Purchased a defective item and they refused to give me a refund. I produced the receipt but they wouldn't budge. They claimed that I purchased the item elsewhere even though the receipt clearly showed that it was bought in their store. I had been a customer their for 22 years but from now on I'll do business at Tractor Supply down the street. This isn't the first time I've had trouble with the manager of that store. read more

Gasser's is a nice old school hardware store in the sense that it is staffed with helpful and knowledgeable people. I've been able to find a number of household items here quickly and efficiently. Staff will not hesitate to refer you to another local business if they don't have an item stocked, This happened when I was looking for gardening supplies. And speaking of that, the outdoor garden shop just opened for the season. There is a limited selection of greenhouse items, but everything is good quality and a good value. While there is a color code system for pricing of most items, many have no prices and it's a bit of a chore to find out how much a particular bush costs. Good news is it probably won't break your bank. There is usually one person available for questions outside in the greenhouse. But overall, a pleasant spot to shop for lawn and garden items.
