My roof has been a…read moreproblem for many years and I know that a 30+ year old wood shake roof not only looks horrible but it is terribly inefficient as well. I was able to get away with not having to replace it for the past 5 or so. I went to sell my house and this is when I found out that I was not going to be able to sell this to somebody that needed bank financing because the roof just didn't pass. I found out I qualified for a program which allowed me to get my financing in place. The roofing contractors came out and listened to my reasoning for getting a roof which was to just get a good roof on there so I could sell the house. The two quotes that I got were over $25,000 and they wanted to tear off the entire roof and support system and replace all the facia even though that would was in good condition. I was frustrated and then I finally got a hold of Sean from IGreen Remodeling. Sean came out here and actually listened to me and then gave me a quote that came in under $10,000 He said that he would replace the starter board around the roof that had wood rot from being up there for so long and we also identified a few rafter boards that needed replacing. Once we nailed down the terms of the agreement which were quite simple, I got an explanation of what was going to be done and a timeframe. Sean got the job done in three days and I could not be happier.

Gabriel's crew is wonderful and hard working. They did a great job on the hardscaping, though there are still issues with drainage on a patio. Gabriel left my parents and myself hanging. There was an entire corner of the lawn that they never returned to sod, several of the large expensive plants we bought got sick during warrantee and Gabriel did not extend the courtesy of getting back in touch with us to replace them, and the same thing happened with a large red oak, which is now dying. The watering system was not maintainer or properly set up, corners were cut and the lack of communication surrounding something that is EASILY remedied is the most frustrating part. I have written and called no less than ten times, but it appears he is too busy to finalize a $120,000+ project that he said he would over a year ago.

We have running humor that he personally does the squeegee because my driveway is outlined with limestone rocks and he does a masterful job of sealing right up to the rocks without getting sealer on them. There was a section of pavement edge that had been repaired after a retaining support was added 15 years ago. The filler material had dried out, was falling apart and looked horrible. There was really no way to do a quality repair with what was there, so he cut out the entire edge, that had failed and laid new asphalt, which looks great and is a permanent repair. He also filled all the large cracks with a hot applied rubber. He seals with a material that is the only one that is still black after 3 years, by far the best I've had in my 20 years of owning this property. I highly recommend Daley and Son's Asphalt Sealcoating.
