We ordered the food for takeout. The suja bread was huge and pretty good. It was quite chewy though. The hummus was incredibly smooth and I liked the flavor a lot. The Israeli salad was super fresh and yummy as well. The beef kofta had good flavor and was cooked well. The rice was really yummy. The baklava was also super delicious. I loved the texture and the flavor was so yummy and not too sweet. Would definitely get the food here again.

The food was all delicious as can be seen. The platter was packed with tons of appetizers. The service was alright- we were in a tight corner so our waitress couldn't come around as much..The space is tight, and the lighting is low, I went with family and it was great for a catch up, but I could see it being a nice date night too.

Exceptional, Excellent, Outstanding, packed with flavor, hands down some of the best Mediterranean cuisine I have ever tasted. Just exceptional. We were warmly greeted by Olga upon arrival and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This is a very casual unassuming neighborhood spot with two dining rooms, with an older tin ceiling, one features the bar and an open kitchen with some great tile details. In fact this place has some nice family pictures, flags and interesting sconces that add to the decor. It appears they accommodate large groups. We started with the mezze sampler which can be vegan or meat based. We opted for meat. The falafel and tahini sauce was so delicious. The grape leaves were perfectly cooked to temper any bitterness. I am not a huge grape leaves fan but everything was superb. The cigars were stuffed with meat and were fried to perfection. The sampler came with tabouleh, yogurt, babaganoush, a spicy tomato relish, and a fantastic hummus with a smoky undertone. It was served with a terrifically thin pita. Next up our server Olga suggested we try the Moshakal (Mixed Combination). This was so savory. It has grilled chicken that was marinated perfectly, kafta, lamb, and chicken shawarma. The food we ordered was perfect to share and could have easily accommodated four. The meat combo also was served with rice and a cabbage and corn mix, that was so-so, a bit bland given the standout flavors of the other items. Definitely leave a little room for dessert. Again Olga recommended Osh-Al-Saria, which was a wonderful cake and custard mix topped with crushed pistachios. I probably should have went with the dessert sampler as well but at this point was stuffed. I also had an authentic Turkish coffee, a wonderful ending to a standout meal. Although the restaurant was not particularly crowded for a Wednesday. I noted that the delivery business was very busy and with falafel and meats this tasty it's no wonder.

I've been meaning to try this spot and finally got to. I believe this is the only Israeli Druze restaurant in the city! We went on a Sunday around 5 pm, few people in restaurant but it picked up as it got later. I believe the owner was the one who took care of us. She was very friendly and gave us her recommendations. We ordered the vegetarian platter which was a sampler of cigars, falafel, tabouli, grape leaves, matbucha, labne, babaganoush, hummus. We also ordered the artichoke hearts and the spinach and cheese boureka. Everything was perfect. The boureka was crispy flaky and buttery, fresh with soft salty cheese in the middle. The baba was smokey and charred - we were fighting over this. The artichokes were a bit awkward to eat as well as pricey- with only 3 on the plate - however they were absolutely delicious. The falafel was fresh and crispy - I tend to prefer more herby green falafel and this was definitely more spice forward but none the less it was great. At the end of the meal we were stuffed but the owner insisted we needed to order baklava saying it's the best in the city. We wanted to order to go but she said we had to try it fresh. Worth it definitely, 10/10. It was warm, not too syrupy, so fresh and delicious. It didn't make it through the night we demolished it when we got home. Definitely recommend to all!!

Happy to support the Druze community with the delicious food here. The veggie dishes are really the standouts. We had the artichoke hearts (perfectly crispy and tender), grilled halloumi, Carmel salad (more halloumi!) and hummus with sautéed fava beans. Very into the Druze pita which is light, thin and more like a crepe than bread! My friends had the spinach and cheese boureka and loved; only less than perfect dish was the chicken shawarma, which was spiced nicely but very dry and chewy. Would definitely come back, order veggie only and be very happy! All in all a great neighborhood restaurant with fast service and fresh, yummy and unique dishes. Make a reservation, it definitely gets busy.

