I feel like I can't go to this location anymore ( even though it is the closest one to me ) due to one of the workers named Andre he has made my friends and I very uncomfortable in many ways..not too long ago I went in there with a few friends and we started to joke around together while we got what we wanted and he decided to tell us without hesitation that if we wanted to keep messing around we have to do it naked and that is not okay it's completely inappropriate and unprofessional that is crossing the line to sexual harassment not to mention it makes the other workers look bad read more

I have had 2 very bad experiences here now. The manager TYLER is absolutely terrible at managing and threatened to have me arrested when I called to voice my complaint. The first incident the red haired lady couldn't split a payment..so I couldn't get lunch. When I went back in, another employee said she could do it no problem. Luckily I was able to get my food, but the manager said terrible things about the employee in front of her to us. (I have it on video) The second time a man break checked me outside..when he went in I asked what his problem was, my bf swore and a white hair employee said there was no swearing allowed. Fine. When I called to voice my concern the manager said I was at fault, he can do whatever he wants and if I show up again I will be arrested. Then he hung up on me. read more

Every time I come to Cedar City, we have to stop by this Maverick! It's so big and has so many options inside the store. The store is clean and so are the restrooms. I love their self service coffee machine as it is easy to use and customize your drink option. We stop by on the way home so we can grab their breakfast food. They have a hot bar of different options for breakfast so I got: sausage, egg and cheese burrito, sausage, egg and cheese bundle and their sausage and cheese tornados. The tornados are amazing! They're kind of spicy and crunchy on the outside and easy to eat on the road. They even have taco sauce and other sauces to enjoy. Will for sure be back next time I'm in town! read more

Maverik gas station's Nitro card makes me feel like I am ballin; the way their Jalapeño Bahama Mama takes the culinary genius of the American Gas Station hot dog to a whole new level... and the surgical spotlessness of their bathroom (should I require to use it after the JBM) it makes me question if I'm at a gas station or a five-star restaurant! Kudos Maverik of Cedar City, Utah for being a, (dare I say it?) a Maverick! In my experience, your employees are always attentive and courteous, while your business model has proven to be a disruption to the gas station status quo and raised the bar, improving the refueling experience for those of us who find ourselves on the road often! If you like to pee practically in public, stop here. The bathroom (no not the stalls) the entire bathroom has no door and not the kind where you go around the corner... but when you walk by the men's room there is a urinal covered by only a partial partition and zero privacy since the bathroom stall in the ladies room is literally RIGHT next to the wide open walkway AND in direct line of fire into the men's room. Let's just say, if you so much as fart on the toilet the whole store is going to hear you. There are two other Maveriks in town just go to one of them. My daughter & I lost our appetites after experiencing that, and left without buying the snacks we'd planned on. read more

I've stopped here for fuel on a few occasions and this time, I opted to snag their Adventures Club card. Fuel pumps have a nice selection of unleaded octane. Also, Ethanol free is available here at the pumps, too. Last time I stopped, they were doing some construction. That is now complete and there are several more lanes available. This is RV friendly and can accommodate the BIG RV rigs at their new fuel islands. Also available is an RV dump station which is very easy to get to and most any rig can use. Their fuel prices are always competitive and normally cheaper than those nearby. I'm not the only one who likes this place as normally the fuel islands are busy (during peak hours). You may need a little patience to get a spot depending on the time of day. The store and grounds are kept clean and the staff has been friendly each time I've stopped. Now that I've joined the club, I'll be stopping more. This will be my stops from here on out while I'm in Cedar City. read more

I'm convinced that maverick country stores loves to lose money. Most the time I go to fuel up there lately, their point of sale system at the pump will lead to customers inside to pay. And since you just can't do the "filler up" thing, you are stuck guessing how much you need to put in the gas tank, I have to figure that out in dollars. This means you have to make two or more transactions to get a full tank. Which also means I'm not going there anymore. I am used to be such a big fan of maverick and I've been very loyal but at this point it's a shame that this simple fix and told them about has gone unchecked. I'm still surprised that company like this like you let your customers walk away and drink money somewhere else. read more

I love Maverik gas stations, but whatever you do, do not get their Nitro card!!! Their Adventure Card is ok, but not their Nitro Card. The Nitro card is a debit card that withdraws money out of your bank account. I got the Nitro card because I get more cents off per gallon. What a mistake!! On two separate occasions, they have made multiple withdrawals for the same purchase out of my bank account.This happened about a year ago, and when I called them they fixed it and apologized. Well now it happened last week too. I bought a tank of gas for $33 and they charged my bank account for eight tanks of gas - eight charges of $33 for a total of $264!!! Luckily, they didn't cause any of my checks to bounce, because I had extra money in the account. They will probably credit my account, but meanwhile I am still missing that money. As soon as this fiasco is remedied, I will remove my bank account from their records and destroy the Nitro Card. I will still use the Adventure Card in conjunction with my credit card. read more

Great pit stop for heading back home to Ely Nevada. Food is always warm and good, cookies are great and the soda fountain is always setup properly and they have the "good ice". Always have a clean and tidy restroom also so that's a bonus. Can get busy at times but that's expect as most mavericks get slammed through out day. read more

just went there, being a native of the neighborhood, might of been a bit late, grabbed a dog, bag of chips, and a pack of smokes. I had a large bill. Got shut down. Can anyone please explain to me why a convenient store can't break a large bill? Told the clerk that smaller change back was way cool, he told me that he couldn't. I had to leave without my pack of smokes, I'm pissed!!! WTF I know the manager is Collette and she should be able to let her employees have access to break any size bill regardless of the time of night. Especially being a large corp. like Maverick. So at this point being a Utah native and a noob to YELP I'm going to have to say Maverick stores can eat SHIT!!!!! Would leave zero stars if possible. This is a big, new and efficient gas station /convenience store. They have a good selection of fresh food and all the snacks. I have never had to wait long. Also cheap gas is a plus. read more
