The bigger issue was the bill: our group was charged 20% gratuity even though the menu clearly stated 18%, and the explanation we got was unclear and undocumented. We also had a reservation, but the staff seemed unprepared for our group. Some great food, but the inconsistencies and billing issue left a bad impression.

Big, juicy, and piled with smothered mushrooms plus all the classic burger fixins'. It came with house-made chips seasoned with Cajun and they were SO good. Flavorful, a little kick, but not overpowering. My kids both got Cajun-seasoned fries with their meals and they weren't spicy at all, just really good flavor. One had the cheeseburger (which was huge for a kids meal) and the other had mac & cheese. The mac was good, just not my favorite thing on the table -- but that might just be me being picky. My husband ordered the pepperoni and hot honey flatbread and that was a sleeper hit. The sweet heat combo was perfect. Service was great. Drinks stayed filled, food came out in a good rhythm, and we never felt ignored. The vibe inside is what I'd call an upscale diner. Cloth napkins, nice lighting, clean, comfortable. You could do a casual date night or bring your kids like we did and feel fine either way. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the pricing. $17 for a burger without fries feels a little steep, and adding fries for $3 extra adds up fast. Kids meals at $8 felt fair though. They do have happy hour every day, which is a nice touch.

We had some craft cocktails- the Pink Lady and the Pink Pedal. Both were tasty but I preferred the refreshing citrus in the pink pedal on a hot day. We ordered a charcuterie board w the whitefish dip for an appetizer and the beet salad and Mediterranean pizza for our meal. The board was just OK. Two types of cheese, two slices each; two types of meat; three slices of those. Honey mustard; jam; raisins and a few corn snacks. Not enough crackers (4) for what we had. The whitefish was already a $4 upcharge; and we asked for extra crackers, it was another $3 charge. Most folks don't eat whitefish dip straight so that was a miss in my opinion. A $24 appetizer is a lot. The beet salad was all arugula and pretty good with a tangy dressing. The pizza did not come with cheese; so that was another upcharge. And its topped with more tangy arugula so that's on us for not realizing how many greens we had ordered. The service was friendly and attentivefor the most part. We had hoped to order their cheesecake but the server got tied up with other tasks outside and we had a fixed time frame so by the time she came back we had to leave. Would I come back? Perhaps to sit at the bar and have some drinks and appetizers. I don't know that I would order meals again. Owners should pay attention to the nickle and diming as it does tarnish the experience. Pizzas by nature should come w cheese even if its optional. If you upcharge for dip on the board pay attention to what the patron might need w that additional item. $3 for some extra crackers to go w the dip is excessive.

It was very muffled. Like give a toddler a mic. Wasn't there for any of that, so it whatever. Waitress was great! Except, she kept getting stuck behind the bar, clearly there is a policy of leaving the bar unattended. Except that wasn't her job. I watched how she was trying to get to us many of times, and couldn't. She get a 10/10 easy 5 star review. Food... Disgusting is to say it nicely. My husband wouldn't even bring it home to give my dogs, as we both fear we will end up sick, and we didn't even eat half of it. He doesn't want our dogs to feel the way we feel. By far the worst food we had. Ever. I got a side salad. It was fine, I'll know more in the next day or 2. I also got cheese curds, I didn't get through a few, before I was feeling sick. My husband got a BBQ burger and fries . He tried to eat it, and didn't even make it halfway. He ate a couple fries, and again, so gross. Maybe old oil? No season? I don't know. Just when you think the fun is done. We did keno, during our wait, and they gave us the wrong amount back, and didn't run my new ticket and tried to keep the money. Again, this wasn't the waitress, it was the disappearing bartender. I don't recommend going here. I payed my bill, and got my receipt. Waitress got a great tip, and then I told her how gross the food was. She was very apologetic. I told her it was not her fault at all. I hope no one eats there, or they clean their oil, and learn to make a burger. They are not hard make. Most of the time, even a crappy one is still edible. Not in this case.

Everyone from the hostess to the waiter was amazing and friendly. Our waiter, Giorgio M, went above and beyond to help us have a wonderful Easter breakfast, he was on top of our large order, and the food was delicious and came out very fast for how busy the place was! The guava lemonade and lavender lemonade were tasty, shout out to Giorgio for recommending the Monte Cristo and the house made lavender lemonade! Try out the short rib Benedict on a biscuit or the omelet version - it was scrumptious and we ate every bite! We will be back for sure and hope Giorgio is there when we do. We texted our friends our order and were 20 minutes out when the table was ready. They refused to seat our group, demanding we all be there because the table would then be taken up too long (even though our friends had our order and food takes time to cook ANYWAYS). We got to the restaurant and ended up waiting another hour just to be able to get a table that we had been waiting for an insanely long amount of time. There is no flexibility, humanity, or understanding with this restaurant. Only robots who "have policies" and are "sorry - that's just the way things are." Honestly, McDonald's is better at this point. At least the food is on par with the shit service at McDonald's. No point in nice breakfast if the people aren't even.kind
