We have used these Apartments several times and it is Awesome…read moreIt is always clean and plenty of room for guests. The kitchen has all you need to cook as I cooked for the three of us on a photo tour. The showers and bathrooms are very well furnished and always clean, Plenty of room on the living area to relax The four of us came back on another photo tour and it very close to restaurants and groceries. We will booking it again in the future and our friends has just asked about it again as they are planning another trip to the area. We have recommended it to several of our friends and they really loved the Apartments.

During our road trip, we trekked up a storm but at some point between the monsoon, the lightening and the thunder as well as all the mountains starting to blend in together we decided the next state would be Utah. We were deciding on hotel vs Airbnb, we needed a one night rest to get up and continue driving. We opted for Airbnb and came across Dick's place which also had good reviews on Airbnb. We decided to take a chance and hoped he responded. Dick not only responded but he checked on us to make sure we had arrived safely as he knew we had a 5 hour drive from our last stop to his place. Upon arrival, the apartment was clean and free of any smells. There was kcups for coffee in the morning, as well as flavored cream. There were the essentials shampoo, towels, wash cloths, soap, knives, plates, cups, pretty must the necessities of any home. There was a binder that had some local tourism info as well as how far some highlights were from his place along with driving directions. There was ample parking and there were security cameras on the exterior of the property thus giving you piece of mind. Access to the keys was straight forward. It was an extremely nice experience. And lots of space, clean sheets, etc. We will definitely stay with Dick again if traveling back to or through the Utah area.

What a treat! On day 7 of our 12 day trip we enjoyed an isolated evening in a well equipped cabin…read more While planning our adventure I found very limited availability in Blanding UT to put up for the night so I took a chance and am delighted that I did. We first met Bill, the overseer of the 5 cabins. He is a personable chap. We followed him to our cabin, passing by 4 smaller cabins until we saw the most beautiful of all of them and it was ours for the night. Everything we needed was furnished for us except food. Charcoal, wood, matches and bottled water were all here. The cabin was well furnished and included grilling tools. Bill provided plates and utensils as well as a cooler for the ice we purchased at the local grocery store. There is no kitchen. However the bathroom had cool and hot water. Bill even dropped off a thermos of hot coffee in the am! The evening was cool, plenty of comforters for the beds, the sky was clear and the stars were beautiful. You may think you are alone but you aren't. We saw many deer, wild turkeys, a friendly hummingbird and a close by horse. If you find yourself near Blanding, UT, you must stay here. If you book early enough you might get the big cabin which was built by Dwayne. He stopped by shortly after we checked in and we assured him we would take good care of craftsmanship.

The lush surroundings, hospitable hosts (human, canine and feline) and visiting wildlife (we counted 18 deer) topped it off to make this the most pleasant and relaxing experience of our visit to the Four Corners. Thank you, Bill, we look forward to our next stay.

At arrival the unit had a bad propane leak and no one answered the contact number or email for hours. There was no main propane shut off at the cabin. We located the leak as internal at the stove. We turned the gas off there and aired out the cabin until it was safe to sleep in which was a little past midnight. The kitchen door didn't latch and couldn't be locked. We also had an issue with mice in the kitchen. Forget about showering, there was absolutely no water pressure, and only one bathroom had enough pressure to flush solid waste. We ran out of toilet paper since only 1 roll was provided for 16 people. The sinks also drained the grey water right outside the wall to the dirt and not to a septic system. The building wasn't built using commonly safe building practices. One room smelled liked a hamster family had died in or under the room. The tap water was trucked in and given the whole experience we didn't dare drink the water from the tap. One person braved it and ended up with lots of tummy troubles. If you want camping, then camp. Avoid this place unless you want a real shanty barn experience.

The area is nice and quiet. Plenty of fresh air. We also glad that we could bring our two huskies along, for an additional charge. They loved the cooler temperatures at night, in July. The cabin was good enough for 5 adults. The loft area was a lot shorter than i thought it would've been. It's about 3 ft high, so we had to crawl around up here. which was fine, the area would be great for kids. There was an AC, which seems like it needs to replaced, it just blows out warm air. But that didn't matter, because during the warm hours, we were outside in the shade. Even in July you just need to open the windows at night to cool the entire cabin down. The place was clean, but not to our standard of clean for a chain. We just clean a bit more, to our liking. The pots and pans are useable, they also need to be replaced, as well. They did have everything we needed. The hosts did have a booklet of all the house rules. As well as information on the two towns near by. This was my first "house rental" booking and the experience was great! communication with the host was clear and concise. I figured since the host lived in the area we would be checked on, we weren't. And that was great! that put me at ease. I can't wait to book this same cabin or one of the others soon.
