I've NEVER had any any issue with anything or anyone at the office - all the staff is very kind and knowledgeable. Surh is former Navy, which I have a soft spot for as I have military family. In his waiting room, he has a photo of the ship he was assigned to, which I thought was a nice touch. He is obviously proud of his time in the military, which I appreciate greatly. The office is VERY clean, well kept, and there is water, coffee, tea, and other refreshments available in the wait room. Theres also a 2 TVs and a playstation, presumably for kids who might have to wait while parents or siblings are being seen. During the procedures, your room has 2 TVs mounted for distractions, including one overhead with subtitles always on (Lol, small details) for some additional distraction - normally tuned to HGTV, but the staff is always attentive and willing to change the channel if you prefer. Overall, I cannot recommend Dr. Surh enough. I've sent anyone who needs dental work to him and they all say the same - excellent service. Now the only downside: I have is that this man is the only DDS on site, so to see him, you may have to wait to see him. I promise you though, its worth the wait.

They helped put me at ease and made me comfortable the day of my appointment and the day I returned for my new tooth. I was recommended by a bunch of teachers here in Chico and knew that they would not steer me wrong! I came in with a very bad tooth pain that lit up my entire jaw, it was so bad I didn't even know which tooth was causing it. I went to Ampla as an emergency patient and they told me to buckle up for a 6 week approval from my insurance. When I contact Chico Dental and told them what was going on and I wasn't an established patient (but was interested in becoming one) they got me in the same week and got my work done a couple days later. Thank you!!! Again I'm so grateful and want to say thank you for getting me in and taken care of under the circumstance. Because of the amazing staff I'm am now feeling confident to have them take care of some other issues I've been putting off for years!

His office staff have all worked for him for years, which says a lot about his character. They are all top notch and so helpful. I've seen him recently for some dental work that required adjustments and I always got in the same day to have adjustments. His philosophy is (apparently) it's not right until it's right.

Don't be put off by their silly commercial or unique location in a family neighborhood, this place is top notch and a great dentist experience from their scheduling and administrative staff through the dental hygienists all the way up to Dr. Kremer. Stephanie is the best, hands down. She remembers details about our family and interests that makes any stop here more like a visit to a family friend than going to the dentist. She is knowledgable about my needs and concerns in comparison to my sisters (e.g. I care about stain a ton more, my sisters get lots of cavities and fillings) and provides realistic expectations for each. The facility is very warm and tasteful such that you forget you're in a office at all. It is a little dated for my tastes and rich for Chico but it works. It is notable that they do not sacrifice cleanliness for decor, aka the office is still immaculate. WE also had a schedule snaffu between my sisters and I as we were all to come int he week of Thanksgiving. The staff was nothing but helpful and kind through the whole ordeal but sending reminders, putting us on wait lists, and keeping us updated on any changes. It's no wonder that they have a waiting list for patients! PROS: friendly, fun decor, helpful scheduling, Stephanie CONS: silly commercial, out of town a lil

She checked in regularly, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I felt supported during my recovery. The aftercare was outstanding--I never felt rushed or overlooked, and her team was equally kind and responsive. Thanks to Dr. Clark's skill and care, my recovery has been smooth and successful. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a surgeon who combines excellent medical expertise with genuine compassion.
