The only downside I have to say about today is because they have a baby shower and every table on the inside is being taken up by this 50% baby shower along with half of the tables outside and I don't wanna listen to their baby shower or any other people with their children I just wanted to sit for a drink and they have taken over like three of the tables with the umbrellas and I know it's not à la carte's fault but it's really I will not be getting any food today, but I did take a sip margaritas, sparkling coconut margarita to go because I would like to try it later. If you haven't been here at this place is honestly great however, right now there's a little bit lack of parking due to the very large baby shower party inside; I'm not sure if you can park at the parking lot across the street because they do have towing signs, but it is a really nice location when you can find a place to sit.

I Choo Choo Choose one or the other, but not Both. The platter with brisket and pork belly was good. The brisket was legit good brisket, but the pork belly was a bit tough and overdone. The sides and pickles and other stuff they added were all good and made for a good presentation and filling lunch. I enjoyed the Donut and I enjoyed the BBQ, but the combination donut/bbq sandwich just didn't work. Nothing was good enough where I crave going back though.

We let him know it was our first time here and he gave us two menus and let us know after each meal you get a free fresh glazed donut. Already off to a great start! After 11 AM they serve their full menu plus a brunch menu on weekends only. They have a robust BBQ menu from platters to sandwiches and everything done in-house including their sauces. Plus, you can order house baked donuts and even build your own with toppings of your choice. It's very casual, and they have a pretty stocked bar and serve espresso drinks. After we ordered at the counter, took our number and sat down, we were given a pork rind to nosh while we sat. Now, I don't care for them, but other diners seem to enjoy and it was a nice and amuse-bouche ;) I'm a sucker for brunch so I ordered the Smoked Turkey Breast, egg and cheese sandwich with runny yolk. It was PHENOMENAL! For only $12 (in today's inflated economy) I was presented with a soft, large potato bun housing tender, perfectly seasoned turkey carved - not deli-style and sliced - thick and juicy steak-cut style. Melted on top was a thick Gouda cheese slice, a perfectly cooked "runny" egg topped with fresh cranberry sauce. I can't say enough about my meal, the presentation and service! They are very intentional to let you know you do NOT bus your own table, they take care of everything even though you order at a counter. The after meal treat of a glazed donut was not only tasty and fresh, but a nice and unique touch and ending to a fantastic lunch. They just started a rewards program for birthdays and texts for specials. I will definitely be going back!

The trucks change out pretty frequently, so check out the participant listing, too!! This is a great way to get a taste of Orlando all in one place. There are about 15 - 20 trucks on average, at each event. Personal faves include La Empanda and pretty much any truck that has sweets. We just tried the Cake truck (I'm drawing a complete blank on the name - I'll circle back with an update on that) and the Hot Fudge Sundae cupcake was ridiculously good! They block off a good section of parking lot for this event, so there is plenty of space to bring folding chairs and a small table (recommend this actually). At the very least, bring some sports chairs with cup holders. The lines can get pretty hefty on some of the days, so try to arrive early and hop in line at your faves to ensure you get what you are looking for to eat. We like to divide and concur. He'll go to one truck and I'll wait at another, and we'll regroup at a chosen place. This works well on busy days. Overall: A A fun event, family / pet friendly, and plenty o' food to nom on!

While I was a little slow to hop on the Smash Burger bandwagon, I am so glad I finally caught up, because wow! And Irregular Smash has really cornered the market on their smash burger selections. With them setting shop just outside the Ivanhoe Brewery parking lot, the owners got to know quite a few of us because our social tennis league (Tennis on Tap) would meet every Tuesday evening for our seasonal matches. This meant we were no strangers at Irregular Smash. By the time they left, which was a couple of months ago now, my teammates and I had tried nearly everything on their menu, and not one thing we tried was bad. The quality of food their team provided was exceptional. Everything tasted amazing. They were awesome and always just fun and supportive of our tennis trials and tribulations. I also loved that they got to learn our names, too. Made the experience of patronizing their business even more special. Price points were reasonable as well. If you don't eat meat, they also offer an Impossible Smash Burger option - great for the vegan folks (like my mom)! I was a regular patron of their OG Smash and Truffle Attack Fries. I am definitely sad to see them leave the parking lot of Ivanhoe Brewery, but I am happy to know they will be coordinating pop-ups all throughout the Orlando and surrounding areas in the coming days. I look forward to seeing how they grow, and maybe one day they will have their own brick-and-mortar. Until then, I'll be on the lookout via their social media account for where they'll be next because they made a lifetime fan out of me.

We did take our food to-go but enjoyed a beer from the brewery while we waited for our food. The staff at Irregular Smash were so kind and had me smiling through our whole process of ordering. Genuinely some really nice people work there! The burgers were SO DANG GOOD. I would absolutely come back here, but I think I would rather eat there because the whole area is a vibe. The Firestarter is a bit spicy so just be aware of that when you order. The Truffle Freak was my absolute favorite!! I am a sl*t for anything that has truffle in it, and their truffle aioli is FANTASTIC. My only piece of advice when visiting here would be to check the events happening at the brewery before going. Sometimes there are markets or events occurring that limit the parking. The events also usually add to the fun environment though!

We went to Ivanhoe Park Brewing specifically to try out this truck and we're so pleasantly surprised by the casual, charming and inclusive brewery. But the Simmer Down food was the highlight! The taco was really next level good. And the churro was sweet and delicious. Only reason I can't give them 5 stars is the fries were soggy and not my favorite. The burger was perfectly cooked, the toppings were on point, and the fries were decadent and jam packed with truffle flavor. 10/10 food without question. What made it even better? They seem to be a permanent fixture to the little food hall. We ordered the Huli Huli chicken bowl with brown rice and the Tempura shrimp bao. The food took about 20 minutes to cook, which sticks, but the biggest issue I had was the bowl was ready about 7 minutes before the bao and sat in the window for that time. Why not tell us so we could enjoy it hot? It sat and was cold by the time I got it. The rice was mushy and taste like boil in a bag junk. It also said it came with pineapple, which I could only find three half nibs in the whole bowl. The bao were pretty good, but so drenched in sauce that we could barely taste the shrimp and accompaniments. The meal was so disappointing I only ate a few bites and couldn't continue. I won't be back.

We saw that they had a BOGO deal on UberEats and both opted to try the Poke Burger with tuna and the krab rangoon. I absolutely devoured the krab rangoons, which luckily kept their signature crispy exterior even though they were delivered and not eaten right at A La Cart. The sauce was tangy and a perfect complement to the homemade creamy krab dip. The Poke burger with tuna was a generous size and consisted of crispy rice buns stuffed with tuna/salmon/ or tofu (we got tuna), kai salad, avocado, eel sauce, sesame seeds, and spicy mayo. It definitely packed a kick, but the avocado kept it from being too spicy for me! The only drawback for me was the crispy rice is on the oily side, but truly this is a huge serving and is really tasty. This is the spot if you're looking for fusion poke options served in bao buns, ceviche, and burger form.
