Started off ok, straws thrown at us and told you roast us we roast you and we all cry and have therapy later. Then after our first exchange: we Never got roasted, no hat for anyone, got ignored. No one comes here for food they come for the gimmick! My son accidentally dropped a drink at one point, he thought they were kidding when he was told to clean it up. One waiter: not ours: was funny stomped on it and put a sign on it which said children need to be leashed: my son copied the stomping she did, but we never saw our waiter except the bill and was completely quiet and rude about it. But then we got shunned completely. We had no idea what happened because there were no hats, no service, no jokes after the initial meet. I asked for the manager, because it really hurt my kid. He has autism and he actually only wanted to do this activity while in florida, as hes seen it all over tik tok and loves "shit talking, roasting" both ways, and never asks to go to restaurants! The waiter told me im gonna be honest your kid is a fucking asshole and disrespectful, and im not taking it. I asked if it was about the spill, which i made him attempt to clean up after we thought thats why we were ignored, and apologized, and thought it was part of the show, because another table had napkins all over the floor and table, and she said no. She had made a joke initially about his arm and being a girls beginning softball team (he wants to be a pro athlete) when he tried to throw the straw she threw back, and he said something back about minimum wage. She then said i handle your food. Which looking back leads to EXTREME SAFETY CONCERNS, now that we know she wasn't joking at that point. That was apparently the line that he crossed. But instead of talking to him, and saying any rule perimeters, after saying that was the point of the restaurant, She ignored us completely, was rude at check out, and never gave them, the kids, hats or anything. We spoke to the manager and he was nice, but my kid is completely shut down, embarrassed, and worried about hurting someones feelings and kept repeating "i followed the rules, what did i do". This place was kinda fun for the whole "rude staff" gimmick, but honestly feels stuck somewhere in the late 90s Midwest bar scene... Chicago vibes for sure. Food was basic American stuff at normal tourist prices. Zero healthy options, draft beer selection was weak and somehow no pilsner on tap. Rib rack was absolutley drowned in BBQ sauce, wings were just okay on the rib/wings menu order. Manager sending fried pickles to every table was a cool touch tho. Our server really tried hard and stayed in character draping those jokes on the paper hats she made, bartender honestly outshined her with his rude attitude and silly gestures. I enjoyed every moment of my time there. The food was delicious!! I don't remember the name but my burger had blue cheese on it I was surprised at how good it was. I also had fried pickels and WOW! They weren't too salty and they were fried to perfection. They offer to make your drink stronger for a small up charge which I thought was cool. Never been offered that before. I also got to keep my Mason jar cup!! Our waiter Claire was amazing!! She was sarcastic but so helpful and gave great recommendations. All of my food was great. Booked a birthday party through the sales manager who failed to inform us that the restaurant was also part of a FIFA World Cup watch party happening directly outside the restaurant. There were quite literally one hundred or more people gathered in a tiny area screaming, using horns, etc. to watch the game. Obviously, they can't control when the World Cup is...but the sales manager should/could have informed us when making the reservation. Host had to find us a table to sit at and after a few minutes, sat our party of 10 at a table for 6. Was so loud and rowdy that we could not have a conversation, the infant in our party was upset and crying the entire time, etc. Our server had a great personality, and did make the best of the situation for us, until she disappeared for about 45 min. Food was mediocre at best, and burnt at worst. Had to ask three times for an entree that wasn't delivered to the table. Had to chase the server down to ask for the bill 40+ min after we had finished eating. Finally got the bill, and we were charged $100 and change more than we were quoted. Brought the bill to the manager's attention and he could not offer any explanation as to why it was such a significant difference and made multiple remarks about how he would "see what he could refund to get close to what he owes us". Overall, the experience was pretty awful. We were very disappointed as the other reviews are good and we were excited to celebrate our son's birthday there. While I think a lot of this experience could be attributed to the FIFA event and the restaurant not being prepared to handle the volume of people, this entire issue would have been prevented had the sales manager informed us in advance. read more

