They stand behind their work and they have a great customer service team! Thanks! Three people on our street used them in 2017.

I gave Paul a picture of what I wanted the bathroom to look like and he delivered. Paul was easy to work with (professional, efficient, responsive, friendly and accommodating) and scheduled things around the Plumber and when the tub was to come in to get the job completed. When things came up along the way Paul never seemed to get frustrated, and found solutions to the issues. I work from home and was always checking in on the progress of the remodel, but Paul indulged me every time. Thank you Paul, I love my new bathroom! Paul also painted my dining room walls, trim and installed a new overhead light. He worked very efficiently and completed the job in a day. It came out beyond my expectations. I will have Paul back to do more work in my house, hopefully the kitchen next.

He had to replace our bathroom shower floor and there was absolutely no mess. Got us done in less than a week. The best part was his final cost was only about $50 higher than quoted as there were a few other supplies needed. Just for the record, he actually had his assistant Junior here two days on his own due to a charity Paul donates his time to. I highly recommend Paul and Junior for any project large or small

The walls and floors had bad rotting and damage due to the previous owners' neglect. Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.

I would never use him again or recommend him to anyone…read more Contracted with him to put an addition on and renovate entire house ~10 years ago. The good: The three carpenters he had were top-notch and the work they did was excellent. His carpentry crew showed up when they said that they would. The bad: Some of his sub-contractors did a lousy job and Bill would not make it right. A/C guy did the install in December so was supposed to come back in May to run and tune it up, never showed twice. His asphalt guy laid down a new driveway over the old one which had two deep cracks (~4" and ~2" wide respectively) with no prep of the cracks. New driveway cracked again and sunk in those spots w/in 3 months. The asphalt contractor got cancer and died shortly afterwards, but Bill refused to get someone to fix the problem (since Bill hired the subs, he owned the problem). By electrical code his electrician (Bill's son) was required to mark the breakers he installed, he never returned to do that work. Bill refused to return my calls or Faxes about these problems. Finally I hired an HVAC company and paid almost $800 to fix the problems left by the original A/C guy (who even left valve open on compressor so refrigerant leaked out according to the new HVAC person). I also paid another asphalt company $300 to patch the cracked driveway but he told me that the only real solution was to rip up and replace it . . . something he told me that the original guy should have done to do the job right. Meanwhile Bill accused me of "stealing" from him since I refused to pay him the last $400 that I owed him on this job (that was over $100K) until the above issues were addressed (which he refused to do). I could have taken him to court and/or file a complaint against his license but I was just so aggravated that I decided not to make it worse by dealing with the cumbersome legal system.

This could turn into a 5 star review but I will leave it at 4 for now because I am only on day into…read morethe actual work being done. I had a sewage back up in my basement and needed to get the old orangeberg pipe removed and a new sewer line replaced on my property. I knew Brunelle had done other work on my street in the last year so I reached out to them. John responded within one hour even less then that and was at my house looking over the job. John gave me a fair price and within days (after calling dig safe) the job began. John and his team finished the pipe laying and excavating in one day. I seen the entire job get done and even had a neighbor watch for me as well. I appreciate how quickly John Brunelle got this job on my property done. I will give this a 5 star rating if some other things happens or I will drop it to a 3. My yard needs to be resodded and John said he would take care of it, it is Jan. now so I don't expect the resod until spring but also THIS IS NOT JOHN BRUNELLE Fault. The town had John tie in the new pipe on my property to their existing orangeberg pipe in the street instead of replacing it all with new pipe. This is a huge concern to me because orangeberg pipe has an expectancy of 50 years so the towns pipe is now at 55 years and potentially could cause another back up for me. I truly believe the town of Mansfield should have had Brunelle run brand new pipe onto the street as well but I understand that John Brunelle cannot do that unless the town allows him to and also pays him to do it. This is the biggest concern on this particular job I have, it was only like 15 more feet of new pipe that needed to be laid. I cannot understand why the town would not just allow it to be done right, tying in new pipe to 55 year old orangeberg pipe is a recipe for disaster but that is the decision the town of Mansfield made. Brunelle Cotracting did all for me that they could under the circumstances at hand so once my yard is resodded that will complete their end of the bargain and I will recommend to anyone who asks.

