To my surprise this mall was super dead for that time and day. It's like nobody lives in this town. Any who, the less people, the faster the shopping experience is. This small shopping center hosts standard mall-stores (A&E, B&BW, The Children's Place, Finish Line, Game Stop, GNC, KJ, Payless, Spencer's, VS, Zales., amongst others). Mall patrons are nice, and their stores are clean and well stocked. Great place for a good walk, and for a quick in-and-out shop.

The MANAGER Sheri Ayres and her male young coworker both were there both times and both said she would get the sale price. They will do anything to get you to purchase something. I have NEVER stolen from Target or anywhere else for that matter. I actually have gone to Target multiple times this week and every single time I either get followed to the register, and the person literally stands and stares at me like I have committed an atrocity. Again, I have never stolen from your store, never would, and never had intentions to. I might look a little white trash sometimes, but following me around because I am in work clothes looking less than the normal Target shopper is rude and extremely uncomfortable. Today as I was checking out around 330pm, the tall blond haired older woman working the self checkouts, barked at me the entire time I was trying to check out even came over and touched my screen multiple times, rudely told me I needed to get the security tag removed from my lashes and GRABBED THEM OUT OF MY BAG, which I was going to do after I paid, I've done it before I take it to customer service they see the receipt they remove the tag and I leave. I have never been made to feel like I am doing something wrong when I wasn't, and wasn't welcome at a store until now. I used to work loss prevention elsewhere, so I know you have to be safe, but seriously every single time and I've never once stolen anything. So why? Why keep being rude, and why continue to make me feel like a piece of garbage for absolutely no reason at all? I will most likely not be returning to this particular Target in the future.

After I purchased the item I was told wrapping would be done between customers and could take 5-10 minutes. 25 minutes later my present was wrapped and I was finally on my way. If I had additional shopping to do this would have been fine. Unfortunately I did not. So I stood and watched the associates talk with each other and slowly wrap the present when they were not doing anything else. I decided the best way to spend my time was writing a review. I will not be back to this Bed Bath and Beyond if I am in a hurry. If I have nothing else to do on a Saturday I may wander in and watch them take 25min to wrap a present again.

Which can be good or bad, depending on how you look at it. Yes, it is a bit crowded, but they have so many options. One benefit at the smaller store is that they do the gift wrapping themselves. At other bigger stores, they will just have a station set up to do it yourself. I've never had to wait for the gift wrapping like another reviewer mentioned. The staff is usually very helpful when I am looking for a specific item. The only disappointment was when my fiance and I visited on a Saturday hoping to start our registry. They have a very poor internet connection there so the wedding consultant couldn't set up our registry online. He still gave us the goody-bag so we could look through some of the catalog things and get an idea of what we wanted. We ended up doing our registry at a different store.

i agree with every review posted for this store on JFK. however, in the, or some of the management…read morestaff, & some employees, the ones who really like their job & strive to do all they can to stay there & hope, i say hope things turn around. it is so sad that that store went from the top two down to the last in popularity. i have been there over 3 years & i still want to stay, but it is sooooooo, hard to do the jobs of many to keep what is left of the store afloat. there are a small few who work there that want to keep it going, but there is no help from the manager, one assistant manager & the corporation themselves. If corporation would listen to the store employees suggestions, the district manager, & also stop being cheap & pay their employees more than minimum wage. people may say, well its a job. No, its peoples lively hood & they do like where they work, & paying people minimum wage & working their asses off, is insulting & shows the opposite of what Dollar Trees policies & training videos teaches us & the public. that store is so far down, i, as part of management, really, truly do not know how, or if it can get better unless corporate stops sending tons of merchandise, pays more to keep employees there, to allow stocking hours into the weekly payroll, which is so ridiculous, & to allow Dubuque stores to use more than one cashier throughout the day. Only having one employee all day is the main, biggest, but fixable, complaint that i notice-hear from customers. i have noticed that the main reason i stay there is because i want to continue to help, aid, & serve the employees & keep good positive relations with the community. i put them first in ways that Dollar Tree does not like or may be against their policy. i do this from time to time because every single day i see & hear how bad this store is, & how unhappy customers are. i just want to say that i will continue to hope, & pray that things are & get netter when i get back from my health issues. It is going to be a huge uphill battle, but i will do everything i can. i would like to add that the only stocker this store has, only 1, that is trying to stock merchandise from 2,300 piece trucks weekly. he is doing a wonderful job, he's going over the top, but i tell him to slow down because i don't want him to hurt himself before, or ever, i come back. if anyone does go tot he JFK store in Dubuque, & see this gentleman, Randy, please let him know how much you appreciate his work.