CAUTION: This place is not for the weak spirited! Their entire job is to be good at being rude lol and they exceeded. It's a really fun restaurant staff that make sure you're having a good time while all the craziness is going on around you. The food was okay, not the best or worst I've had. Dick's Last Resort is a new (April 2025) restaurant that takes up a huge foot print in the Pointe Orlando entertainment complex. They will have some competition because this complex has many established fine dining spots. I visited during their soft opening so your experience may vary. Dick's is filling a void for a casual party vibe with signature green glasses hanging all over the bar and dining area. I think they want you to drink too many cocktails and get 'wacky.' If you are looking for that vibe but do not drink, the staff will help you fake it. This includes paper hats and a box full of props that almost require alcohol. Walking to the parking garage from a movie, I saw a Dick's sign for Cinco De Mayo specials and lucky me it was May 5th. I rolled in at 9:00 pm and ordered the Macho Nachos normally about $18 bucks but on special for $5. Sign me up. There were only two other customers sitting at the bar in the whole place as it was raining and a Monday night. They were loving the food and drink specials. The other customers had ordered the nachos and encouraged me to order them. As usual I asked them about the spicy or hot ingredients and the bartender joined in this conversation. It was determined if I left off the pickled jalapeños, I would be fine. Then the bartender asked me if I wanted them to go? Huh? I said nope for here. So 35 minutes later my nachos arrived just covered in toppings like I love them but front and center all kinds of sliced jalapeños. Now at this point the wise person would have picked them off but then I might have lost sour cream and cheese. I asked for them to be remade. The server said you did not order them that way but my fellow customers who are now paying their check, backed me up. Earlier the server had offered to make me a paper hat and I declined. Now realizing the service had been lacking she presented me a paper hat that said "Sweetie Pie." I was wondering if that was Dick's code for PITA. So 10 minutes later my nachos arrived with the quantity of toppings severely reduced. Same ingredients but just the bare minimum and served up by the manager who also included a side cup of jalapeños, in case I changed my mind. So now at 10 minutes to 10 pm they were closing everything up and the feeling that I needed to mosey was unmistakeable. I took my not so macho nachos to go. Be advised your check will include a resort fee which Dick's uses to reward excellence in the back of the house. Here is how I came up with my rating. Tried this place out and honestly it was a cool time, nice to try it out at least once lol. Our server was James, he threw napkins and straws at us, made an entire mess all over the place. Bras hanging on a line and screaming (not yelling) servers is not our idea of a family friendly place. Also, to find out you can only get a drink by purchasing a souvenir cup is ridiculous. And it's one thing to be "funny" rude but this place doesn't qualify for that. We love trying different things on vacation but unfortunately it's a big no for our family. This is one of my favorite restaurants. It's located in The Pointe and you will see it immediately by their mascot out front. The vibe is good. They play music from all genres so it's not just the same top 40 all the time. The drinks are good and a great size. I haven't had a food dish I didn't like. The boil shrimp, fried shrimp, veggies, nachos, burger, even the steak are all great. The service is meant to be bad, so keep that in mind when the servers are rude lol. Despite this, it's still kid friendly, so if you want to bring te family, do it! I will say sometimes the service can be a bit slow, but it's nothing that should keep anyone from trying it out. They have great events and participate in the Pointe bar crawls with FULL SIZED drinks. The prices are reasonable as well AND they apparently have a back room if anyone would want to have a event here. It's a more professional layout, so I like that versatility. read more

The butter for the crab was almost bitter and did not taste good. I had to ask if I was going crazy and let other people taste it and they agreed. Their fries though were perfect and I'm a huge fry guy and I had tried their wings and those were good but one of us had two not fully cooked in our group. On to the drinks pricy but delicious!!! Didn't taste like much alcohol were in them but they were still very good. I had the Squeeze my lemonade, royal buzz and red rocket. All great and you get to keep the souvenir glass they all come in which is part of why it's pricy with 12.99 a refill making some get more and some abstain. Unfortunately, I left disappointed on all fronts: the experience, the service, and the food. The novelty was fun for the first five minutes, but it wore off quickly. Drinks took forever to arrive... I could literally see them sitting on the bar waiting to be brought over. As expected, the food quality was not good, but even with low expectations, it still managed to fall short. My guy Zach was awesome and on point. Came in late night after a movie in the middle of the week and the place felt like a weekend. High energy and the food was very filling. Couldn't even really finish it all so ended up taking a doggy bag home in a box. Bathrooms were accessible. Everything was low to the ground. Very handicap friendly. And very friendly to any and everybody. Love the souvenir hats. They were wildly inappropriate and I loved it. Make sure and read that sign as soon as you walk in and ask for normal if you don't think you can handle the sarcasm but this whole restaurant is a theme and a moving fun house.
