I might have been able to shave off 5 minutes if the reception hadn't made so many typos in my paperwork, but at least they gave me a chance to review it before they entered wrong information into their system. Dr. Khan was very thorough and professional. The ease of making an appointment probably has to do with the fact that the practice has 5 physicians on staff.

I completed the long phone intake without hesitation because I truly believed this would be the beginning of consistent, personalized care. On the day of my appointment, I arrived on time and was seen by a Nurse Practitioner who was very thorough. I completed blood work, urine testing, an EKG the full workup. I was told I would receive a follow-up call with my results. At no point during that visit did I see Dr. Cadoo. I assumed perhaps she would come in later, but that never happened. When it came time for my follow-up, I was informed that the Nurse Practitioner I originally saw was no longer there, and I would now be speaking with another Nurse Practitioner. Again, I was understanding. However, once more, I did not see or speak with Dr. Cadoo. I was referred out, but without ever having had a direct interaction with the physician whose practice I had waited months to access. I want to be clear I am not unfamiliar with healthcare. I have over 25 years in the medical field, so I fully understand how practices operate, the role of Nurse Practitioners, and the demands of running a successful brand. I respect that Dr. Cadoo has built something impactful, and I even admire the balance of family and career that many providers strive for. However, at some point, patients need to meet their doctor--especially after such a long wait. If new patients are continuously brought in but never actually seen by the physician, it raises concerns. The frequent staff turnover also felt unsettling, particularly when it comes to continuity of care. This is not about convenience or a casual visit--this is my health. I'm not looking for a place to "check in" every now and then. I'm looking for a provider relationship built on trust, presence, and consistency. I truly wish the practice continued success, but unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations as a patient.

It is still marked on my portal as an Office Visit. But, in the Doctor's After Summary, my visit was marked a Wellness Visit. He submitted to Medicare a claim for $641.52. He split the claim for a short visit for $250.23 and a Wellness Visit for $391.29. The Wellness Visit was denied as I had a Wellness Exam 6 months prior. Now, he is trying to collect the $391.29 from me. He wants me to pay the inflated charge on top of what Medicare would pay for an Office Visit ($142) or the Wellnes ($145). I started receiving bills for this in January 2025, whereas I asked that they recode this as an Office Visit. I also called February and March to this Doctor's billing agent, AHS. They are a medical investment group. So, is this bait and switch? You decide.

So AGAIN I called back about another week and I got the same response. I called AGAIN today (5/2/2024) in the morning. The conversation went like this: Receptionist:"Let me get your info, and we'll give you a call in 2 days". Me: "I should've received my results and I called already 2 times before" Receptionist: proceeded to go through the entire month of Aprils call log to "assure me" that I've "not once after my appointment called to know my results". Like why... In the time that it took for her to go day by day in the call log, she could've just told me my results.
