Piacci Eatery - Vinaio

Piacci Eatery

Hands down, Piacci Eatery offers one of the best sandwiches in Central Florida…read more We've been long time fans of Vinia, where Fabio and his team craft incredible dishes inspired by Italian and Portuguese influences. Piacci is a pop-up during the daytime, offering salad, sandwiches and pastas. We have now eaten at Piacci four times for lunch and we will keep coming back. Our favorite is the Vinaio sandwich: Mortadella, Crema Pistacchio, Burrata, Arugula. The bread is so perfect because it doesn't hurt your mouth like so many toasted sandwiches do lol. The pastas, salad, and meatballs are also fantastic, and the service is like you're visiting family. Fabio and his team deliver excellent quality every time. You can dine in or order for pickup. We love dining in because it always feels like we've left Orlando and are sitting in a quiet Italian cafe in Europe. You must go check this place out and try the Vinaio.

The pasta and sandwiches and everything else we've had here has been really fantastic and we've come back so many times for lunch. It's really a secret spot that I'm not sure many know about yet. You can even order ahead and I think they're on Uber Eats now. Totally worth checking out on Th/Fri for lunch (or even going to Vinia for dinner- their main experience which has also been great food and hospitality). Can't want to go back to try more. Definitely a must try!

The courses were perfectly timed and portioned, the wine pairing was fantastic, and I would happily have every single course all over.

The only time available for reservation is at 7pm, and only a set number of tables are served at that time. We start with olives as the appetizer, which were surprisingly enjoyable, I normally hate olives but these taste more like olive oil rather than actual olives. Only thing was it was a little saltier than I would have liked. Next was the salad, which was one of the better dishes. It was light, refreshing, and different tastes and textures with the crunchy corn. For the proteins, overall lots of great flavors and is cooked to perfection. My only complaint, again, is that too much salt is used for my liking. The first bite is the best, but then you start to feel it, the need for water. Finally the dessert were picarones, fried sweet potato with a fruit syrup. I was not a fan of the donut to syrup ratio, theres way too much syrup, but at least it's a nice contrast of sweet and crispy golden on the outside, and soft and moist on the inside. I also liked the quantity of the food, had leftovers to take back which is a lot for a Michellin star restaurant.

Brunch Review 2026!…read more It's a Saturday in late April 2026 and the Orlando Magic are taking on the #1 rated Detroit Pistons! My brother and I deliberate days before on meeting up and with little hesitation, we opted for the Ravenous Pig! Securing a table reservation we instead opted to sit on the pub side where the TVs are. Soon after sitting down, we were greeted by Christina who was our server for the afternoon! Now this is Brunch Mode at the Ravenous Pig with a brunch style menu and beautiful rays on Sunshine which can feel quite different if you're used to having meals or drinks here for dinner where it can be quite busier and a different vibe! Today's visit was comfortable in the pub, lite in the dining room floor and nearly full outside in the beer garden. I settled in with the current version of the Gin and Jam! It tends to change as products become available with the underlying truth being a lite and refreshing cocktail to start with. This version is well done overall! Food wise we started with the Croquettes which had a sausage in them which brought good flavor paired with the crunchy exterior and white sauce on the plate resulted in an appetizing dish. Continuing on, the Sparkling Tea on menu is fantastic! As a side beverage or even mocktail form, it's a great Bev. We went with that and with the Magic game about to start, I went with the IT GOES TO ELEVEN cocktail! Boozy, Bright and Veracious! With these drinks in hand, we decided to move forward with more food and after consulting with Christina, we went with the Huckleberry pancake and the miso butter ribs. Without a doubt, the Huckleberry pancake was the standout star of the two dishes! A light pancake with great flavor and depth that doesn't fill you up but is a great sweeter dish that I can see Incorporated with a more savory brunch item like bacon and eggs as an example. Overall a great time for brunch! Shout out to Brian, Costa (the GOAT) and Scott for keeping it real and just being great individuals overall!

Ravenous Pig in Winter Park is a solid experience. The staff was great from start to finish and the…read morecraft cocktails were wonderful, definitely worth exploring the menu a bit. The snapper collar tacos were the star of the show. Easily enough to share between two people, with fresh fish and really good homemade corn tortillas. The fish of the day was also excellent and the fresh ciabatta with garlic butter was hard to stop eating. The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. The chicken salad was just alright, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. Parking can be a little tough in the area, but the complimentary valet makes it much easier. I love that they have a quicker option out back with the beer garden, you can't go wrong!
