His demeanor is respectful and firm, while being very thorough in his work. The practice has two locations, both of which are easily accessible by Rt. 15 and have ample parking. The large waiting room and super clean exam rooms show that the doctor pays attention to patient comfort. He also has a good turn around time for patient appointments, test results, prescriptions, and scheduling procedures.

I find his office to be one of the easiest doctors offices to deal with for questions, appointments, refills or anything. While it seems to be customary to wait for any doctor these days I actually like this doctor and staff so it makes the wait slightly less painful. Dr. Bloom is definitely one of the best doctors I've had the pleasure of seeing for my issues and I've met some real doozies. He made me feel comfortable, listened to, and genuinely cared about. He has a good sense of humor which makes for a good bedside manner. Now keep in mind I haven't seen him in over 3 years and yet he knew me right away. I will continue to see Dr. Bloom for as long as medically necessary; and for as long as I'm in CT, you should to!

Agreed I should stay overnight for endoscopy, he spoke with Dresnick - I saw him speak to him and even confirmed with a phone call at the end of his shift that Dresnick would do the scope. I was instructed to not eat or drink in the ER all night, all morning. Dresnik sent his PA, Michelle, the next morning who was cold and rude to tell me he was not doing the scope, it wasn't an emergency. His PA said he didn't even know who I was. Complete lie!!!! Then she stepped out to speak to with a nurse about Botox and a new boyfriend. I chose my health over my job when I decided to stay overnight in the ER (cancel important meetings at work) just to have my time wasted by Dresnik and his schedule.

I'm not a Christian, but as I was being prepped, I felt as though I were being cared for by a flock of Nuns. They even had some lovely suggestions on where I would pretend to be during the procedure.

When I went in for my scheduled colonoscopy, I was kept waiting several hours before I was taken into the procedure room. I made a follow up appointment and was called that afternoon that the doctor was unavailable but she can call me later that day they would call to check me in to obtain my co-pay who charges a co-pay for a follow up to a procedure. I've never had to do that before they called me to check in 30 minutes after they said they would and the doctor would be calling me in 10 minutes. It is now an hour later and I still haven't received a call. I'm going into the office to collect my records and will never use this facility again.

Clean modern office. First impression was top notch! Checked in with the lovely ladies at the desk who were pleasant and professional. Our dual consult appointment was scheduled and seen on time. Dr. Colonel was professional, thorough, reviewed our health history and most importantly made us laugh! His energy was magnetic! Our scheduled colonoscopy's went flawless. From the time we walked in, sat down for a few minutes. Then called in to get ready, the nurse was amiable with a great sense of humor! The entire experience felt like I was part of a comedy show ! All the nurses and even the anesthesiologists were humorous and caring. Smiles going in and smiles coming out! Start to finish 1 hour. Doctor provided me with a result of my colonoscopy. Incompetent in every possible way…read more On the way to the procedure I got a call from them saying I'm late. No I'm not. They gave me a wrist band that indicates I'm female. No I'm not. I got a bill for over $850 because they coded it as something different than routine. No it wasn't. My insurance company called them 4 times but never received a response because they DO NOT CARE. AVOID CT GI.
