Cheap car wash place that has monthly plans . When this location first opened, I had signed up for the cheapest monthly plan so I could wash my brand new, white corolla. Although after a while, I find myself not frequenting it enough. Basically it was $20/mo and you can go as many times you want in the month with a little sticker / chip stuck on your car. After canceling my subscription, I go maybe once a month for $8. As a warning, this place seems to always be packed, no matter what time of day. So expect to be waiting at least 15-20 minutes. Overall, it gets the job done. There may be some spots missed but the vacuums work pretty well. I've been to others that are not as powerful. Honestly, one of the best car washes I've ever had the privilege of driving through. It's fast, easy, and inexpensive. The machines inside the wash are new and well maintained. Most of the carwash is automated, just select the wash you like and go. Or in my case, I purchased and continue to pay for a monthly unlimited access pass. There are various levels, but I like the $31.99 a month since it scrubs my tires. Also, the vacuum system is advanced and free. Unlimited use. No rushing. Take your time. Either way, this is a welcome addition to the once dead corner of Lakewood & Willow. There's also a Subway to feed you after working so hard vacuuming your car. My favorite car wash!! I'm a pilot, and this car wash is airplane themed. So, naturally, I enjoy it, although I might be a little biased. They have good options and for a basic wash and wax it's only $8. Budget wash is $6. In the off season they offer $1 off business class and up after sunset. My only complaint... the lines get pretty long here. I won't reduce my rating for that though, the business itself can't help that. The vacuum stalls are often times all occupied and you have to wait. Once again, this isn't the business' fault... I know we are in the city and space is limited. My only other thought; the airport code for Long Beach Airport is LGB. The car wash is "LBG," I've always wondered if someone was dyslexic. It kind of bothers my OCD a little. LOL read more

I've been with them for a year now. I've purchased one of their monthly memberships as I was my car at least once a week if not twice when I drive for uber. They take care of this place. I've seen multiple additions and maintenance done since I've been here. They do their best to provide top service and keep not only their car wash clean, but the entire property. They wipe down the credit card machines, sweep up any garbage left behind and give you a handy wipe with every wash. Update: a year and a half later, I'm forced to update my review. A year and a half of coming weekly to wash my truck and suddenly, quite suddenly, my vehicle is too big. We come here so often that we recognize many of the employees and even notice when someone new has been hired or when we haven't seen certain employees for a while so they must've moved on (or maybe they didn't "fit" either). This is seriously one of the very very few express washes in Long Beach that my truck DOES fit in, hence the below mentioned subscription (which has been canceled as of today). The owner had us back out today saying we don't fit, I asked what has changed in the last year and a half that we suddenly don't fit, and he seemed surprised that we've been coming here that long. What's funny (but not really funny because I'm upset) is that there have been a few times before when they said "you might not fit" and yet they allow us through, they walk through the wash along side our vehicle, making sure that we don't mess anything up, and at the end of the wash- Hallelujah! They always say, "Huh, you did fit!" And twice they even added, "you should get the membership!" So suddenly, yes suddenly, today we don't fit. So, here we are, frustrations vented, subscription canceled. April 2019: This is the best express car wash in Long Beach! The staff is friendly, the wash is pretty thorough, and the prices are fair. I have the monthly subscription for both of my trucks, and as long as I go weekly, its definitely worth it. Its also not difficult to cancel (especially for the winter months when washes are further apart). Both vehicles are lifted and have slightly wider tires, and they fit through the wash (although one of them just barely!). What I really love about Long Beach Green, is how much more environmentally friendly they are in comparison to their competitors. They recycle water, using 90% less fresh water than most other car washes and they use eco-friendly chemicals! Go read about it in their website. Don't get me wrong, this place is pretty good. Friendly staff, good suction on the vacuums, and convenient location. The only reason I don't come here anymore because inside the wash, the first spinning brush that's supposed to scrub your car, doesn't work. Everytime I come, my car comes out great on the left side, bit the right side could do with another wash. I've started going to another car wash, the new one on Paramount and Del Amo, AND they're doing a great job. It reminds me of what LBG Car Wash once was. Just left this car wash. The younger kids who work here are wonderful but the owner or whoever is in charge has once again been a total jerk. Chased me down and told me to roll down my window not giving me time to put on my mask asking me if I paid for my car wash? I said yes and he wanted to see my credit card because I guess man behind me claimed he paid twice. Multiple times I've not been charged this car wash and I tell them instead of just going through for free and this is how they continue to treat people after I've now rolled down my window and it has water spots on it because of him and he didn't even apologize once he realized that I did pay. I was put out in the cold to wait for AAA to arrive. It was dark and cold outside, I went to the office to call AAA for help. I accidentally locked myself out of my car while vacuuming. There was a nice young man in the office who allowed me to use the phone to call AAA for help. Been bringing my Mercedes wagon here for a wash every couple weeks, or so, for a year and have been pretty happy. Brought my truck in today and received a worthless $15 wash....what a waste of money and time. Paid for the prestige wash and received half the treatment....asked the manager why the brushes and shammies didn't touch the grill and hood of my truck and was told it was because of the antenna....not one mention that I would receive anything less than the prestige wash that I paid for as the truck went into the wash. Apparently to receive the wash I paid for they needed to remove the antenna, (which is an option). When I asked the manager what happened, he said that's just the way it is... No offer to re-wash, nothing....told him I wasn't coming back, his response was "that's fine"....what kind of business says "that's fine" when losing a long-time retuning customer instead of simply offering to make sure you receive what you've paid for? I didn't have any problems with this car wash. It's cheap and fast and it's a good place to wash your car if it's just average dirty. It didn't wash off all the bugs at the front of my car (drove back from the Bay on the 5 so you can imagine the massacre of dead bugs) but I'm not too upset about it. You get what you pay for, don't expect a brand new car after paying for a basic $8 wash! If your car is super dirty get it detailed some place else.
