The detail, effort, and energy she brings to the stressful process of buying real estate in the Austin area is nothing short of amazing. I was pretty picky about what I wanted and she worked amazingly hard to make sure I was satisfied. She contacted me daily and was able to help me stage my home for sale. She was able to sell my house for much more than I had anticipated and made the whole process so quick and easy it was unbelievable. She answered every text and call right away and was always ready to offer her expertise and insight to the pros and cons of a particular home. I couldn't imagine working with a more helpful, hard working realtor than Suzie and would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Suzie is literally as good as it gets. She is thorough, conscientious of both buyer and seller needs, but if she is representing you, you feel as though she has your back and treats you as if you were her only customer. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor. When there is so much competition for good realtors or brokers today, Suzie is clearly in the top 1%.

Here's the deal, Preston Pruett just got a large sum of money from a deal where he failed to listen…read moreto the customers and failed to properly communicate to the clients. This agent lied, failed to take accountability and mislead my soon to be ex-husband and me to get the house to sell quickly. HE ENDED UP LETTING A STRANGER LIVE IN OUR HOME. Then blamed us for trusting his document was only covering the man's possessions. Turns out the document lets the man live there and Preston did not provide us with the right document. He thought he wouldn't get caught since we did not live there.... Well, he did and then blamed us. Now I found out via the buyer, that Preston told him "I was in a mood" prior to me coming to get the last of my things ( i yelled at him after finding out the man lived there). Preston's behavior should not be rewarded. He just made a sum of money from the sale of my home but he failed to listen to my wishes and continued to treat me with disrespect. I feel the need to say... Keller Williams company representatives have been unprofessional, condescending and rude. I paid a commission only to find out your agent talked about me behind my back to a man (the buyer) I was supposed to meet in an hour. On top of this, his Broker reached out and talked more about my pending divorce than the issues I had with Keller Williams. My ex-husband and I are friends. I'm not a mean person, I am not just randomly angry and I get along with my soon to be ex-husband. We are friends and were in agreement about how this situation was mishandled. So ... I'm not just an angry or forgetful, distraught divorcee. Your firm multiple times let me down.

Sheree was the absolute most miserable person to work with. My family and I were looking for a home…read moreto rent after tragically losing our house to a fire. The house we were looking at was originally listed for sale, since the market was slow the buyer was generously willing to rent to us. Sheree was unhappy about this and treated us as though we were criminals, refusing to speak with us over the phone saying everything had to be done through text or email so she had written accord of everything. Every interaction she gave us attitude and told us she thought we are being sneaky and lying. We lost our entire home and everything in it. We were processing trauma, basically homeless with two young children all while trying to find a rental in our neighborhood as quickly as possible and she made the process extremely saddening and horrible. We obviously were going to sign a lease, she was afraid we would break the lease and move back into our house in a few months. We assured her multiple times we were not being sneaky and not trying to trick anyone, offering to show her our house right down the street that would take a year to fix. Our insurance agent even tried to talk to her and assure her that even IF the house was done in 9 months insurance continues the full lease term payments. She would not cooperate with anyone, would not speak to our insurance agent. We brought in our realtor in hopes that she could speak cordially with her, but she even yelled on the phone at her saying we are "sneaky", "lying", etc.. She made every single step of the way difficult, sad, and miserable. We had an idea to maybe pull money from some resources and purchase the house that way we didn't have to rent the house, but again absolutely terrible interactions and being called names by Sheree Leonard. The only reason we continued to try and push through with this house was because there were no other rental options immediately available in our neighborhood and I had my heart set on this one because it was a few houses down from my kids favorite playground and friends. We decided to rent because we didn't want to communicate with Sheree any longer and figured she would be out of the process and the landlord being the owner would be the communicator. When we finally came to an agreement and shared that insurance pays the rent directly so we don't have to be a middle man she refused that as well. We got approved, etc, went to sign and found out Sheree would be the one to communicate with us as the "landlord" so we decided homeless was a better option than continue communications with her.

I was interested in renting a property she was managing & she didn't even show up to our appt. She texted me while I was en route that she wasn't going to make it & thankfully the current renter was kind enough to show the property to me. That should have been a red flag about how unprofessional she is. When I showed up to the condo on move-in day with my two week old son there was no AC and it was over 90 degrees. I called her and she told me that if she called a repair person I would be responsible for the costs. I was a single mom with a new baby with nowhere to go in an overpriced condo. Thankfully the maintanance man found me crying on the floor and put me in touch with the landlord to help me. The landlord had to take over & do Sheree's job for her. The landlord paid for me to stay in a hotel with my son while the AC was fixed and the condo was made move-in ready. It was disgusting. There was cat fur everywhere, dead bugs in the freezer & blood stains on the toilet seat. I don't think Sheree ever set foot in the condo. I think she was earning commission, but not doing any work & taking advantage of the landlord because he is elderly. I'm almost positive that my landlord fired her because he no longer uses her after the way she treated me. He told me he would "deal" with her. I've heard she is nasty to everyone. I was at a post-operative appt for my C-Section and she sent me the attached text when I didn't respond right away. How childish! She also had a dryer installed without cleaning the vent which is a huge fire hazard. I'm lucky my landlord noticed before I used it.

I found Nanette through twitter where became online friends. When I started looking for my first…read morehouse the most important thing to me was that I found a realtor who was honest and would hopefully find me a good deal. I also hoped to find someone who would understand my needs. When I was looking for an apartment years ago I saw several realtors who didn't get that when I said "central" I didn't mean 183 and when I said "small complex" I didn't mean just shy of 500 units. When I met Nanette and we started talking about neighborhoods she instantly got exactly what I was talking about. Looking for houses actually was a lot of fun, we would meet at vegan restaurants we were both dying to try and then drive around town listening to music and laughing about a lot of the silly things you find when house hunting. She would listen to me endlessly waver about pluses and minuses and never lost her patience with my indecisiveness. Since I was using an Austin city program for low income people there was also a lot of paperwork and regulations that we had to go through and I was so happy to have Nanette with me through all of that. After I had a really bad experience with the first house I bid on accepting my offer and then later changing their mind Nanette made me realize that it was for the best anyway. And she was right, we still talk two years later about how lucky we were that we didn't end up there. The second bid I put in was also fraught with difficulty because my house was breaking some code violations. Nanette helped me to get the seller to pay for a lot of that, including fixing a leaking shower and retiling the bathroom and walked me through the never ending closing process. The house that I ended up getting is just adorable, and I didn't even realize it when we first looked at it. It was so much nicer than anything I thought I would end up with and with a little paint it has been completely transformed. I am so happy there! And I am so happy to have met Nanette who I now recommend to anyone even considering buying a house. Really, I should ask for a stack of her business cards next time I see her.

They know their business/have powerful instincts: Every piece of advice given was thoughtful and backed by experiential expertise (advice on different aspects of an offer, advice on how to modify a home, advice on writing letters to the sellers, advice on negotiating, advice on timing, etc.). I made offers on three places and two of the three offers were accepted! I had to waive the appraisal for each offer and on the offer that I saw through, the home appraised at what was offered (they couldn't guarantee this, but they could provide comps and set my expectations as to what might occur). Their network is unprecedented: They know the other realtors, they have recommended trades (I am using one of their recommended contractors who is amazing), they have relationships with home inspectors, mortgage companies, and other services deeply intertwined with the realty business.
