I wish I could give Gary six stars because he really delivered a stellar experience. I booked with Gary to support post-op healing, and was specifically interested in lymphatic drainage massage to help my body deal with inflammation/swelling. Lymphatic drainage massage is unique in that it utilizes a feather-light touch and specific maneuvers to activate the drains of the lymph system. I could tell immediately that Gary was an expert at this technique. I was particularly pleased with Gary's professionalism. He arrived a few minutes early to set up. He brings the clinical setting to you; he has an extremely comfortable massage table, equipment for calming music, and I believe his website mentions aromatherapy if you so wish. As he set up, Gary really took the time to educate me on his background, the particular technique he was using that day, and gave me an opportunity to ask questions. He knew every detail I shared in my intake form and was prepared to work around the area on which I'd recently had surgery. The massage itself was extremely relaxing and in the days that followed, I did feel a reduction to inflammation I was seeking to address. Despite it being a very gentle massage, almost like tickling, Gary did share that some aches and pains could present and that would be an indication that the lymphatic system was processing some of the stored fluid and toxins. To my great surprise, I was indeed sore the next day in a couple places! I feel blessed to have found such an amazing practitioner. If you're considering booking with him, I urge you to do so. I haven't had a massage in a few years and I was a little nervous about having someone come into my home that I didn't know. I looked online at several options for massages and kept coming back to Gary. He had great reviews. Gary made the process smooth and enjoyable. He asked questions to help determine what I needed and what I preferred. Throughout the massage he checked in to make the sure the pressure was alright. It was a great experience. Usually after massages I can hardly get off the table because I'm still in so much pain but this time I was able to get up right away. I was a little leery about booking a mobile massage online. I had never done that before and wasn't sure what to expect. My husband and I each had an hour massage and it was FANTASTIC!!!! After one visit the muscle work he did on my left shoulder region has GREATLY decreased the pain in that area. I have multiple medical issues that cause me chronic pain and I plan to schedule Gary to come back on a regular basis. I am SO grateful for some pain relief!!!! I need more than 5 stars for Gary, he is awesome. I was hesitant to have an in-home massage. After comparing prices and availability I decided I was going to give Gary a try because I had so much discomfort I needed a massage ASAP. Oh my, he was amazing, wonderful, there are not enough words to express how great his massage is. A big part of a good massage is the ambience so that was my biggest concern. He nailed it. He had relaxing music, all the equipment and oils that spa's do. When I was laying on the table with my eyes closed, he gave me a gentle tap and said okay you can get up now. I was startled when I opened my eyes, I forgot I was home! He nailed the ambience!!!! And I don't have to get in my car and try to drive while I am in this state of bliss. Never say never but I hope I never have to go for a massage shop again. When you think you are in heaven, it gets better. So $60 for an hour massage is lower than I have ever seen. He has a monthly membership to save $10 per massage. Shut the front door. He just gets better and better. I will add that $10 to his tip. I feel I am already getting more than what I am paying for so I don't feel right about paying less. However, I do really like the fact that he is offering me a discount.
