I had a leak in the water line somewhere between my water meter and the shut off valve located inside in a utility closet in the center of my house - the leak was not visible but was confirmed by the county water department after I asked them to inspect because my water bill was astronomical - the county inspector said he knew there was a leak underground because the water meter continued to run after the valve was shut off. I first called another plumber, who believed the leak was beneath the slab and said they would need to excavate a trench through my yard, cut through the concrete sidewalk the concrete front porch the foundation and the concrete slab inside my house and excavate all the way to the shut off valve to replace the line beneath the slab. The first quote to fix the problem, and replace the concrete that would be damaged, was staggering, My son recommended I call Schott for a second opinion. Chris at Schott came out right away - he said the line outside the house was likely the only problem given the age of my home and the home builder - he had done many similar homes in my neighborhood and said the line to the house was a common problem given the home's age, and the materials used by the construction industry when my house was built - and the proper way to fix that was to just drill beneath the yard and bring in a new water line to the house - in his opinion there was likely no need to cut into the concrete slab or do extensive damage to my home and yard. His price was very reasonable. The crews from Schott and Waker came out within a few days, as scheduled - two guys from Schott and two from Waker, with big equipment on trailers - they knew exactly what they were doing, were fast and efficient. They did an excellent job - they drilled and installed a new line beneath my yard from the meter to the house, cleaned up nicely afterwards (you can hardly even tell they were here!) and they were done within 3 hours. When they were done they confirmed there was no other leak beneath the slab. So the first plumber was wrong. I am Very Thankful for Schott's expertise - Chris saved me a huge amount of money and a huge amount of mess, disruption and damage to my home. No need to cut the concrete. No need to replace flooring. Schott is honest, reasonably priced, and professional - they know what they are doing, I recommend them highly. Thank You.

We discovered early on a…read moreSaturday morning that there was "no hot water", Looking for the cause, we found that the hot water tank had ruptured, flooding the basement level of our building. We tried contacting the large plumbing firms that we have used in the past, but found that no immediate emergency service was available from either of them. Searching the BBB website for positive-rated firms, we found Integrity Plumbing. Then we consulted YELP, where we found a number of positive reviews from very satisfied customers. We called Integrity, and ther people arrived within 30 minutes of our call. They temporarily restored our cold water service, isolating the hot-water lines. As they were able to return on Monday to restore our hot water service, we decided to use them for the additional work. . We selected the model of a new tank, and they began installation of that replacement unit at 8:00 AM the following Monday morning. (They are closed on Sundays). Installation was completed before noon on Monday. Their work was "first rate", there personnel were friendly, intelligent, and professional. Not only were their prices "very reasonable", they even "credited our final bill" by the entire dollar amount that we had paid for Saturday's emergency service call. We will definitely choose Integrity Plumbing the next time our firm needs any plumbing services.

We found this company on yelp recommendations for tree services. We contacted them at 8:00 in the…read moremorning and asked if they gave free estimates, and specified that we did not want any work done till we had a quote and confirmed. They arrived with in 30 minutes of the quoted time. After looking at the situations, we asked for a quote for just tree cutting (cutting the fallen tree to manageable sections) and one quote for complete removal. The complete removal was quoted to be $1400. I said that it sounded great and asked him to please send me a written quote to ensure that the price and work expectations will be the same. He said okay, and asked me to text the email to him. Within roughly less than 3 hours, and 4 exchanges... he finally sent me a written quote of $2100. When inquired if it was an error, he texted back and said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make a decision" 10:20 I texted my email to him as requested at the end of meeting 11:50 He texted me and that he sent the quote. He only sent for cut only, not for cut and haul. So I immediately asked for a full clearing quote. 1:09 I get the quote for full clear and asked if it was an error - much more than discussed 1:19 he said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make the decisions." A company that literally jacked up your price because you were shopping for a quote - is not trustworthy to perform work without written quote.. Would not recommend work without written quote for buyer protection. We did not have them waiting for an unreasonable amount of time by any stretch of the imagination - most of it was waiting for them to send me written quotes. Pictures just to give you the idea of how interested I was and really wanted a written estimate.
