Bad attitude from the waitress along with the worst airport food I have ever had. If you enjoy waitresses throwing the plate at you, eggs that taste like they have been sitting under a heat lamp for a week and turkey sausage that makes you wish you were chewing on a hockey puck instead than this is the place for you. I am questioning their bartending skills as well as I ordered an old fashion and got a glass of cheap whiskey instead. My suggestion. Go anywhere else. And I mean anywhere. Lunch menu had interesting choices and if I had not already eaten I would say the roasted red pepper and Gouda soup sounds good. I did not try it but it would have been what I ordered. I got a seat right away at the bar and had to wait a little bit for the folks next to me to settle their bill. The Caposaldo Pinot Grigio is nice and crisp. $16 for a 6 ounce glass. We have eaten here before (in 2023) and it was so much better. This time the food and the service were awful. Service issues: What happened to service with a smile? Especially when you expect a tip at the end of it all. Took them 15 mins to get our drinks. Took them 45 mins to get our food - glad we had time before our flight. Once we got 3 of the 4 plates.... took another 10 mins for the 4th plate. Food issues: One of the sandwiches didn't have the sauce on it. Both sandwiches were sooooo dry! The chicken died twice that day! Ugh! The only positive was the fries but it's probably because we were starving by the time we ate anything. My first time at Gastrohub prior to a rainy Monday morning flight back home from Orlando Airport, and I was very impressed. It had been a Mexican restaurant, some national chain, if I'm not mistaken, the last time I had been in the terminal. The team was friendly and pleasant, and I was seated right away and promptly greeted with a hot cup of coffee and a recommendation for breakfast drinks. The Bloody Mary was flavorful and layered, and I enjoyed my breakfast burrito, which came quickly. Despite it being busy, my server was wonderful and attentive. Airport food is never inexpensive, but the price was totally fine. I appreciated the craft beer options and had both available from Crooked Can Brewery (a FL microbrewery with which I was not familiar). The menu looked good, and next time I am departing MCO, I will make sure to return. Thanks for a very lovely time. read more

Had a good experience. Located inside airport on B side gates 1-59 area. Service was good and fast. The aperol spritz drink was great. The cheeseburger was tasty, fresh and cooked to order. Burger with fries is $21 bucks and drink was $16... typical airport prices. They have a full bar and drink specials. Wide variety on menu and even have cheese steaks now. If I could zero stars I would. I had the worst food poisoning of my life, and to make matters worse, it was on the plane. This place should change their name to Gastro Toilet, because that is where you will be spending your time. I did check the Florida health inspections report on this "fine" establishment but to my surprise there zero reports. I find that extremely odd. My course of action is to contact the Florida health department directly. Their doors should be closed if they continue to serve food that causes illness I beg you NOT to go there. read more

Deadly slow for airport food service. Nearly an hour from seated to food for a party of three. With a tiny menu, this is almost inconceivable. One server on each half of the restaurant--they were hustling and clearly overworked. That said, one of our three orders was missing something and it was a good 15 minutes before we spotted our server again. Breakfast sausage was grey instead of brown and just a sad display, like microwaved. Bread for the avocado toast was hard and stale. Everything felt sub-par and lacking in any kind of care or attention. We had time for a sit-down meal before our flight but regretted coming here pretty fast. If you're going to have a tiny menu and charge airport prices, staff up and do it right. The rest of y'all, stick with the fast food options in the terminal. The food was mediocre, even by airport standards. With a name like GastroHub, and a $21 price for a plate of tenders, you'd expect fresh made chicken tenders at least on par with fast food. But these were nowhere near as good as chains like Golden Chick, Chicken Express, or even Raising Cane's. I'd nearly guarantee they were frozen out of a bag. Same with the potato wedges served as a side. Plus, it was nearly 20 minutes from the time we ordered till I got my beer, and nearly 40 minutes for the food to show up. Luckily, we had a long enough wait till our flight, but that's unacceptably slow service for an airport restaurant. Probably would have been better off going to Wendy's. Might not have gotten a beer, but the chicken tenders couldn't have been any worse. Would not go back. read more

we ordered 2 alcoholic drinks and a side of broccoli, and glasses of water for all four in our party. Total charge on my credit card was 43.$ including tip which seems excessively high almost fraudulent. Waitress sighed in disappointment when she heard our order. She did not even bring a glass for the beer (which came in a can) , until we asked for a glass. the broccoli was delicious. Staff needs training on how to provide better customer service. Service was extremely slow. Food was ok, but not worth the price. Their fryers were down, so half the menu was not available. I ordered a hamburger and asked if I could get coleslaw in place of french fries. They charged me an additional fee for the substitution without telling me. They just added it to the bill. What can be said about an airport restaurant, there's typically nothing special about it. Gastrohub is unfortunately no different than countless other airport restaurants across the nation. We came in around lunch and they were fairly empty. We did have his stroller but were told pretty curtly we couldn't bring it in and to leave it outside. We were seated by a window which we appreciated since our five year old likes to look at planes. The server came by fairly quickly to get our drink order. Nothing special about the greeting or service, she seemed tired of doing her job and probably dealing with countless tourists. Once she came back with a few large beers we ordered a few apps. Chicken Fingers and Cheese Curds. They came out and as expected nothing special. They filled a void in our stomachs and gave us a chance to sit and relax before our flight. Whether fair or not, I'm basing my rating on the fact that this is an airport restaurant (in an honestly horrific airport at that). If this was in the outside world I would rate them much lower. If I'm flying through MCO again, I might stop but probably just for a drink. read more

