The first issue that I saw was that the quote on the Energy Sage website showed that their quote would meet my electric needs but the actual contract showed a vast difference. (For details, my EnergySage quote cited 17,160kwH in first-year production. On my contract, this was changed to 15k. The 2nd issue was that my contract was all-inclusive, parts, labor, etc. Abundant Sola then reached out to me to say that they needed an additional $1300 because my utility provider, NBU, needed a specific process to be followed that increased their parts/labor. I was surprised that this issue came up because, after all, Abundant Solar was supposed to be the solar expert. I reached out to the electrical engineering group within my utility provider and they shared with me several emails where they highlighted the entire process from start to finish with examples. This seemed unprofessional as they are the solar install experts, but again mistakes happen. The final straw was when Abundant Solar sent me an email with the following: "...we received an email from the city of New Braunfels regarding even more hoops to jump through with many stipulations and restrictions for us to even do business with the city. We are saddened to inform you that due to the City of New Braunfels restrictive guidelines we will not be doing any solar installations within their jurisdiction." Needless to say, I am unable to do business with Abundant Solar because of their inability to adhere to instructions. I read through them and although they are comprehensive I do not believe them to be prohibitive in any way. There is a multitude of houses in New Braunfels that have solar panels so if other companies can figure it out, why can't Abundant Solar? I wish Abundant Solar the best of luck and hope they can get their process ducks in a row as their quote was extremely competitive. I guess this just points to the old addage of, "You get what you pay for."

In 2022 Lighthouse sales was the most upfront of the companies we contacted. The location of our electrical panels on opposite sides of the house and the Austin Fire Dept rules (sadly they don't recognize that Li ion iron phosphate batteries (Enphase...) are safe indoors unlike Li ion NMC (Tesla...) which are prone to thermal runaway fires) made an installation that would meet our goals and Austin Fire rules difficult. A year later in 2023, Corey at lighthouse called us back and informed us that the new Enphase products allowed a reliable solution for us that fit with AFDs rules. This time we limited our bids to Enphase solutions. Once again Corey was the most professional of the sales people we delt with. Lighthouse's bid was competitive and we were given a substantial completion estimate of 6 to 8 weeks. I found our project manager Dale to be very responsive and the installation crew to be professional and on time. Our system was complete, producing power, and connected to PEC, exactly 8 weeks from the day our contract was signed. Kudos to Lighthouse and PEC for getting the whole job done in less time than I've heard just the utility permission to connect taking after the installation was completed. In the month since our system was commissioned we have had sunny and cloudy days, weather alerts, and even a brief grid outage. Our system has performed just as we were lead to expect. In an industry notorious for "used car sales" behavior. I have no hesitation recommending Lighthouse as professional, and reliable with fair pricing.

Another company tried to charge me six times what Lighthouse quoted me for the same service. Thank you Lighthouse for being a honest company with integrity when everyone else is trying to scam the customer.

Spencer Sobolik, my account manager, was very knowledgeable, responsive, and accommodating. He took the time to explain everything clearly, and the entire process went exactly as he described from beginning to end. The installation crew also did an excellent job. I have a new metal roof and was particularly concerned about avoiding scratches or damage, as well as making sure the conduits were routed the way I wanted. The lead installer was very patient, understanding, and accommodating of my requests. The panels are now installed, everything is working as expected, and I'm very happy with the result. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Job well done!

Freedom Power team --…read more THANK YOU! Our system is the best advertisement you -- and Tesla -- could ask for. Our propane-generator neighbors are genuinely envious. There is no comparison. STORM TEST. Tesla installed our original Powerwall last March and Freedom Power added the extension battery this week -- two batteries now. Within hours of finishing, an electrical storm subjected the neighborhood to several hours of brownouts and blackouts. A few grow-lights flickered briefly. None of the clocks needed resetting. No noticeable latency -- Wi-Fi and everything else just stayed up. Except for the lightning and thunderclaps, we hardly noticed the storm. Rate math (FPL RTR-1 Time-of-Use). On-peak grid power runs about 29¢/kWh. Off-peak is about 6-8¢/kWh, and off-peak includes a real credit, not just a smaller charge. PRE-EXTENSION PACK. On our latest bill (1,671 kWh): only 61 kWh on-peak (3.7%) and 1,610 off-peak. The TOU structure saved us roughly $67 (July) versus the same usage with no off-peak credit. Every peak kWh we avoid is worth about 21¢ against off-peak. YESTERDAY'S LOAD TEST. Stove, hairdryer, showers, Instant Pot, TVs, computers, and air conditioning at 77°F -- and we still had 31% battery left at 9 PM, the end of the summer peak window. Under the single Powerwall we often scraped the last two hours and leaked expensive peak kWh. With the second battery, we held the whole peak on reserve with room to spare. When Elon offers vehicle-to-home (V2H) power-sharing in something nicer than the Cybertruck (wife hates the look), we'll add that to the backup stack. Solar roof tiles still feel like overkill for us -- but you've earned enough trust that we might change our minds. I already have one referral in the tunnel. I'll let you know when it lands. Our thanks to Joshua Leathers and the entire team at Freedom Solar Power for their performance and professionalism. God bless, Clark & Jeanne Vero Beach, FL Personable and professional - We cannot recommend him more highly.

The project moved forward steadily: after permits were approved, Atma installed the system in September, and it was approved for use by CenterPoint in November. Overall, I am very pleased with Atma. While there were a few bumps, the team worked through every issue and concern I raised. I specifically recommend their Sales rep for being honest and upfront. The team was also very responsive--not 'emergency' responsive, but I never lost power, so nothing was truly an emergency. I know demand is high right now with the year-end rush, and they handled it well.

After the contract was signed just about 8 days ago, I was smoothly assigned the next person, Mr. Diaz who emailed me a thorough timeline of what to expect right from HOA to Center Point permitting all the way to actual commissioning , post inspections by the City and Center Point.. To be honest, my only concern was that they have been in business for just about 5~ years Vs, other big players, but at the same time their pricing, reviews and consistent follow ups was what swayed my opinion of ATMA over other big players. looking forward to all steps and final installation and system go live by around end of September. Would update the feedback, but so far, so good. Trevor K
