James showed up late in the afternoon and was so quick that I didn't recognize who he was. I actually started to chase him away. I am so glad that I didn't. He was very good at communicating what he was going to do and how he was going to approach it. We offered to move some equipment but James already had a plan in motion. James did a fantastic job and was detailed in every aspect. He worked hard and double checked his work. What an enjoyable young man to have contributing to the project! The owner has his typical favorites (those who thrive off drama, gossip & are always running to complain to his office about the slightest inconvenience like how many plys the toilet paper should be)lighting is awful, technology and furniture is from the '90s (maybe late 80s), and let's not get started on the break room and restrooms. This establishment would easily make the top 5 worst places to work at in Round Rock, TX.

I received bids from a total of 3 companies. The bid from ATS was right in the middle. I decided to select them because I received excellent communication just during the bidding process. I worked with Miles the most and Paul would chime in as necessary. Miles was completely honest about their timeline (which was a little longer than I'd hoped) and kept me up to date about when his team would be out to do the work. He educated me on the process and allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed. Miles also made suggestions in order to prevent us from having unnecessary work done. The team that came out was quiet and courteous. I received my report quickly after the work was completed. When my architect asked us some follow up questions about the report, Miles and Paul researched the issue and answered the questions quickly and thoroughly. This house remodel process has been quite stressful, but working with ATS was a breeze.

I recently contacted Ash & Associates to obtain a Boundary Line and Improvements Survey on my 1.3…read moreacre residential property. They responded quickly with an estimate for $2700. I received another proposal for the same scope from Rittiman Surveying for $750 with a $150 Rush Charge. I sent a message to the Ash and Associates surveyor about the proposal. He stated that the estimate included drive time, office time, and site time. I could not see how this justified an estimate that was 3X what the other surveying company was proposing. In addition to the superb service they provided me, they have a top notched team who treats me like family. Everyone is very professional, respectful, and caring. One of the team member whom I've had the pleasure of working with over the years is Valerie Tillery. Valerie is very knowledgeable in real estate and property management. Whenever I have a question regarding my investment property, Valerie always responded quickly with clear answers to my questions. I've always felt that Valerie takes her time to make sure that any concerns or issues I have about my property is well addressed. Under her management, my rental property was never vacant for more than a week or two between tenants. That's just the time it takes for the crew to get the house ready for the next tenant. We usually have a new tenant signed a rental agreement before the old tenant moved out. My investment house have been cash flowing nicely since my purchase. I enjoyed working with Mars Hill Realty so much that I'm in the process of closing on another property in Georgetown, Texas for them to manage. While the housing prices in Florida is comparable to Texas, the cost of investing in Florida is cheaper than Texas because they have lower property tax. So why didn't I invest in Florida? Because Mars Hill Realty does not do business there. There's no property management that I trust more than Mars Hill Realty. In fact, it was Valerie who introduced me to the neighborhood that I'm buying my second investment home in. My experience as a property investor has been really stress-free with Mars Hill Realty managing my property.