Typical airport eatery with full breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Food is average or slightly above. Service was Ok though a bit rushed....typical though, not bad. Enough space so you don't feel like you are sitting shoulder to shoulder Since this didn't appear anywhere on Yelp it must be new so that works. Bloody marry was good though. Update same day- After waiting for 4o minutes after ordering I had to pay for my drink and leave without breakfast. Folks around me that came after me were served and leaving, I would say if you have well over an hour to wait, this might have been a viable option but come on, such poor back of the house management is just inexcusable when everyone has flights to catch. We stopped in here while waiting for our flight. Cadance was a delightful lady who served us. It was Thanksgiving day. We shared a bowl of roasted pepper and Gouda soup and a grilled chicken Caesar salad. Both were really great. The chicken was tender and the salad not over dressed. I would have given 5 stars but the ambiance was very noisy. We were seated by the kitchen and it was slow so the staff was really loud and made it hard for us to carry on a conversation. Ordered the wedge salad. It was the saddest salad I have ever seen! It was a plate of lettuce and some bacon with maybe 4 bits of tomatoes. No flavor at all. I got a wrap with fries and a beer on tap. They were very busy when I stopped in. Note that the bar and hi top tables are walk-up, so don't stand in line to be seated if you don't need to. Please do not go here. I went earlier today to get lunch at the airport and my brother had a burger. It was the only thing he had that day. Gastrohub made him get food poisoning and made him barely be able to walk. If you are saying "it's probably the plane that made him sick" nope. Right before we took off he threw it all up so it was 100% the restaurant. My brother is very sick and hurting so please do not go here unless you want to have food poisoning. The only reason i'm giving this a one star is because i have to and the service was good. I did not eat at this place because i got something else and so did my other brother. My dad mom and brother got all different meals. It was just the burger that made my brother puke everywhere and made him get food poisoning. I do not recommend this place in Orlando International Airport. Also why are you guys still a business when most of the people who left a review gave it a one star like PLEASE SHUT DOWN. I normally don't review airport restaurants because the food and service is often lacking BUT. We got such great service when I was there that she deserved a shoutout. Wendoly (hope I got that right) was amazing. We got seated by the window and the AC was not working correctly so it was quite warm. She was so kind, engaging and honest about what was going on. She brought us several waters to help out with the heat and came and checked on us regularly. She was honestly the best server I have ever had in any airport restaurant I've been to and actually seemed like she enjoyed being there. She just made a semi unpleasant experience a little bit better. The food was actually quite good. I got the chicken sandwich. Can't remember the exact name or find the menu to look it up but I enjoyed it. Due to the AC situation and how hot it was I feel like the host seating anyone next to the window was short sighted. There were a million other tables and that just didn't really make sense to seat us, or anyone for that matter in those seats and I'm not sure if it was the host or management at fault but definitely an adjustment to be made in the future. We also heard a small argument between a server and I'm assuming the manager about a miscommunication regarding them going home early. It wasn't that serious but could have been had in the back instead of in front of everyone. We frequent this airport a lot because we are Florida locals. We have been to Gastro Hub many many times. Amy D. Was our server this time and had HORRENDOUS customer service. She brought the wrong wine and said she poured it out of the proper wine bottle but it was definitely Sauvignon Blanc instead of Chardonnay. Instead of just apologizing she gave us attitude so my wife had to go buy an actual glass of Chardonnay from the bar to get the correct wine. We have had many great experiences here but this time was terrible. We tip well and I own my own business so I understand customer service more than anyone. She did take the incorrect wine off of our tab which was nice of her but still, we are locals.....not tourists. Treat people better regardless. Drunk, bald waiter throws glass at me to them scream at me. When: Monday 6:30pm local time Who: bar staff, bald man pictured and bar waiter with brown hair and circular glasses. Sitting at the gastrohub bar (terminal B) and the waiter threw threw glass at me. He threw a few water glasses, landing into a group of other stack glasses that were less than 2 inches where I was sitting. Luckily, I covered and didn't get hurt as glass hit my arm (covering my face). My waiter, (brown hair with circular vision glass) half apologizes for him and say "sorry he's drunk it happens". I ask to move to table since I already order. Drunk, bald white man (pictured) team up on me as he starts screaming gibberish at me! Keep in mind he never apologized. My waiter, (brown hair with circular vision glass) demands that the drunk man didn't do it on purpose and need for him to apologize. I notify my waiter I want to be seated at a table. Then, I notify a female host about glass getting thrown at me by a drunk staff member and she responds, "you can't move locations, you'll need to close out your tab at the bar." Service was good. I got the grilled chicken BLT with fries. Hello, are these really good fries at an airport? YES! Honestly good. Next the chicken club was super tasty. Chicken was moist. The sourdough bread was...sour! Bacon was good. Just a bit of mayo. For real, this was a really good sandwich and fries. And for $18 at the airport? Are you kidding?
