- impossible to get out or eat without leaving some on your shirt and pants for later. The beef is clearly 80/20 with zero draining of the fat. This is a cheap bulk beef that if, left to sit, will coagulate in a pool of grease and fat. Eating this beef you get that feeling of confusion- "Did I eat it or did I smear it all over my face?!" Finally, there is zero authenticity to these tacos and salads. If you had served me this food telling me you picked it up a the corner truck stop... I would have believed you and the review would have been the same. However, as this food comes from a local haunt that boasts the distinction of "voted best taco In the valley"- I do questions how many hanging chads were in that tally. How this place survives financially can only be attributed to their sheer will power and friendliness because I can't see how the food is bringing the boys to the yard. If you have eaten here at Geekers, I challenge you to go to the place in Bethlehem voted the 3rd best taco in the nation- Aqui Es A Taste of Mexico. Comparing the two is almost impossible. I feel horrible leaving such a scathing review for such good people. My hope is they will take my challenge above and seek to greatly improve their offerings. read more

My friend was scammed trying to order food from Geaker's online through BringMeThat.com. The scammer knew Geakers menu and pricing, charged her credit card for the correct amount, and then placed an order, by phone, using her name. When she arrived to pick up the food they charged her for the food. She told them she ordered and paid online. They said they don't take online orders and made her pay for her food, even though she showed them the emails from the scammers stating that her food had been paid for. She paid them. She then reached out to them by phone to explain what had happened so this doesn't happen to other customers. No one answered the phone so she left a message. No one returned her call so she wrote something about what happened to her in the comment section on Facebook, warning customers of the scam. Someone from Geakers finally reaches out to her, and instead of trying to rectify the situation- they express their discontent about the fact that she posted her experience online. They then made a Facebook post, bashing my friend, and blocked her. Terrible customer service. And overpriced food. Beware! read more

I discovered this eatery when their food truck served tacos at my banks anniversay celebration a few years ago People reviews mentioned tacos were basic and tasteless, milI shakes were surgery sweet! On my first trip in August, I ordered a steak sandwich and a chicken taco. The steak was overly salted and the order taker mentioned it was the au jus that comes with the steak meat. Not sure why the meat can't be cooked alone. The taco on soft flour tortilla was filled abundantly with lettuce, tomato, and meat. It's $6 and we'll worth it. All fresh and tastes great On my September visit, we ordered another chicken taco ($6) and a pork roll and cheese on hamburger bun. What a bargain at $2.25! The milkshakes are sweet because of added ingredients like fluff, caramel, syrup that enhances the ice cream. Eventually, we'll eat our way through the menu list. I have visited my towns carnival for many years to get tacos from the geakers food truck. Well I will never being doing that again. I had the worst costumer service experience from them because I special order for my small child. I paid $12 for a taco salad instead of the $8 for a taco. They made out because I only wanted chicken and tomatoes in the bowl because my child can't pick up a taco yet and eat it without it falling out because they are to small. When I received it there was loads of lettuce I went up to the window to ask if I could have it without lettuce like I ordered it and they rudely responded it's a salad. I said yes I am aware however I paid more just to have it in the bowl. They rudely remade it and continue to complain and yell about it as I walked away unreal. I will never be visiting their trucks or restaurant again because of this extremely rude behavior. I would not recommend them to any one ever again. I stopped by Geakers on a hot Friday afternoon for a fluffernutter milkshake. It was delicious. The shake tasted like eating fluffernutter minus the bread. I was hungry for other food (late lunch) and didn't really know what to get nor did I feel like the person at the counter was going to give advice so I just ordered that and waited. It took a little over 5 minutes and I was on my way. Whenever in the area, and passing by Geakers, I try to stop and if anything grab a cone of soft served ice cream with sprinkles, it's so good! Reminds me of classic twist ice cream which seems to be hard to find in this area anymore. The tacos with the deep fried shell are so good. The shell isn't too hard like a hard shell taco, it's almost in between soft meets hard shell. It is fantastic. I like the beef and chicken however I recommend getting sauce on the side if you never had it before. I'm going to get straight to the point...incredible. We ate at the Geakers at the Zoo location. Easily the best zoo food we've had and we have been to over 55 zoos across the United States. It actually would be one of best vendor/concession/(not really sure the category) food places of this type we've experienced. I had the chicken taco and it was quite large. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and tons of it as well as plenty of toppings. I also had a side of mozzarella sticks that were fried just right. My boyfriend had a taco dog. This is basically a hot dog with taco toppings. Also, delicious. He had a side of fried Mac and cheese bites. Again, he said best he's ever had and he is an unofficial Mac and cheese connoisseur! We were not expecting much, just trying to support the zoo and a local business as we usually do, and it was a nice little surprise to end our zoo trip. I wish we had one closer to home. They do throw a curveball with having a soft taco not really being a traditional soft taco like one might think (think more of that flour tortilla your thinking of deep fried)...but it's still good. NOTHING is cheap here....but not outlandish. The milkshakes range from $3.75 to $5. Fries $3. Hot dogs like $1.65 (ballpark). Truly...it's fine for what it is...it seems rather clean.....high school kids working the place are pleasant.....but don't go there expecting gourmet food or this epiphany that this will be an earth shattering experience. First time here even though I have driven past this location numerous times. My fiancé and I came in on a Saturday afternoon, I ordered a milkshake and a soft chicken taco. The chicken taco was huge and tasted great- fresh cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. My fiancé got a hotdog with cheese and she enjoyed that as well. Now on to the milkshakes, this place had a huge sign with all of the flavors. I went with mint chocolate chip and the milkshake was excellent nice size and thick. I've been visiting Geeker's for quite a while and had just about everything on the menu at one time or another. My most recent visit, 1/22/2020 I had the fish taco. I believe that they changed their cheese supplier - now it's a much more noodle-like cheese - EXCELLENT! I now can compare Geeker's to a certain Taco stand in Hollywood, California, which may no longer be in business. I thought their tacos were the best north of the Border. Fair is fair, but Geeker's is the best in the Lehigh Valley. The milkshakes are hard to beat -they're excellent! Very good and friendly staff. When I 1st began to visit Geekers, they learned my name and took my orders under my name, I just wasn't a number that came up in order. The interior of the facility is very lower Florida Keys with Key West being the focal point. No palm trees or sand or ocean water. The founder of this restaurant has a nice collection of Police badges and the walls a painted in a great motif. But the bottom line here is the menu and how the food is made and presented to you.
