I would trust this dentist with any member of my family including children and grandchildren. I would never go anywhere else. Every member of the staff is there to make you feel COMFORTABLE! I came in with a bad past of dental hygiene and fear of the dentist. From day 1, not only are the face of the office (Katie and Blake) there to make your experience a personal and fearless one... The assistants and hygienists Jen (the wonderful person that cleans my teeth, I want no other doing that now!) made me feel as though "I" am the only one that mattered that day. As for Dr. Johnson... I really don't have a word to describe him. I have more words than I could type! He was the most sincere, comforting, knowledgeable, caring, and upfront about everything he examined and his plans to help me! Even though my situation was pretty extreme, I knew what was going to happen long before it happened. Nothing was done that wasn't discussed. There were no over or upcharges. I really like the people here... but sadly that does not help the many care problems myself and my family have had. A few of the top issues: Broken tool inside my wife's tooth (left in there) - and subsequently caused much pain for my wife she had to have that tooth pulled by someone else. Cut my daughters mouth and bruised her lip. Also messed up administering Novocain shot and caused problems. Root canal and crown on myself - intense pain and after and I tell the doc his reply is "That's unfortunate" - does nothing about it. To this day (two years later) I still get pain occasionally. Then next dentist I go to shows me a X-ray that the crown is not seated properly and there's a big gap under it (I lose a whole steak in there every time I eat) Also for some reason their gas doesn't work. I get anxiety with people up in my face for too long and have a nasty gag response - I tried their gas three separate times and it did nothing at all. Never had this problem. I explain the problem and they could care less. "That's weird... anyway" kind of response. The facility is nice, the people are nice... that's about it. read more

From the first phone call to my first round of work with him, they were caring and conscientious. The team is professional and friendly, and Johnson obviously skillful and meticulous. This "dentist" is a money grubber. He does shoddy work and has no regard for the patient complaints about after the work has been completed. Don't try to get the work fixed by disputing his bill for BAD dental work you will just not get any return of call and then you get sick of your complaining they will just turn you over to the credit bureau! My "fixed" tooth is the color of the filling next to it not the color of my actual teeth!!! The length is 1/8" SHORTER than the one next to it on one side and a little less than this on the opposite side. Don't bother. I have to begin my review by acknowledging that I've only been seen twice at Dr. Johnson's office. But wow, I am impressed! I had a crown and a couple of fIllings done this morning, and it was a fantastic experience! He took the time to and answer all of my questions in a way that I could in understand. I haven't needed any Ibuprofen or anything else. Every staff member I have encountered has been polite, professional, and welcoming. A couple of weeks ago I had an intake and cleaning, and I could not be happier with my experiences! I would DEFINITELY recommend this office to anyone! I've recently gone to several Dentists and Oral Surgeons for a diagnosis regarding pain in a molar, which turned out to be a fractured tooth with an infection. I have been concerned by the poor clean technique that was shown, in the era of COVID-19. I was an ICU RN for many years. Two Oral Surgeons had some staff without masks and one had a wooden basket that supplies were kept in. It was apparently, never cleaned. You can't clean a woven wooden basket, properly, on a patient by patient basis.They took supplies from it repeatedly, thus contaminating their hands & everything they touched afterwards, & handed it off to another staff member with another patient. Clean technique helps prevent other infections like Hepatitis and Herpes, as well as Syphilis, etc. This is serious stuff. By far, Dr. Johnson and his staff were the best. I had no complaints about their techniques. Dr. Johnson was very kind and sensitive to pain. When I had excruciating pain a couple months ago, he helped me tremendously, with a knowledgeable combination of medications, without the need for narcotic pain medication. read more

Best dentist in the area. Doctor Johnson is knowledgeable and explains each procedure beforehand. I truly feel that he does what's best for his patients and would never recommend any unnecessary procedures as I've experienced at other dentists. He also takes the time to make sure patients are comfortable. The hygienists and office staff are equally amazing. Billing is quick and have never had any issues. Good: All the staff was great to work with. The doctor explains everything in layman's terms, answers all questions, and makes good recommendations to benefit my health and teeth. The emphasis was on my well being. Dental work was excellent. The Bad: Very pricey for a cash payer like me, but they do give away chocolate chip cookies and drinks. In the past I have always hated going to the dentist. Although, ever since I started going to Dr. Gary Johnson it has been a positive experience, and my teeth have never looked better. I recently fractured a tooth from an old root canal, which was the most pain that I have ever experienced. Dr. Johnson was able to fit me in quickly and extract the tooth. Dr. Johnson is the only person in the world that can make a tooth extraction a pleasant experience. He also contacted me the next day to make sure I was doing okay. Five stars all the way. This office is the jam. I've been coming here for seven years and I've had nothing but great experiences. The staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. They all take the time to get to know you and give you personalized care. They even work hard to make appointments work with your schedule and they'll call you if a spot opens up. Dr. Johnson's office is the best place to go for all dental needs. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It's a warm environment with coffee, drinks and freshly baked cookies.
