This experience turned completely around for us from one star to an easy five stars. First: (Stopped for gas. Only succeeded in getting a hold put in my card. This is a nightmare on a cross country trip. Fighting with them right now as the instructions provided have NOT resulted in obtaining gas. By the way, the hold was for all available funds on that card.) Second!!!: Okay This guy!!! Epitome of customer service!!! He even came out to make sure it worked, did not deny our experience, and generally rocked it. The guy inside at the register said "let me get my boss." That's when Kyle came into the picture and we left happy. Got our gas, got our money.

Had to go inside to get a authorization code for the gas pump. So we paid a $100 on the pump. I had just gotten the app for Maverick (I've convinced a couple other friends who have Mavericks nearby and on their travels - as I do not), so I went in and asked the gals at the counter how to link my gas purchases to my app. One gal (younger) looked like she was in semi comatose and a deer in the headlights. The older gal said, "as long as you entered the code". So I asked if it was the auth code, because I had just gotten the app, and she pretty much repeated about the code. Not very helpful. They seemed a bit annoyed to have customers with questions especially. Not sure yet if the Maverick app, or stops at Maverick will be a choice in the future or not. We shall see.

Very large gas station and convenience store attached. Prices for gas were lower than what I paid in Las Vegas. Prices of goods are reasonable.

Beautiful ambiance for a gas station!!

I tried a Crispy Chicken sandwich (hold the tomato) and purchased a side of Honey Mustard sauce for $.35 to dress it up. That worked well & the chicken was cooked correctly and was still slightly juicy. (Seven Brothers Chicken teriyaki sandwich is juicier and a little bit thicker but costs 55% more. Buns are comparable.). I would get Culver's Crispy Chicken sandwich again. Attention is needed to the upkeep of the interior of the restaurant. Didn't see much table cleaning going on; just food deliveries to tables and the workers vanished back to the counter area. Next time we go I'll look to see if any of the staff is over 20. It always feels like there's a lot of staff standing around showing limited interest in the customers and no management in the building. The table number placard we received was grimy (see picture) so an unpleasant thought occurred to me as to what the kitchen looks like beyond the pass through window area.... I can't be the only person to notice the gunk on the #14 table placard. Yet no one seems to think to wipe it off. I like Culver's menu and hope the owner keeps on top of things so we can keep them in our eating out rotation.

This place serves up some of the freshest, most authentic Mexican grub I've had in southern Utah. We ordered a mix of their street tacos (the carne asada and al pastor are absolute standouts--juicy, perfectly seasoned, and topped with fresh cilantro, onions, and a squeeze of lime) along with their homemade horchata and a side of beans. We also enjoyed one of their daily specials, with a staff-recommended chia-lime and strawberry fresca, and everything was amazing. Everything was made to order, bursting with flavor, and surprisingly affordable for the quality. The staff was super friendly and quick, even during the dinner rush, and the casual vibe with outdoor seating made it perfect for unwinding with the kids. No frills, just great food that feels like a taste of home. If you're in Cedar City for skiing, hiking, or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop here. We'll definitely be back--five stars all the way!

We love all of the different meats and never go without rice, beans, chips and salsa. Order our first exposure were the tostadas which are heavenly. If you go in instead of hit the drive-through on your way home from work, it is super low-key, always clean and very nice temperatures. The staff is friendly and highly accommodating. A great place to eat even if you are dairy or gluten free, like me.

Time in line wasn't bad - about 8 mins from walking in the restaurant, we were headed back home with our meals. Decent timing for 4:45pm on a Saturday. I regret that decision as now I know it isn't in my mind that this location has declined. First Mercedes was rude and very nit pleasant to interact with. Secondly, my chicken burrito was disgusting. The chicken was burnt. I tried to just eat the rice and the black beans must've been in that pot heating for over a week. The good news is I left no longer hungry without consuming the calories of what I ordered. Finally they have definitely replaced the seating since I was there previously. Clearly the choice was to cram absolutely the most seating in the tiniest room. Unfortunately the seating is so close that either I sit where people are attempting to walk or I rub my rear end across the neighbors table as I try and access the back seating. Most of the tables were dirty so obviously the plan is disgusting dining. I do not plan to be back and there are so many other choices that don't give me attitude, burnt food and seating that is ridiculously to close.

We ordered sandwiches as close to what we usually get from JJ's through the Jersey Mike's app for pick up. Couldn't figure out on the app how to add-on a 3rd meat to my husband's 2 meat sandwich. All the app offered was to increase the existing meats with the $1.85 extra meat option. I didn't think adding a note would do it either since the meal is totaled up and charged when placing the order. Could I have selected "extra meat" and put in the notes to add roast beef? Who knows. Got the sandwiches home and I'm not thrilled with the excessive cornmeal from baking on the bottom of the roll (messy). Also the hot pepper relish That sounded interesting wasn't actually hot in any way and really had no flavor. Maybe my tastebuds were boycotting this other sandwich shop or were really just set on the JJ's flavor profiles and Mike's fell short. I learned that the red wine vinegar just makes the bread soggy in spots after an 8 minute return ride home so I attempted to use the notes section on the app (I think I saw) to have it placed on the side we might have had a better experience. My Italian meat sandwich wasn't really flavorful. Couldn't taste some of the meats that normally stand out. It was a disappointment for me and my husband's sandwich was just okay. The gal at the counter was enthusiastic and friendly and had our sandwiches bagged up shortly after my arrival. So I think we've learned to cover our sandwich needs Monday through Saturday at our usual restaurant provider.
