Off the beaten path by maybe driving 2 minutes out of my way from the busy intersection off the highway and the bustle of the super busy gas stations around there, this was a quite mirage of sorts. A working air pump, nobody there getting gas but me, a lovely quiet retail space selling snacks and drinks and clean bathrooms, a nice girl working behind the counter. It appears the backside of this station does a big amount of trucking business, but not at the small gas station where I was. So ignore the trucks and drive on over for a less hassled rest stop and gas refill...and don't forget the air pump if you need it.

Absolutely Lifesaver on the 4th of July!…read more I am on a long road trip with my family in our 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander when our dashboard suddenly lit up with a bunch of serious malfunction errors, and the car lost driving power. It was incredibly stressful, especially since it happened right before the holiday weekend when almost every other repair shop was completely closed. I pulled into this Steve's Shell Service Center, and Steve stepped up to help us. He was incredibly friendly, kind, and calm. He is extremely knowledgeable about modern vehicle electronics and took the time to listen to what happened, scan the vehicle's computer codes, and explain exactly what was causing the glitch. He cleared the error codes for us completely for free so we could get back on the road safely and finish our holiday trip. After a long test drive, the car is running perfectly normal again and all the dashboard lights are gone. Steve didn't just fix our car's electronic glitch; he saved our entire holiday weekend. If you ever need honest, expert, and genuinely caring mechanical help, go see Steve at this Shell station. I cannot thank him enough!

I told the cashier about it, and asked if they had any ice and she said "no, we don't have anything to put the ice in." I had to drive back for 2 and a half hours in pain. Also, just a simple "I'm sorry that happened to you" would've been appreciated but instead she looked at me like I had just personally insulted her just because I told her I burned my hand on their hot coffee. This probably isn't my first pick for a gas station in Cedar. Probably not even my first pick for a…read moregas station in Cedar City that's on 200 N, if we're being specific. But every so often you find yourself so inconvenienced by a left turn that you just have to gas up for a few cents more. No? Is it just me and my disdain for left turns? Okay, fair enough. So there's not much more to say than that. Every time I go through Cedar City (note: I'm not a local) this Chevron is always a few cents more than the rest of the gang there on 2nd. If you buy into the additives discussion, then you'll get them in the Chevron gas. But for the junk food, the cheaper gas, and what usually amounts to a better turn you may want to cruise up and down and see what the town offers you.
