Also, it's very open and I can see all parts of the park so even thought it's not fenced, it just feels safe. The kids love that part of it is a tree that you climb inside. Bathrooms are close so great for potty training toddlers who have to go RIGHT NOW. There are 4 picnic tables in the pavilion, 2 drinking fountains and some sunshades with benches. We had our kids' birthday party there and it went extremely well. Super affordable to rent! The only downside is one parking lot is a flat trek to the playground but a longer one and the other parking lot is fairly close but you have to walk down a big hill and so then also back up. So anyone who is more limited with ambulation or someone who fatigues very quickly may not find this playground particularly accessible. Otherwise it is a super fun and simple playground!

We were the only ones on the playground the entire time-about an hour. Meanwhile we were able to meet a bunch of nice dogs going on long walks. Oak Tree Park pavilion is available to rent through the Brentwood Park system. It's pretty cheap ($60 for non-residents, $40 for residents). There are four picnic benches under the shelter, where the bathrooms are also located.

The playground it self is amazing... that would receive 5 stars. I travel a ton in the US- I have…read morekids ages 6 to 25, so I have been to a lot of parks and this has to rank on the top!!!! But- parking... Brentwood Parks And Recreation needs to align with the city to help with signage for parking. The lot is not large enough (maybe 60 spaces not positive) to have two directions. Even with it being clear to many that the natural flow was counterclockwise, a few felt the need to go against the natural flow. Then the streets around the park were full causing the streets capable of only allowing for a single lane of traffic. Even with a clear flow and literally no room for cars traveling in opposite directions... some attempted to push in, causing longer stand stills. It's like trying to go to the zoo/forest park on the weekends. But the park itself is fun!!! I do wish there was more shaded areas within the park itself. Parking needs to be fixed... there is no way an emergency vehicle could have gotten in to help if help was needed. That is a big concern.

It was busy and parking was tight. There are so much things for kids to do here. It's usually pretty busy with other people walking the perimeter as well as over by the playground, pickleball courts and tennis courts and Rockwell brewery. They often host events on weekends and bike races etc. I love the convince of the park in the city. My dog also loves Francis park ! There are also racquetball and handball courts as well. A basketball court is next to some open fields and there is also a lovely pond you can walk around. They light up the big fir tree next to the pond at Christmas and in the summer there is art in the park! Overall, an awesome spot.

The few times I have needed to use bathrooms here, they have always been clean and easy to use. What I mean by that, they were not stinky and they don't have strange technology that you cannot figure out just to wash your hands. There is plenty of shade if that's what you desire, there are a few benches & tables outside of the busy area, there is food/snacks/drinks if that's what you are looking for also. Summer of 2025, every Thursday there is a market/vendor fair. They have been doing this the last 3 years that I have lived in the area, I hope to catch it soon this year. I have gone out of my way to spend time here, and I'm sure that will not end.
