But parking is paid parking on the street, with spots hard to find. Once the parking situation is resolved, things are great. The vibes inside was awesome - very open, with lots of seating. There seems to be tons of seating options, and outdoor seating as well for when the days are warmer. And for a brewery, the most important thing? The beer, of course! And it was good. We've had their beer before and have always like them. It was great getting some more on draft. Agro pop IPA Yummy!! Panther pale ale OK, but not my fave. I wouldn't get it again. Cheese curds $14 These were delicious, but it did get salty after munching through the plate. We were limiting ourselves to just one drink, and needed more drinks or another food item to mediate our tastebuds. I'd order again with a proper meal or with more booze. Service was super nice, though not quite polished, which I don't mind at all. Points for a nice smilze!

My chicken pesto melt was super flavorful and felt light since the chicken was grilled and the focaccia bun was nice and soft. Fries were average bar fries. David's chicken sandwich was huge! He didn't like the pickles that were on it, or the garlic aioli but chicken and bun were good. I wasn't a fan of my sour (Punch Kissed Parasol) but David enjoyed his beer (Falk Bock). Service was great!

This place is definitely a really unique brewery given that its in a dive bar. You can see the beer tanks right from the bar/tables. They have small batch beers to choose from, and if you finish the batch, your name goes on the board on their wall! For the food, the burgers were great and the fries were even better! They're homemade and I would go back just for a basket of those fries. Their cheese curds were also delicious. We ordered a pickled egg because if that's listed on the menu we had to try one. We loved the staff. Very down to earth and fun to talk to. We even got complimentary key lime pie shots, which they make in house, and they were so good we ordered another round.

Wandering in after the farmers market not far away, on a Saturday afternoon, this place had a few locals at the bar, and a family at a table. While we sat at the bar, a few musicians showed up and began practicing and it was one of the coolest things I've ever witnessed. It felt like being in an Irish pub, with some interesting batched cocktails behind the bar, staff offering samples of their new menu creations, and a fantastic BLT. We ended up staying longer than planned to enjoy the music and take in the vibes. Its dive bar meets family friendly Irish pub, and they even have a night where they sing sea shanties once a month. We are looking forward to going back to explore more!

When I first pulled up to the building it was 7:30am, and they were open. But the windows somehow made it look dark inside, and I literally had to put my nose to the glass to see any activity. Otherwise I might have thought they were closed and kept going (special glass that cuts down glare inside?). Once inside there are several different areas for seating; the bar with stools, the front windows ledge with more stools, or the center area that has larger tables for various size groups. Lots of natural light from the front windows. The interior design, is a bit industrial, well lit, and welcoming. Things were neat and clean. Inside there was a short line to the counter which was right ahead. Took a few minutes to arrive at counter and order. Got a pleasant greeting and help with the order. I ordered the usual London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, and extra foam). They didn't have much in the way of pastries/bakery. They were out of the Coffee Cake, but suggested the Apple Galette supplied by Miss Molly Bakery. They don't have the ability to warm up the bakery, which was a little disappointment. They took their time steeping the tea, which is a good thing. It came with a nice head of foam, had great flavor, and was the right temperature (148F). Texture-wise it could have been a little creamier. The Apple Galette was amazing. The crust was flakey and nicely sprinkled with course sugar. The apples had great flavor and were moist. The atmosphere was relaxed and most people were having quiet conversations. There's a very chill cat (Sugar) roaming around the place, and occasionally keeping people company. Not my favorite, but definitely a place that I would return to.

There was a polka band and they guys walked around singing to all the tables before their set started. Super cool. They have a small kitchen. I was disappointed to learn that they don't make their special flavored cheese curds on Fridays, but the regular ones were just fine and enough for our table to share. There's a little deck in the back that overlooks the Milwaukee River that we were able to enjoy on a beautiful, unseasonably warm day. Overall a nice time here. One kind of weird thing that happened here, which I only mention because it didn't seem like our tour guide was able to handle it in the moment, and they definitely need a system in place to handle guests that are making the rest of the group uncomfortable. There was a guy who kept turning around and staring at people, fidgeting in a way that I recognized as agitation, and kind of pacing. All the parents who had kids in the group realized there was a problem and even though we didn't know each other, kind of formed a line in front of the kids. I'm sure it was a one-off, but there has to be a way to deal with guests like that. Also a little weird that kids over the age of 12 have to pay for the tour, but each of their soda drinks took two tokens, while the adults only used one for beers.
