I used Chuck Walker for a land survey. Before closing on the house I built on the land, I needed their survey updated. They quoted me twice what their competitors would charge because they knew that they were the only ones with the CAD file to complete the work. I reached out to Walker's competition to confirm and it was true. Was he gouging me because he could? You be the judge. Chuck Walker would not release the CAD file (that I paid for to me) so I could have a different company complete the work. Why? He had me over a barrel. After tracking down the inspector, he denied responsibility and demanded he talk to our contractor vs tell me if my pipe was safe. The conversation ended by him hanging up on me by my questioning if we had an issue with our line, yet him already approving it. I then went to report the incident to his manager, who confirmed the pipe should not have been approved, and he would get back to me with what I needed to do. I followed up with him three times, and he's ignored every message. We paid for an inspection from ATS to know if our gas line was installed safely to have a tech approve an unsafe pipe, deny it, communicate unprofessionally, his boss ghost us, and after 3 weeks, we still do not know if our gas line is safe. Flagging for the city that ATS has approved an unsafe line and will not communicate nor follow up after multiple attempts.
