Rafael was excellent with communication, very professional, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and clearly experienced in what he does. He took the time to explain the work, answer questions, and make sure everything was done correctly. His crew was just as impressive. Everyone arrived in company shirts, they brought the proper equipment for the job, and they even provided their own portable restroom. The entire operation felt organized, efficient, and professional. You could tell this was a legitimate business that takes pride in its work and in how it presents itself at a customer's home. The quality of the landscaping and hardscape work exceeded my expectations, and the project moved along efficiently without sacrificing attention to detail. I'm very happy with the finished result and would absolutely use Rafael's Landscape again. Highly recommended.

Very easy to work with but I made it clear prior to starting the job that the new pilar needed to match due to HOA. We knew it wouldn't match 100% but this is clearly a different color. This maybe a long read but it's 100% non-solicited review of a fantastic contractor. I recently was introduced to Big Johnson's Concrete and Pumping through my pool contractor. We needed to get our driveway replaced. Kevin came in and bid the job and provided a very reasonable and respectable quote which included the driveway approach/apron. In my city, public works scrutinizes the contractors for approach work thankfully. The other competing contractors on my job would not take not the approach work for either not possessing the proper bond or expertise. Kevin worked with the city and our HOA to get on board. The work came out so well the Public Works department provides Big Johnson's as a referral for other residents looking to pull an approach permit/plan. The driveway worked out so well I contacted Kevin two months later to tackle the hardscape work for my front yard landscape/hardscape project. He just finished up a fantastic wash finish expanded front porch and walkways. I couldn't be happier. His crew is fast and work well together. The guys putting down the forms know what they're doing getting proper grades and pitches set for water sheeting. The finishers are top notch and have a great attention to detail. All led by Kevin who is in the trenches with his team getting dirty. He leaves your property clean even picking up every nail he pulls from forms when breaking down. He always answers the phone when I've called with questions or asking for clarification and asked me to reach out now after the job anytime should I need help or questions about his work. Victor was exceptional with communication throughout the process and always made sure to confirm details with me before moving forward. His son Sebastian and daughter Penelope were also with him every time he visited the project. All three were extremely kind, professional, and a pleasure to work with. It took 6 weeks for a different crew to finally show up. Not a great experience - they took out a drain that was supposed to have been left, put another drain in a wrong place, and badly sloped the back part of the property after insufficiently removing excess dirt. My back door now scrapes on the pavers when I open it. The sand was not done properly so I have weeds growing around my drains and along the house. They also left my garage door open when they dumped the gravel/sand, resulting in everything in my garage being covered in a thick layer of dust. And the kicker - when they finished the project, they left a pallet of extra pavers in my driveway, blocking my garage for 6 MONTHS. Victor then sent yet a different crew to do my front patio area. They were not able to do my stairs as promised. Would have resulted in stairs that were 9" instead of the 7" which is code. Worst part is that after the crew left, I discovered that 2 of my irrigation pipes were broken in 5 places. Victor promised to have someone come fix it - his subcontractor refused so he asked me to have my gardener do it and said he would pay him directly. My gardener did the work and despite over 2 MONTHS following up, was never paid. I finally paid my gardener the $400 for the screw up that Belman Pavers made. Months later, I am still trying to get Victor to pay me back. He will not pick up when I call nor will he respond to my texts. Buyer beware! DO NOT USE BELMAN PAVERS! Victor will tell you a good story but will bait-and-switch the crew, underperform, and will not honor his word.