We hired Powell to paint the exterior of our home and their carpentry services to replace several rotted window frames for a three story house. Andre stopped by to perform the initial exam and was very thorough and knowledgeable on the work that needed to be done. Unlike other painters I contacted, the Powell team was easy to contact and actually showed up on time for the scheduled time slot. Their quote for the project came in right around the same as other quotes we received, and it was well worth the cost. I can't praise the level of service you get with Powell. Stephanie, who handles scheduling and billing, was on top of communications so that I didn't have to worry about anything. Even the owner, Bryan, stopped by at the beginning to inspect a few leaks we had in our ceiling to help us determine whether there were other issues beyond repairing the rotted windows for us to consider. They will even bring out the drone for inspection if you have a tall home. As additional rotted windows were discovered during the power washing, work orders to add additional work was clear and simple. Once the work actually began, it went so smoothly. Andre stopped by every morning and afternoon to check in and update us. Our crew, Thiago and Breno, were incredibly hard workers. They were at our home by 7:30 am every morning despite the terrible traffic and often worked past 7 pm even during a heat wave. The guys were experts on the ladders despite having a few high, tricky spots to get to. The worksite was clean after each day which I was grateful for as we have a toddler running around. The entire project took 10 days. While it moved fast, it didn't feel rushed and no corners were cut to finish quickly. They even paused the project for 2 days because of rain so that we didn't run the risk of streaky paint. After the work was completed, they insisted on us contacting them if we weren't satisfied with any part of the project. Our home looks completely transformed and brand new. I cannot recommend Powell Painting enough for a stress free and professionally done project.

Working with Powell has been one of the best experiences I have had as a new homeowner…read more I reached out to Powell to see if they would be willing to paint the basement room in the townhouse that serves as my movie room\home office. The color that the prior owners picked while nice was a bit too dark for such a small room. They responded to my inquiry the same day and arranged a date and time to stop by and look at the room. Bryan and Andre arrived exactly on time and took a look at the room. Super friendly, patient, and willing to address any questions and concerns. As part of the renovation of the room, I was planning on replacing the carpet and asked him if I should do it before painting the room or after. He strongly suggested to replace the carpet first since the installers tend to scuff the baseboards terribly as they are ripping the old carpet out. I followed his advice and did the carpet first and sure enough the baseboards were in such bad shape after that had I painted I would have had to repaint them. I'm so thankful for that. On the day of the job, Bryan and Andre introduced me to Freddie who would be painting the room for me. Super friendly, professional, and honest. After grabbing the paint, he laid down tarp to cover the brand new carpet and got to work on the walls. It's amazing how quickly he was able to paint this room. It felt as if every move was calculated. What's more impressive is that he conversed with me the entire time! During the end of day 1, Freddie called me over and informed me that the two coats of paint that the quoted me for the job would not be sufficient for cover the walls and they will need to grab another can of paint. I asked him how much extra would I need to pay on top of the quote and said nothing. They told me it would take two coats, it didn't, so it was on them to make it right. Freddie told me he already informed Bryan and he would stop by the paint store tomorrow to grab another can of paint on their dime. I wasn't expecting that at all but greatly appreciated it. In the early afternoon of the second day the room was done. I thanked Freddie and waited for the paint to dry before heading down to plan out moving furniture back in. It was then that I noticed that there were some areas in the room that we not completely covered. I reached out to Stephanie and she called back soon after and told me that Freddie would be stopping by again later the SAME day to take a look. True to their word, Freddie stopped by and took a look at the walls now that they were dry and he confirmed the coverage issues. He grabbed paint and did another pass on the walls which removed the old color. After Freddie departed I started to notice that that wall color is much much warmer that I expected. I tried various color temps on the lights to no effect. I took a look at the sample patch in the other room and confirmed that it looked very different and that maybe I might have made an expensive mistake with the paint choice for this room. On a whim I took a few pics and emailed Stephanie with my concerns. I figured at this point they'll I'm crazy and I didn't expect to hear back. After all, I chose the paint color, they painted the room perfectly, their task is done. An hour after I send the email I get a call, it was Bryan. He looked at the photos, and saw the same thing that I have seen, and he and Stephanie have been trying to figure out the root cause. It turned out that there was some miscommunication and an incorrect shade of white was used on the doors and trim causing white walls to become warmer than they should. He apologized and asked to send a couple of painters the following day with the correct paint to address. I already felt bad about Freddie having to come back so I told Bryan not to rush but he insisted. He knew I took the week off to clear out the room to get it painted, and he wanted to get the job done so I have the weekend to put everything back together so I can work on Monday. 7am the following morning Andre and another painter arrived with the correct paint and took a little over an hour to repaint the doors and trim. As soon as I stepped into the room the walls immediately cooled down. And the state of the brand-new carpet after they were done? Spotless. I love the room now. Snow like color make the room feel bigger and more comfortable. It's easily my favorite place in the house. If you're looking for painting service for your home and are within the service area don't bother looking anywhere else. It's not just the quality of their work (which is outstanding), it's their level of accountability. They will do everything to ensure that the job is done and that you are happy. They came back to my home at two separate occasions to complete one room and I didn't pay a penny more than what was initially quoted to me. I cannot recommend Powell enough and can't wait until I can get them to paint other areas of the home.