I will never get over this meal!!! Hands down one of the best meals I've had since moving to NYC. The flavor on the chicken (and everything honestly) was unreal. Attentive service! Cute ambiance

First time having a middle Eastern meal. This place specializes in Druze cuisine a sub sector of Lebanon. The humus and napkin bread appetizers was the highlight of the meal. The bread is thinner than a napkin that I mistook it for a napkin covering the bread. Breaking it apart was so fun and it was delicious with or without the different dips. We shared 4 meats, lamb, pork, steak and chicken all were good, we had cheese cigars also unusual and good. Would certainly go again and try more items

From start to finish everything missed the mark: The hummus was bland and tasted like someone forgot the spices. The doma (dolmas) were disappointing and didn't have the rich flavor they should. Even the baklava, which should be a sweet highlight, was dry, lackluster, and honestly not enjoyable. The Turkish coffee was so bitter it was almost undrinkable -- if you like bitter coffee, maybe it's your thing, but it wasn't what I expected. They market themselves as Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine, but what I ate didn't come close to what I'd consider good food in that category. My stomach was still growling afterward -- and not in a "I want more" way, but in a "why did I eat this?" way. The staff and service were fine and the atmosphere is pretty, but at the end of the day it's just not worth it when the food itself is so underwhelming. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for authentic or tasty Turkish/Middle Eastern food.

We started with 7 family style small dishes: Hummus with Falafel Pops (chickpea purée, tahini, falafel, olive oil), Spring Burrata (roasted cherry tomatoes, toast, basil oil), Hamachi Crudo (passionfruit vinaigrette, citrus zest, cucumber, mint, sesame tuile), Scallops (carrot puree, serrano pepper, brown butter sauce), Tenderloin Skewer (zaatar chimichurri, fresh herb salad), and Shiitake Stuffed Grape Leaves (tomato coulis, yogurt foam, herbs). Everything was delicious. The hummus was well seasoned the falafel had a nice crunch. It went well with the warm puffy gyro bread that came to the table. The burrata was wasm and creamy. I love the vinaigrette on the fish. I ended up eating most of it. The scallops were the sweetest, most tender ones I have ever had. The tenderloin skewers were tender and well seasoned. I liked the grape leaves but the rice consistency was very soft almost mushy and you can barely tell there were mushrooms. There was barely any mushrooms flavor. Next we all chose an entree. I got the duck breast, my husband and daughter each had the beef tenderloin. The duck breast was smaller than i expected. The skin was nicely seared and very crispy but boy did it give my jaw a workout. It was done medium rare. It was juicy but tough. The small beef tenderloin was tender and smoky. The waiter poured the sauce over the tenderloin for added flavor. Finally dessert was a fruit plate with ice cream and pudding. The fruit was fresh and the flavors of the ice cream and pudding unique. It was a nice end to a good brunch. The price was a little expensive at $85 a person.

Then, I was initially interested in trying the fig pudding for dessert but they were out of it, so I went with the rice pudding. Again, a huge portion that is well worth the price. My friend had the Lamb Shank, and it was equally phenomenal: slow-cooked to perfection, falling off the bone, and bursting with rich, authentic Persian flavors. The saffron rice was fluffy and fragrant, the bread was fresh and warm, and even the appetizers and salads showed real care and attention to detail. We literally cleaned our plates -- not a grain of rice left behind! What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. Musa, the manager, is in a league of his own. Despite the restaurant being absolutely packed on the night we visited, he handled everything with grace, professionalism, and a genuine smile. He made sure we were seated quickly, checked in on us throughout the meal, and made every single guest feel like a VIP. Musa and his team are a powerhouse -- incredibly strong, well-coordinated, attentive, and passionate about what they do. You can tell they take real pride in their work, and that energy radiates throughout the entire restaurant. It's rare to find a place that nails all three -- food, ambiance, and hospitality -- but Ravagh absolutely does. My friends and I left feeling completely satisfied, well-fed, and already planning our next visit. If you're looking for authentic Persian cuisine in a warm, welcoming setting with a team that truly cares, Ravagh is the place. To drink, I ordered the Tehrani Mule; a take on the moscow with a house made ginger lime juice. 8/10; a tad watery. We decided to go family style with ordering and chose the mediterranean salad, kotlet, and falafel to start. The falafel was perfectly crisp with a slightly smoky outer crust that added really great texture and flavor. A bit dry tho -- Needed the hummus and Mezze Platter to dress it up a little. Salad was refreshing, crispy and a great palette cleanser across the table. The combo platter + mixed rice was fabulous. Chicken was tender and came right off the bone (something I'm new to but it was good!). It came with a side of tzatziki and persian zhoug (?) - a minty and herby chutney that just added another layer to the aromatics of the dish. Although the rice was great, it was a really large portion even for the group of 5. It would've been nice to have the option to split to a half portion of vegetables or different grain to balance quantity. Overall 8.9/10 - Definitely worth a visit with a group for business dinner or catching up on a friend's night out.
